In today's modern technological world of laziness, few things are true through and through. One thing that has always in my mind is supposed to be true and counted on day in and day out was a person's word. Now in this wonderful world, we sub come to the pits of slime and become the descendants of Cain showing no trust what so ever in anything or anyone short of the consistency of a computer. What is the point of saying something if you don't mean it??? When we are young, we count on our parents to be there and we trust their every word, but as we grow in this world, we find out that not everyone out there is going to help you. In fact, the vast majority of people I know I can't trust. But this in itself leads to the development of a person. With experiences of mistrust and deception, most teens keep their real thoughts inside such as not to expose them to the wrong individuals. These people are everywhere, but with a keen eye, and some unfortunate experience, you'll learn to spot these people within minutes of knowing them. The key is not to judge everyone and have the right amount of patience to notice when trust is taken for granted. No one is perfect so forgive at least twice...cause the third time might be the charm. It's like a saying I've heard, "Cross me once, your fault. Cross me twice, my fault. Cross me three times...that's it." I'm not telling you to go out and blame someone for extraordinary circumstances that they have no control over. I'm just saying that you should know people before you trust them with what you plan to take to the grave. Let some little ones go and make sure the big promises are kept. Bottom line...trust in yourself to trust someone, then and only then should you trust them. I've been there before and been "expletive-deleted" over. So if it happens to you, you're not alone. But it's just my life, not yours.
