[Donna Francesca was the daughter of Donna Maria Augusta dei Conti Bonmartini and of Onorevole Professor Sabato (Sabatino) Visco, Director of the Institute of General Physiology, University of Rome, and Director of the National Institute of Biology on the National Research Council [himself the son of Donna Merope del Mercato dei Baroni di Rutino e Monteforte, and grandson of Donna Maria Antonia (Antonietta) del Mercato Pacelli di Leo Sanseverino, 10th Duchessa of San Donato (suo iure)].  Donna Francesca  married on 25th July 1951 (as his second wife) Don Gioacchino Granito Pignatelli,12th Principe di Belmonte, 13th Duca di Acerenza, 13th Marchese di Galatone, etc (1913-1982). She was widow of Don Pio dei marchesi Theodoli (1912-1999), son of Don Clemente dei marchesi Theodoli (1878-1956) and of Donna Giulia dei Duchi Braschi-Onesti (1885-1957).She is survived by an only son, Don Giovanni Angelo (b.1942), who bears the surname Theodoli-Braschi, as heir of the Ducal House Braschi, by adoption in 1965 from his uncle, Don Marcello Braschi, last of his family. Princess Hubert de Broglie, née Marie Isabelle Françoise de Solages, died in October. She was born at Toulouse on 2 February 1917 and married Prince Hubert de Broglie (1903-1972) in 1949. She is survived by their four children, and grandchildren. (added 23 Oct 2008)

 

Henri Comte de Galard Terraube died on 16 December.
