BIO  SERVO  CONTROL II

We have seen previously that the club releases almost the same for a large variation in the angle at the top of the swing.

One can also ask the question what happens if, starting from the same position, one varies the magnitude of the central torque.

Tos/arm/shaft angle are the same for the three swings and equal to 90 deg. A dead stop is incorporated maintaining initially the 90 degree angle and free hinging from there on. Respective torques applied at center, swing1, 40 Nm, swing2, 60 Nm and swing3 80 Nm.

It appears almost as if there has been a copy/paste operation so closely indeed appear to be the impact conditions for the two segments at impact for the three cases.

The simple 2D mathematical model again shows a self regulation mechanism to exist for the impact conditions of the club. Now it is only a matter to exploit this sweet gift from mother nature.
