Now for a special edition of The Daily Rant: By Zer0
It is now official. The day has finally come, which I have expected and dreaded since the day The Daily Rant was created: we have been blocked by Barbers Hill Independent School District. It turns out, as a matter of fact, that the people who taught us our skills that helped us create this website have complained that we are disrespectful to teachers on our website and that it should be blocked so that other people don't get to hear us. Well listen here
grandma! Maybe back in the days of the pioneers, when you taught in the one-roomed school outside of the cabbage patch you might have been able to phase us. But the fact of the matter is that if you can't handle opinions, or what I like to call constructive criticism what makes you smart enough to be teaching children in school anyhow? All that does is teach people not to have opinions; to be robots. We don't
express our opinions to these people's faces, nor do we
identify them directly. People come to the website to see our opinions. We make it as entertaining as possible, including censorship (which I regret), and it is purely optional who reads what we do. Teachers always try to teach us to think for ourselves and express ourselves, and when we try to do it they shut us out. They don't want hear what we have to say. But what if other people want to? Just turn your head and have a [expletive-deleted] eskimo pie! If you don't like what you see, then just click off and go somewhere else. This takes away from our free speech and supports the abolition of opinions alltogether. If you can't handle other people's opinions, then maybe you can at least take some advice. Let other people see it. Others enjoy this thing and it is fun. We're not 13 anymore. Just about every person who reads this can walk intoa rated R movie, no questions asked. And that's much worse than what
we have. We're being taken off because you want to hush our opinions, but it's not gonna work. When students are able to access porn on the school computers(yes, I see that often), but not be able to read the opinions of another student, then there is something definitely wrong with the system. So [expletive-deleted] the system and [expletive-deleted] your censors because we will never die. And if we do, at least we made an impact and a fool out of all the people who offended us. Of course, it does bring to
mind one little question: if our opinions don't matter, then why should your opinion about the portrayal of teachers we give off matter? Of course that's just my opinion, and you will probably just block it out.
