Donna Lorian Gaetani dell' Aquila d' Aragona Lovatelli dei duchi di Laurenzana, née dei baroni Franchetti died in Rome on 11 January.

John Simon Baskerville Cadwallader Hopton died on 30 January 2010. He had been married since 1959 to Julia Diana Spencer Bernard (1936-2001), of the Dukes of Marlborough. He is survived by a son and a daughter. Another son died in 2007. (added 16 May 2010)

The engagement was announced between Prince Valerio Massimo di Roccasecca, eldest son of the Prince and Princess Massimo di Roccasecca dei Volsci, of London and Rome, Italy, and Alexandra Owens, daughter of Mr and Mrs Ronald Alexander Owens, of Geneva, Switzerland. Count Louis Fouché d'Otrante died in Stockholm on 3 November.

 

[He was a lawyer by profession and lived in Stockholm. He was born on March 5th 1917, as the second son of the 6th Duke d'Otrante and his wife, née countess Madeleine Douglas. He leaves behind his wife Birgitta and two daughters, Madeleine, and Marie - married to Prince Philipp of Solms-Hohensolms-Lich. [She was born in 1908, daughter of Count Don Eugenio dei principi di Porcia e di Brugnera and of Silvia dei conti di Porcia e di Brugnera, and married in 1937 Nobile Fabio Beretta, Conte di Colugna e di Lauzacco (1905-1970). He was son of Gabriel, 8th Duc de Praslin, and of Maria Cagninacci. Prince Artur Mikolaj Radziwill (son of Prince Maciej Mikolaj Antoni Maria Radziwill and of his wife, née Ewa Szcyypek) and his wife, née Sylwia Maria Thomas had their first child, Konstancja Maria, at Neuilly-sur-Seine on 13 March. (added 16 Mar 2010)

 

Prince Albert Hieronymus Mikolaj Radziwill died at Warsaw on 19 May.

 

[He was born at Zegrze on 14 July 1931, son of Prince Konstanty Radziwill (1902-1944) and of Maria Zoltawska (1905-1999). Since 195 he had been married to Princess Anna Czartoryska (daughter of Prince Roman Czartoryski and of Countess Tereza Zamoyska). Suzanne Marie-Adèle, Dowager Duchess of St Albans, née Fesq, in Newbury on 12 February 2010.
