Bio:

The quiet and solemn hired gun known as Priest is a well known and respected figure in the Merc and bounty hunter circles. Cool and collected under fire, known for pulling many gutsy and wiley manuevers. he's been considered one of the best people to get for a heavy combat intensive mission, or job, as well as one of the best guys to have on your side in a fight, since he always believes in guarding everyone's backs when he's with a group. Many mercs look up to him; some even want to be like him. Priest however, would rather that no one walk in his shoes. He has way too much to regret.

People think that Priest was born on Corellia, but he was originally born on Earth. He is also Force-sensitive, and was already training in the Lucasian Jedi Academy by the age of 4. Rather quickly he befriend another young student named Peter Winterwood, and the two would forge a strong bond. His teachers noticed quickly that he had a great affinity for learning the body control skills of the Force, and felt he would mostly likely be a very formidible Knight in terms of shear combat ability.

As he grew into his teen years, his love for the combat arts grew, and he picked up the basics for lightsabre combat very quickly. His mentors were pleased with his choice of focusing his learning in the defensive style of Form III, as they felt that he was picking that up to learn how to be a more sedate, passive Jedi who will defend first before attacking, but the real reason he focused on that was because of it's great defensive techniques in combat. He also focused his attention on Form V, the more offensive, power style, as well as Form I, because he liked it's simple, no nonsense approach to things. He also learned all he could about blasters, not only how to negate them, but also their many uses, the different types, and their proper application in combat situations. He and Peter would share many an intense sparring match, the latter using more finesse in his style than his peer.

Priest also felt as he got older that Jedi needed to take a more active role in what was going on in the galaxy, particularly in the Outer Fringes, where anarchy and Darkside warriors sill reined. He also didn't like the more conservitive views and teachings that the Lucasian Order was known for, something that greatly disturbed his Jedi Master. What disturbed him even more was Priest's growing insistance that there could be some good uses for Darkside techniques during a battle. As the young padawan got older, the arguments between him and his master became more and more frequent.

Things would finally come to a head durring a mission near the edges of the galaxy. They were sent on a mission to help protect a certain Federation agent who was busy reporting on a planetary war there, but had been caught in a heavy battle and was wounded, as well as left without any way to get off-planet, as her ship was badly damaged. She was hiding out in a city that was under seige. The Jedi Master and his now rather headstrong apprentice were able to reach her relatively quickly, but Priest was appalled by the damage the war had caused, as well as the atrocities that were being commited by one of the sides fighting. He insisted that they should do something about it, but the Master harshly reminded him that their mission was to protect the agent, not take part in the conflict, in a planet where they had no juristiction. Shortly after, another battle took place, and the invading army swarmed through, indiscriminately killing everyone, men women, and children, while looting the place. Priest could take no more, and leapt into the frey, slaughtering soldiers left and right. His Master, shocked, chased after him. He commanded his student to come back at once, and Priest, angry that his master would just let this continue without fighting back, instantly attacked him in a rage. His master, while very skilled in Form III, was taken aback by the sheer power of the youth, and was soon knocked out rather harshly. Priest then without a look behind him ran off into the battle. When his master came too, his apprentice was gone, along with the carnage and the invaders. Apparently, thanks to the raging young lad, the defenders were able to repel them.

The master and many other Lucasian Jedi would later try to look for him, but there was no sign of the padawan. The Order's Elders would soon give him up for lost....

But out in the fringes a young man was making a name for himself. Calling himself Storm Rider, he and a small group of Force-sensitive warriors, naming themselves Storm's Wrath, were raising hell in Sith and Dark Jedi dominated lands, as well as war torn planets ruled by tyrants. He didn't care where he was fighting: if there was some cruel oppressor somewhere, and there was a war being fought against them, he would be there, fighting alongside the rebels. He and his group soon grew in reputation, skills and conquests, and they were soon being called from one fringe planet to another.

And all the while, he grew steadily darker. His love for toppeling these regimes increased, as well as his love for intense combat. He dabbled in and learned many Darkside techniques from the few dark Jedi that he would run across, some on his side, some not. The ones against him he finished off, while a few of those that were his alies ended up joining him. Priest didn't mind their company at all by this time. He felt that there was something to be said for walking on the Darkside... there was just something about crushing enemies....

