Sorry if it makes sense to you, I don't mean to offend you, but is it really neccissery to make students wake up early on a Saturday to go take a boring test for three hours while half asleep??? If the whole argument is on having enough time to sleep and a good night's sleep, then why not let students sleep without sacrificing their night life? If you want a good night's sleep, go out have the most awesome time in the world doing something with people you have fun with wherever you go, stumble in your house abuot one or two, crawl in bed and sleep till noon. But the oh-so-intelligent people on the College Board, want you to kill your Friday night, turn in at around eight just so you can lie there til the boredom finally sets in at eleven thirty or so only to wake up the next day somewhere around seven to be at a test site at eight. Then you stand there for about thirty minutes or so napping on and off against the wall while they figure out if you are registared there or not. Then you get escorted like a mob to a room that has a temperature of fifty-five degrees. Sit down and wait for the late arrivals, another fifteen minutes, fill in the bubble sheet that has your name, address, and more useless "expletive-deleted" than found in one hundred pounds of baby poo, which only takes another fifteen minutes. By this time, it's nearing the nine thirty mark and you just begin to hear the first instructions on the begining of a three hour long test. Now to recap: three hour test, fourty-five minutes of waiting, fifteen minutes of filling in little bubble to tell them things they already know about you, two five minute breaks, and about thirty minutes of instructions for the whole test. So by the time you come out, you've spent about four hours and fourty minutes there and it's just a little after noon. The way I see it, we as students should have the right to choose morning or evening tests. If we want to have fun on Friday night, then by God, we will. So let the test start at one and end at five or six, I wouldn't care if it lasted till seven, cause I'll still have the night and I go to sleep till noon! But that's just this night-life-day-sleeper's opinion, the light might be blinding me.
