Alright, you know the bet...hot popular guy goes for the loser girl, or hot popular girl goes for the nerd all on the basis of a bet amongst popular friends just to make fun of the unpopular ones. And more than likely, it won't turn out like in the movies. The hot girl/guy doesn't fall in love with the nerd/loser, most of the time. This is the best way to define "expletive-deleted" flirtation. And if you haven't figured out what the "expletive-deleted" is, it starts with "bull" and ends with "it". It's a flirtation that has not intention of going anywhere. It just is there to make one person think one way while the person flirting really doesn't want anything, they're just there flirting...I guess just sharpening their skills. This type of flirtation is somewhat detectable depending on who you are and how well the other person is at it, and it takes the appearance of all the other forms of flirtation.
