When you're thirteen you become a teenager. Typically when you turn fourteen, you become a freshman in high school. When fifteen, you get you're learner's permit and look forward to a year from now when you get to drive by yourself. Then, ahh yes...glorious sixteen...the car all to yourself. So what is up with being seventeen??? I mean, come on, how "G" "A" "Y" is being able to be tried as an adult yet not have any adult privileges? I personally believe that this is the biggest display of hypocrisy I've ever seen in my life. Well, that and maybe when the Soviet Union fell. That's about as stupid as someone getting punished if they get a "B" and not getting anything if they get an "A". Not only is it unjust to give punishment to someone without letting them reap the benefits of their actions, it's "expletive-deleted" near obnoxious. Pretty much, it's just a government setup to try and set you up. Because you're no longer a juvenille, and you're not legally an adult, but you can be tried as one...make a lot of sense none to me. Then you know what happens at eighteen. Voting, smoking, purchasing of lighters and fluid, nudy bars, but no alcohol...not just yet. Age nineteen sees about as much prestige as age three. You get nothing but what you've already gotten, and you have to wait two more years for almost everything to be at your disposal. Twenty is pretty much just like nineteen, but only a year left to wait. The down part to even being twenty-one is that you don't even have access to everything. But that's just my beer goggles opinion...I just might have had toooooooo much to drink. Maaayybe........ZZzzz...ZZzzz...
