Today in the school that I call my own, I witnessed discrimination at its finest. You see, I'm not what you would call a popular person, and neither are my friends for that matter. Now I'm not trying to put you down, guys, I'm just stating the facts. In today's events, a certain few of my friends were nominated for positions on the Homecoming staff(they were nominated to drive the golf carts). It appeared to me and the rest of them, that when the run-offs were held, someone took them off the list. Not being popular has a lot of advantages, especially when you are known but not known. Talking to several people after the voting was over led us to believe that it was the sponsor that swiped their names off the ballots. This came to us as no suprise because we are used to all the school's "expletive-deleted". But on a happier note, we will actually have a future and not flop soon out of college because we are alcoholics who just care what people think of us. But that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.
