Another Day

With a cheap tongue and sugarcoated lips
Filthy lies are your specialty.
Exerting blows so strong.
They bring me to my knees.
Down to the floor.

Where I'm just another unwanted speck of dirt.
Sweep me away.
You'll fix this another day.
That day grows further and further away.

You'd like to see me inbetween your sheets.
Naked, Bruised, and Broken.
I'd infest them with my bitterness.
Disgusted with each bodily collision.
Any hint of pleasure will be left unspoken.

Im just your brokenhearted patient.
With an unliscensed doctor
Awaiting the surgery
That will fix my pain.
But it is all vain...
Because you're the pain.
That is running through my veins.

Your bandages of lies, bandaids of empty words enter my wounds.
Allowing the happiness to escape even quicker,
The blood flow all the more thicker.

You'll fix it another day...
That day is to far away.

Unable or Unwilling to find a treatment.
For these symptoms
A black heart and overused cliches
Smooth lips and a lustful touch.
Send me plunging into a dark void
That is empty of love

Here the light grows dimmer and dimmer.
My hopes grow thinner and thinner.

Then your words fall like acid rain.
Drowning me as I offer my reply.
Won't you love me? Why won't you try?
My hope's light is extinguished.
And im blind in all my pain.

Im no longer a person just your disease.
Leeching on to your words.
Trying to find solid substance.
Starving from the lack of truth, the lack of sincerity.
Finding only a thirst that will never cease.

Sweep me away.
You'll love me another day.