There was a major world war raging on the planet Orlon 10, where a sith regime was being toppled. A few Dark Jedi notified Storm's Wrath, and they were soon in the midst of the fracas, fighting alongside them. Priest, still called Storm Rider, had become and eexpect in commando style runs, and was able to deliver victory after victory with small group of battle hardened men and women. Their enemy was pretty strong, but he felt they had a good chance of winning this war.

But one later infiltraition mission to a major stronghold brought him a great shock; while workinging his way in, he found himself face to face with his old friend; Peter Winterwood. The young student had become a Jedi Knight, and he, along with other Knights, were fighting for the enemy!

The two froze when their eyes met, not sure what to do. But instead of outright attacking, Peter told his peers to lower their weapons, as he wanted to talk to his old friend.

Peter explained to his shocked old classmate that he and his group weren't really fighing against an evil Sith lord. Rather, they were going up against a peacefull ruler who had ties with the Sith Lord Mal'Kith, who despite being a darkside warrior was a rather honerable man, and a friend of the Jedi Knight Baal Legato. When word of this got out to the Dark Lord, he sent what troops he could. Baal happened to have been there at the time, and told some of his old friends about it, one of them being Peter's old master. They soon decided to lend a hand, and Peter was one of those who decided to come along. They would arrive on the plaent to find out that several Dark Jedi were there to try to take over, and were the ones responsible for starting the war.

Storm Rider was furious that he had been duped, and was determined to wipe out the Dark Jedi who tricked him, But Peter told him to stand down. He was worried about his friend, who had obviously been turned to the Darkside, and wanted to hopefully bring him back to Earth to hopefully bring him back. But Storm Rider would have none of it. He refused to go back to what he called, "a collection of fake protectors".

Just then shots were fired. The Dark Jedi forces that Priest was working with charged in. Apparently they had planed to come in right after Priest did, and never bothered to tell him, thinkng to use him as a quick diversion. In a rage, he charged into them, his men loyally following, and the Jedi as well.

The battle was terrible, and in the end, it was down to two dark Jedi, both highly skilled. Storm Rider told his men to stand down, and that hey and the Jedi would handle this. The new battle was joined, but it would bring about tradedy. As good as Peter Winterwood was, he was cut down by the scarlet blade of his opponent, to the anguish of his old friend.

Feelings of intense greif soon turned into wrathfull waves of revenge as he plowed into the Dark warriors. While he ended up being wounded, he soon brought them low. He then ran over to his dying friends side. With his last breath, Peter told him to turn back to the Jedi path, before closing his eyes forever.

The battle had been won, and two of the Dark Jedi who had started this war were finished. But so was Storm Rider's best friend.

He would later give the Jedi all the informtion he knew about the Dark Jedi's stronghold, which was put to great use when later they, as well as Storm's Wrath, were able to take it down. But the one called Storm Rider had lost his love of the fight. All he could think of was how he let down his best friend.

He would soon disband Storm's Wrath and disappear into seclusion, to meditate on his life and the things he had done. Because of all that happened, he felt he could never consider himself a Jedi , or even try to walk that path again....

... but wars were still raging on...

... and people still were being oppressed.

He would soon reappear in the galaxy again, dressed in the ruined robe of his dead friend, this time as a non-descript mercenary. He would only be hired if the cause was a good one in his eyes, and he would peform his duties as profesionally as he could. He would also talk to the younger soldiers and hired guns he would come into contact and fight alongside with, sometimes teaching them the things they needed to survive, as well as try to instill in them some sense of honor. He would warn them of the dangers of being battle hungry, and how one should know what one is fighting for; if it's worth it. Otherwise, he was known to be silent and keep to himself. An old grizzled Merc who knew him from his Storm Rider days began to call him Preist because of this, and the name stuck.

Priest is still working as a mercenary, making sure that he is fighting agianst those who would do ill. While he would prefer to use his blasters in a fight, he still weilds his lightsabre, rebuilt with parts and gems from Peter's weapon. His level of experience is well known and highly spoken of, and the more benevolent mercs say he is a good guy and a man of principle. But they also know that he is one who carries a heavy past on his shoulders, a past he doens't seem to want to leave behind anytime soon.
