Mrs. Figg / Arabella Figg.
Ahhh, another big rumour floating around only this one is prooven true. Many people believed that Arabella Figg mentioned in book four is actually Mrs. Figg that looked after Harry when the Dursleys went somewhere.
Now when reading an interview with JK Rowling she confirmed that Mrs Figg is one and the same Arabella. Now the only thing we need to worry about is WHAT DOES SHE DO? - Idea's welcome.
The DaDa Teacher.
Now. Jk Rowling has confirmed that the new DaDa teacher will be a witch but who is it?
Some people say Fleur. Now why you may ask. Well, fleur did say she would be coming back to try and teach in hogwarts so she could "Improve her eenglish" But would fleur be a little young to fill the cursed DaDa position?
Another person people think will fill the DaDa position is Arabella Figg. I suppose it was because she was brought into the forth book but isn't Mrs. Figg an old lady? Well we don't know.
Another idea is that it is someone we don't know and I would have to side with that. Every DaDa teacher there has been so far has been new to the books. I think there will a new character brought in to make it more interesting.
Voldemort and other characters.
OK, Now this is a rumour i have heard alot but (sorry to those people who believe it) but I do not believe it for one second.
Ok. the first. Voldemort is Harry's father. Now I can see where people get the idea. Harry and Voldemort look alike. (well before Voldemort became Vldemort) And Voldemort refused to kill Lily. - it would explain why if she was the mother of his child but.... Why would Voldemort be so keen to kill Harry?
The Defence against it. - Now, If Harry was Voldemort's son.... I am sure you all remember that Tom Riddle won his service to the school 50 years before the 2nd book. and riddle was in his fifth year. So he was 15 when he won that award. So if you add up the math it makes that Riddle is 65 in the second book. now harry is 12 in that book. Meaning that Harry was born when Voldemort was 53. Now even is that was the case then you have to remember that Lily would not have been that age. Jk rowling said herself that Snape is about 36 in book 1. Now Snape was in the same year in school as Lily, James and the Marauders. So that means that Lily would have been 24 when Harry was born. And if that isn't enough.... Dumbledore said Tom Riddle went through many changes. And even hagrid said in the first book... "I don't think he had enough human left in him to die." So if he didn't have enough human in him to die.... did he have enough human in him to have a child?
Voldemort is Snape's father
Another one i don't believe. but this one would make alot more sense. This would mean Voldemort was 29 when he had Snape. A bit more acceptable. also Snape does look like Voldemort in some senses. He has black hair, waxy skin... It could make sence. Also we have never heard about Snape's family and you find out that tom Riddle was an orphan. So maybe that is the reason we have never found out about Snape's family, maybe he doesn't have one. By the way this doesn't mean that I agree with this rumour. I just believe it is more likely than Voldemort being Harry's father.
I have one more thing to say on this subject....
Snape's Mission
Now I am sure you are all on the edges of your seats waiting to find out where Snape ran of to at the end of the forth book. And i am sure you all remember Dumbledore's words.... "At great personal risk" So What is Snape going to do? I think the easiest explanation is that Snape has gone back to Voldemort as a spy but would JK Rowling do something we are all expecting?
Returning Characters.
Ok More things out of JK Rowling's mouth. LUPIN IS COMING BACK IN THE FIFTH BOOK. WOOOO HOOOOO. sorry. OK well I am sure EVERYONE mised Lupin in book four. But what part will he play in book five?
Lupin verses Petigrew
Now I am not sure where i heard this from but I remember getting very angry. Now, as you all remember Remus Lupin is a werewolf. Also i am sure you all remember that Voldemort gave Petigrew a silver hand. Now how many people realised that silver kills Werewolves? So... I am sure you know where I am going with this.... Maybe Petigrew is going to split up the remaining Marauders.
Dumbledore....
NOw according to JK Rowling Dumbledore is about 150 years old. Also Wizards have a higher life expectancy than muggles but how old is that expectancy? Could we loose our dear old Dumbledore before the HP series ends?
"Scar"
now that is apparently the last word of Harry Potter and the Green Flame Torch.(book 7) Now how do you think the books will end? Some people think Harry will die.... When asked why she wasn't writing past the seven years at Hogwarts Jk Rowling answered "You're very sure Harry is going to live past his seventh year?" Was she trying to prepare us for Harry's death?

Now i was off looking on the net after a friend recomended a site for some interesting discussion points, here are some comments and possible rumours I found.... the answers are straight from Jk Rowling.

Don't believe everything you read on the Net! I saw that rumor too, but it is just a rumor.

No, I think when I've finished the seven Harry Potter books I will be finished with the world. It will make me very sad to say goodbye, but it must be done!
Squashed Rumours
Ok. Many people think there is a BIG scandle because in book four JAMES came out of Voldemort's wand first. Now, Where this may have caused many many story lines to change I am afraid it is not true. There was a mix up. I am sure many (if not all) have you have written something and made a mistake, well sorry to crush all dreams that JK Rowling never makes a mistake but that is what happened.
A first batch of books was released where James comes out of the wand first. this mistake was noticed by millions and when asked about it JK realised what she had done. The book was sent back and a new version was released in which Lily comes out of the wand first. I will have proof, - I will scan a little bit of the page to show you all so you can all know that James didn't die after.
