Archduke Georg of Austria and his wife Duchess Eilika of Oldenburg had their first child, Archduchess Zsofia Mária Tatjana Monika Erzsébet Katalin of Austria, born in Budapest on January 12th.

Archduke Andreas Salvator of Austria (second son of the late Archduke Hubert Salvator of Austria and of Princess Rosemary of Salm-Salm) married secondly Countess Valerie Podstatzky-Lichtenstein in January or February.
[She is the only daughter and youngest child of Christoph, Count Podstatzky-Lichtenstein and of Lydia Weinheim and she was born in Grieskirchen on January 12th, 1967. Archduke Andreas Salvator had been divorced from his first wife María de la Piedad Espinosa de los Monteros y Rosillo.]

Christian Witt v.Dörring, husband of Eleonore Gräfin v.Meran, died at Vienna on 2 February.

Archduchess Margherita of Austria and her husband, Benedikt Graf v.Piatti had a daughter, Christiana, born at Vienna on 1 March.

Baroness Sarah von Kottwitz-Erdödy (second and youngest daughter of Baron Alexander von Kottwitz-Erdödy and of Archduchess Maria Alberta of Austria) and her husband Gunhard Keil von Bündten had their first child, Wenzel Alexander Josef Maria Urso Lukas Keil von Bündten, born in Graz, Austria on March 19th.

Prince Stephan v.Altenburg (b.20 Aug 1971) and his wife, Katharina Frn Mayr v.Melnhof-Saurau, had a daughter, Maria Elisabeth, born at Vienna on 24 March.

Princess Rosemary of Salm-Salm (second daughter of the late Hereditary Prince Emanuel of Salm-Salm and of the late Archduchess Maria Christina of Austria and widow of Archduket Huber Salvator of Austria) died at Schloss Persenbeug, Lower-Austria on May 3rd.

Archduke Sigismund of Austria, Grand Duke of Tuscany (eldest son of Archduke Leopold of Austria [former Grand Duke of Tuscany] and of his first wife Laetitia de Belzunce d'Arenberg) and his wife Elyssa Juliet (of the barontes) Edmonstone had their first child, Archduke Leopold Amadeo Peter Ferdinand Archibald Henri Joseph of Austria, born in Glasgow, Scotland on May 9th.

Margareta Sandhofer (second child and eldest daughter of Friedrich Sandhofer and of Archduchess Elisabeth of Austria) and her husband Ernst Lux had their second child, Dorian Augustinus Maria Lux, born in Vienna on May 12th.

Helmut Rothwangl (son of Hans Rothwangl and of Melitta Bayer and husband of Countess Katharina von Meran) died in Vienna in May 26th.
[His widow, Countess Katharina von Meran, is the second daughter of the late Count Johann Karl von Meran and of Ingrid Messner and a descendant of Archduke Johann of Austria (1782-1958) and of his morganatic wife Anna Plochl, who was created Baroness von Brandhofen in 1834 and Countess von Meran in 1845.]

Countess Veronika von Habsburg (third and youngest child and only daughter of the late Archduke Heinrich of Austria and of the late Maria Karoline Ludescher died in Salzburg, Austria on 29 June.

Archduchess Margaretha Valerie of Austria (daughter of Archduke Franz Salvator of Austria and of the late Hedwig Lichem von Löwenburg) married Andreas Baumgartner on August 4th at Maria Taferl.

Countess Isabelle von Waldstein (fourth child of Count Clemens von Waldstein and of Archduchess Josepha of Austria) married Count Philipp von Meran in Retz, Austria on September 8th.
[He is the eldest son of Count Maximilian von Meran and of Princess Colienne of Schwarzenberg and he was born in Innsbruck, Austria on August 2nd, 1962.]

Prince Maximilian von Hohenberg (second son of Duke Georg von Hohenberg (himself the son of Duke Maximilian von Hohenberg, son of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria and his wife, Sophie Gräfin Chotek, Duchess von Hohenberg) and of his wife, Princess Eleonore von Auersperg) and his wife, Emilia Oliva, had their first child, Nicolas, in November.

