I opened a door on the other side of the bathroom, revealing another bedroom. This on was the same as the other but this one was square and stars were on the ceiling. The round light would change from bright to dom. It was supposed to act as the moon. Figures were also carved into the white wall.
Chris crossed the room to where a door stood, “I bet this is another bathroom.” He swung open the door only finding a bright hallway. “See? I told you it was a hallway.”
I smiled, “ Come on you guys, let me show you the rest of the rooms,” I walked out the open door.
We went through all the guest rooms and started on the other side of the house. I showed them all the rooms including my room, master bedroom, 2 playrooms, a dark room, a TV room, 2 studios, a game room, a library, and a room of mirrors. I just finished showing them the room of mirrors when mom yelled saying supper was ready.
“Are we going to eat?” I asked them.We sat down in the hard wooden chairs to eat when we reached the dining room. I noticed it had turned dark.
“Mom, aren’t you going to eat with us?” I asked noticing she wasn’t sitting down.
“No, your father and I already ate while you were giving a tour upstairs.” We started to eat at the long table. Justin sat to my right, then Chris. Across from Chris was Lance; beside him was Joey who happened to sit beside me on the other side. Across from me, who was sitting at the head of the table, was J.C. I looked at Joey. He was so occupied into eating he didn’t even notice I have been staring at him for so long.
I blinked, breaking my gaze. “So,” I started, “how do you guys know each other?”
“We’re a boy band, ‘N Sync,” J.C. answered.
“Oh, as in garage band?”
“No, as in 1.5 million albums sold band.”
“Wow.”
“You, really don’t know who we are do you?” Lance asked.
“I can’t listen to the radio and I don’t like watching TV.”
“What do you do all day?” Justin asked curiously.
“Well, I get tutored every day, except in summer from 9a.m to 2p.m. Then I do anything I want for the rest of the day. Like I paint, I take pictures, I practice on the piano, stuff like that.”
“Talk about easy life,” Joey said.
“Not really, after exploring about 2 miles around this place you get kind of bored, especially when you don’t have any friends,” We finished in silence.
