This is what you'd call a give/take thing. Neither person is too aggressive nor too passive. Commonly refered to as the not-getting-any relationship. Although this is more or less a relationship that is wanted after college when you try to start a family, some people in school want this. Kudos to the people that can make it work, but I don't see how anyone would have time to pull this on off in school. Maybe it has something to do with the availability of people and types of relationships that creates this type of flirtation. Generally talk about future plans and areas of deep interests are found in this type of flirting. Some people don't even look at this as a type of flirting, but more as cassual conversation. However, if you can giggle and be all smiles talking about your career choice and why you chose it, then I'm pretty sure that qualifies for a type of flirtation. So next time you start a conversation with someone whom might like you, you see if they flirt in such a way that you can only tell by looking in their eyes and watching their body language, then you'll know for sure, beyond the shadow of a doubt, you should persue the next step.