Archduke Guntram of Austria (son of Archduke Leopold Franz of Austria and of his first wife, Laetitia de Belzunce- d'Arenberg) and his wife, née Debora de Sola, had their fiirst child, a daughter, Anna Faustina,on 28 December.
 

BADEN

Princess Marie Louise of Baden (eldest child and only daughter of Maximilian, Margrave of Baden and of Archduchess Valerie of Austria) and her husband Richard Dudley Baker had their first child, Sofia Baker, born in Alamosa, Colorado, USA on March 10th.

Hereditary Prince Bernhard of Baden (eldest son of Max, Margrave of Baden and of Archduchess Valerie of Austria) married Stephanie Kaul in a civil ceremony at Salem castle, Germany on June 22nd. A religious ceremony took place at Salem castle on June 23rd.
[She is a daughter of Christian Kaul and she was born around 1967.]
 

BAVARIA

Prince Alexander Alfons Eugen Viktor Ludwig Adalbert Michael Antonius of Bavaria (second and youngest son of the late Prince Adalbert of Bavaria and of the late Countess Augusta von Seefried auf Buttenheim died in Munich on May 6th.
 

BELGIUM

Princess Esmeralda of Belgium (second and youngest daughter of the late Leopold III, King of the Belgians and of his second wife Mary Lilian Baels) and her husband Salvador Moncada had their second child, Leopoldo Daniel Moncada, born at The Portland Hospital in London on May 21st.

Prince Philippe of Belgium, Duke of Brabant (eldest son of Albert II, King of the Belgians and of Donna Paola [dei principi] Ruffo di Calabria) and his wife Jonkvrouw Mathilde d'Udekem d'Acoz had their first child, Princess Elisabeth Thérèse Marie Hélène of Belgium, born at the Erasmus hospital in Anderlecht, Belgium on October 25th.
 

BRAZIL

Princess Maria Pia of Orléans and Bragança (eldest daughter of Prince Pedro de Alcantara of Orléans and Bragança and of Maria de Fátima Baptista de Oliveira Lacerda Rocha) married Rodrigo Octávio Broglia Mendes at the church Nossa Senhora da Glória do Outeiro in Rio de Janeiro on August 25th.
[He is a son of Antônio Carlos Mendes and of Sônia Maria Broglia. The engagement was announced in February.]
 

BULGARIA

Alexandra Nadejda Chrobok (daughter of Bronislaw Chrobok and of Princess Marie-Louise of Bulgaria) married Jorge Champalimaud Raposo de Magalhães at the Igreja de Santo António in Estoril, Portugal on September 7th.

Prince Kyrill of Bulgaria (second son of Simeon II, King of the Bulgarians [presently prime-minister of Bulgaria] and of Margarita Gómez-Acebo y Cejuela and his wife Rosario Nadal y Fuster-Puigdorfila are expecting their third child.
 

DENMARK

Renée Doursenot (daughter of the late Maurice Doursenot and of the late Marguerite Gay and widow of her second husband André de Laborde de Montpezat) died in Albas near Cahors, Lot, France on Febuary 11th.
[She had been divorced from her first husband Louis Leuret. She was the mother of Henri de Laborde de Monpezat, who became Henrik, Prince of Denmark, the husband of Margrethe II, Queen of Denmark.]

Countess Josephine af Rosenborg (daughter of Count Christian af Rosenborg [former Prince Christian of Denmark] and of Anne-Dorthe Maltoft-Nielsen) and her husband Thomas Schmidt had their first child, a son named Julius Christian Emil, in Copenhagen on December 1st.
 

FRANCE (BONAPARTE)

Wladimir de Witt (ninth child of the late Serge de Witt and of the late Princess Clotilde Napoléon) and his second wife Françoise Martin-Flory had their fourth child [together], Igor de Witt, born in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Hauts-de-Seine, France on January 6th.

