Fi1a depicts a mass M1 whirling around a stable center C. The centrifugal force acting on the source via the rod is along the line OC,  away from from the center C.

In Fig1b I have schematically shown the situation for a golfer. Shoulder, lead arm and club, with three distinct centers of rotation, C1, C2 and C3.

The question is - the line of pull of the centrifugal force, is it along OC1, OC2, OC3 or along some other line ?

MizunoJoe what do you feel, intuitively, should be the correct line of pull ?
