Hcw, I have arranged a little game for you as shown in Figs 1 and 2.
One can activate the mass only by moving the end of the cord through either slot.
You can use only one of the two arrangements.

For every mile/hour of additional speed for the mass you gain $1000.
I know you dearly love your straight line motion, but .....
You have a wife and kids.