François de Montaudouïn and his wife Alexandra de Witt (eldest daughter of Baudouin de Witt [sixth child of the late Sergej de Witt and of the late Princess Clotilde Napoléon] and of Isabelle de Rocca-Serra) had their third child, Thaïs de Montaudoüin, born in Paris on January 27th.

Constantin Laan (eldest son of Remmert Laan and of Isabelle de Witt [herself the seventh child of the late Serge de Witt and of the late Princess Clotilde Napoléon]) will marry Damasia Stocker-Rakolczay.
[The engagement was announced in February.]
 

FRANCE (ORLÉANS)

Prince Charles-Louis of Orléans, Duke of Chartres (eldest son of Prince Jacques of France, Duke of Orléans and of Gersende de Sabran-Pontevès [of the dukes de Sabran]) and his wife Ileana Manos had their third child, Princess Hélène of Orléans, born on January 24th.

Count Evrard de Limburg Stirum (eldest son of the late Count Thierry de Limburg Stirum and of Princess Marie-Immaculée of Croÿ and husband of Princess Hélène of France) died in Brussels on March 5th.

Prince Eudes of France, Duke of Angoulême (third and youngest son of Henri, Count of Paris and of his first wife Duchess Marie-Therese of Württemberg, Duchess of Montpensier) and his wife Marie-Liesse de Rohan-Chabot (of the dukes de Rohan) had their first child, Princess Thérèse of Orléans, born in Cannes, France on April 23rd.

Count Bruno de Limburg-Stirum (third and youngest son of the late Count Evrard de Limburg-Stirum and of Princess Hélène of France) and his wife Countess Christine de Lannoy had their third child, Count Achille de Limburg-Stirum, born in March.
 

GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND

Ronald Scrivener (b.1919, son of Sir Patrick Scrivener and of his wife, née Marjorie Dorling) died in London on 5 March.
[He had married in 1962 Mary Alice Sophia Jane Lane (daughter of Robert Charlton Lane and of his wife, née Olga Fitzgeorge [herself a granddaughter of Prince George of Great Britain, Duke of Cambridge]).]
 

HANNOVER

Princess Sophie of Hannover (born Princess of Greece and Denmark, daughter of Prince Andrew and of Princess Alice of Battenberg), widow of Prince Christoph of Hesse and wife of Prince Georg Wilhelm of Hannover, died at Neuhaus bei Schliersee, Upper Bavaria, on 24 November.
 

HOHENZOLLERN

Prince Hubertus of Hohenzollern (son of Prince Johann Georg of Hohenzollern and of Princess Birgitta of Sweden) and his wife Ute Maria König had their first child, Prince Lennart of Hohenzollern, born in Munich on January 10th. Prince Lennart died in Munich on January 14th.

Prince Godehard-Friedrich Karl Anton Heinrich Albrecht Joseph Ernst Egon Hermann Johann Georg Rudolf Tassilo Benedikt of Hohenzollern (fifth and youngest child and only son of the late Prince Albrecht von Hohenzollern and of the late Ilse Margot von Friedeburg and husband of Heide Hansen) died on May 21st.

Prince Ferdinand of Hohenzollern (son of Friedrich Wilhelm, Prince of Hohenzollern and of the late Princess Margarita of Leiningen) and his wife Countess Ilona Kálnoky de Köröspatak are expecting their second child.

Prince Albrecht of Hohenzollern (second son of Friedrich Wilhelm, Prince of Hohenzollern and of the late Princess Margarita of Leiningen) married Nathalie Rocabado de Viets in Rome in September.
 

ITALY

Princess Marie José of Belgium (only daughter of the late Albert I, King of the Belgians and of the late Duchess Elisabeth in Bavaria and widow of Umberto II, King of Italy) died at the Hôpital Cantonal in Geneva, Switzerland on January 27th.

Princess Mafalda of Savoy-Aosta (second and youngest daughter of Prince Amadeo of Savoy-Aosta, Duke of Aosta and of his first wife Princess Claude of France) and her companion Nobile Francesco Lombardo di San Chirico had their second child, Carlo Ferrante Gennaro Antonio Francesco Lombardo di San Chirico, born in Milan, Italy on January 28th.

