Well, well, well kiddies. Here in the recent weeks, the school has shown it's hypocrisy once again. Listen to my little story: the school, in one of it's weak attempts to exploit the right to censor anything and everything from the students has soiled their own shorts. And guess who has to pay for their little problem? The students. Recently the entire school's network was overtaken by a virus. At first they thought it was a student who downloaded a viral game to the computers. How wrong they were! It turns out that the real culprit was the school's technology department. They were downloading the latest block files for surfwatch, which turned out to be viral themselves. This in turn began to screw with the schools systems and they had to clean the whole thing out. And guess who is blocked form having recreational use on the computers now? The students. They see this as the best way, in my opinion at least, to keep students from messing around during class. It's not going to stop it though. Students are going to keep on getting on the computers and playing games and showing the system that they can't "expletive-deleted" with our "expletive-deleted"! It's completely wrong that the students should be punished for something that the technology department did to themselves. I guess they are trying to throw us into the stereotype of adults being smarter than students. That's completely wrong because I know more than two-thirds of the teachers in our school. I think the technology department should be responsible for their own actions and not try to say that since they can't do something right that we can't. So here's a wakeup call to everybody in the school and in the school system, do what you want on the computers. When it comes to technology in our schools do anything and everything. I want anarchy on the internet. There should be no governing of it in the first place. So in my welcome back speech I'd like to end by saying Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.
