Wednesday night I had a religious experience. Now I'm not a religious person, and I don't pretend to be. But when my friend asks me to accompany him for undisclosed purposes, I'll be more than happy to. The first think that I noticed when I walked in is that the place is decorated with wheels, like I was walking into Discount Tire Co. The place was also set up like it was a bar. Pool tables and all. It even had black lights. Then came the good part. Several people I know personally, pretending to worship Jesus and praying and saying that certain things shouldn't be done. When surely enough when they left, they were doing the things they were preaching against. Now I don't wanna get off on a rant here, but going to church these days is like walking into Dante's version of Hell right into the circle of liars. These so called religious types trying to make things fun by making church seem like a scene straight out of an Eddie Murphy movie, and people coming in to "worship God" and pick up members of the opposite sex. Next thing you know they'll be producing a new, "updated" version of the bible, whereas rather speaking in old english tones, you have God speaking like Master P and you have Jesus talking like 2Pac. Then you have Adam and Eve replaced with John and Yoko. It's ridiculous. The christian religion has gotten to the point that it's embarrassing. When you need to do these things to gain followers, it's like tempting the devil into church himself, just to raise attendance and offering.
