I'm sure everybody has heard by now what exactly happened in Afghanistan yesterday. You know what I think? It's about [expletive-deleted] time! These days we've absolutely obliterated the idea of war. We haven't had us a good war in a long time, and although war brings many insecurities and many casualties, in the aftermath we are always brought to a great closure and a grander day. Look how much we've accomplished since the days of the gulf war. And what about World War 2? We came up with more developments during that war than we ever had at any given limited time frame. And Vietnam ended the draft. It showed us that the draft was completely useless. War always brings us new developments and helps us to learn from our mistakes. Not to mention that our tax dollars are going to pay for these millions of soldiers that don't even go into active duty. It's about time we utilized our military a little bit and show those Afghanies that we can still smother them with that red, white, and blue banner. Of course with the ongoing and forecoming battles we are facing, we will also face our own hardships at home. Tell me this: would you like to make a few sacrifices so that future generations don't have to live in fear of terrorism? And so that once again, the world can live in relative peace, would you give a little? I would. The truth of the matter is there will always be bad people. There's no way to stop that. But if we can keep these people from gaining power and prosperity, by using war tactics to get rid of who we already have in power and by completely obliterating any way for them to come to power and by scaring those with any ideas of some kinds of villainous coup de tat into simply forgetting about anything and everything to do with such an idea, then the world would be a much better place. Now alot of people, even though they claim to be patriotic, are saying that Bush was being irresponsible and not thinking clearly. I think Bush knew exactly what he was doing and he was just enforcing what needs to be enforced. He's getting back the Afghans and he's doing exactly what America needs to be known as Gods amongst men. Of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.
