Recently I applied for my SAT test. I got mine in early. The same exact day as Happy. I talked to them about it, because it is coming up in less than two weeks. Now, not only has he gotten his ticket in already, but my friend who applied late has also. That made me rather mad, because it's either the SAT board or it's the mail system. I'd like to think the latter. Now I don't wanna get off on a rant here, but the mail system these days is more [expletive-deleted] up than a crack-head on special k. Now, I live in a community that mostly relies on the post office, but when I moved here some three years ago, there was none left, so I was stuck with a mailbox at my house. I've noticed that not only does my mail run slower than the pony express during nuclear winter, but half the time either my mail ends up at somebody elses house or somebody else's ends up at mine. That just delays things even longer. What happens if there's something that absolutely needs to be at my house at a specific time, but it's not there? What if my SAT ticket comes in a week after the test? What if I'm diagnosed with a terminal illness? What if I won Bill Gates' hoard of million dollar bills and I have to reply within 24 hours or my money goes to Micheal Jacksons skin bleach fund? It's ridiculous. Listen people, the point of the modern day mail system was to speed up what was once a long, snail-like affair. Seems like in some parts of the world it hasn't changed a thing, just worsened. So here's my solution, we fly a plane over-head in various parts of the country and just drop everybody's mail in the sky, because God knows it'll probably find it's way to my house much faster that way. Of course that's just my opinion, if you can oppose that, mail me.