Princess Mafalda of Savoy-Aosta (second and youngest daughter of Prince Amadeo of Savoy-Aosta, Duke of Aosta and of his first wife Princess Claude of France) married secondly Nobile Francesco Lombardo di San Chirico in a civil ceremony in London on April 27th.
[She had been divorced from her first husband Don Alessandro (dei principi) Ruffo di Calabria.]

Princess Bianca of Savoy-Aosta (eldest daughter of Prince Amadeo of Savoy-Aosta, Duke of Aosta and of his first wife Princess Claude of France) and her husband Giberto, Count Arrivabene-Valenti-Gonzaga had their fifth child, Leonardo Arrivabene-Valenti-Gonzaga, born in Conegliano, Italy on October 5th.

Princess Lucia of Bourbon-Sicily (fourth daughter of the late Ferdinando, Duke of Calabria and of the late Princess Maria of Bavaria and widow of Prince Eugenio of Savoy-Genoa, Duke of Genoa) died in Sao Paulo, Brazil on November 3rd.
 

LIECHTENSTEIN

Prince Constantin of Liechtenstein (fourth child of the late Prince Johannes of Liechtenstein and of the late Countess Marie Andrássy de Czik-Szent-Király et Krasna-Horka, widower of Maria Elisabeth von Leutzendorff and husband of Countess Ilona Esterházy de Galántha) died in Grabs, Switzerland, on March 28th.

Prince Johannes of Liechtenstein (son of Prince Eugen of Liechtenstein and of Countess Maria-Theresia von Goëss) married Countess Kinga Károlyi de Nagy-Károly in Vienna on May 12th.
[She is a daughter of Count Eduard Károlyi de Nagy-Károly and of Countess Ilona Kendeffy de Malomvíz and she was born in Vienna on October 1st 1973.]

Prinz Maximilian of Liechtenstein (second son of Hans Adam II, Prince of Liechtenstein and of Countess Maria [of the princes] Kinsky und Tettau) and his wife Angela Brown had their first child, Prince Alfons Constantin Maria of Liechtenstein, born in London on May 18th.

Princess Eduarda of Liechtenstein (b.1903, daughter of Prince Eduard of Liechtenstein (1872-1951) and of his wife, Olga Gräfin von Pückler und Limpurg (1873-1966)) died [exact date unknown to me at this time.]
[She had married 1stly in 1922 Viktor Graf von Trauttmansdorff-Weinsberg (1895-1969) and then 2ndly in 1975 Alexander Graf zu Pappenheim (1905-1995). She is survived by two daughters of her first marriage, one son having been killed in the war.]

Theresa Gräfin von Kesselstatt (b.1964, daughter of Franz Graf von Kesselstatt (himself the son of Franz Graf von Kesselstatt and of his wife, Marie Gabrielle Olga Anna Princess von und zu Liechtenstein) and of his wife, Louisette von Laveran-Stieber von Hinzberg) married Philippe Arpels on 18 August.
[She had married firstly in 1987 Gregor Vukmirovic (who has adopted the surname "Mirow") and divorced him in 1999. She has two children, Philippe Mirow (b.1989) and Gina Mirow (b.1992).]
 
 

LIPPE

Prince Stephan of Lippe (only son of Prince Armin of Lippe and of Traute Becker) and his wife Countess Maria of Solms-Laubach (daughter of the late Otto, Count of Solms-Laubach and of Princess Madeleine of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg) had their fourth child and first daughter, Princess Luise Anna Astrid Christiane Viktoria of Lippe, born at the Detmolder Klinikum in Detmold, Germany on April 16th.

Eva Lippe-Weissenfeld Hamer (daughter of Heyo Hamer and of Princess Margarete of Lippe-Weissenfeld) married Baron Conrad von Mauchenheim genannt Bechtoldsheim in a civil ceremony in Leer, Ostfriesland, Germany on April 20th. A religious ceremony took place in Leer on April 21st.
[He is a son of Baron Franz-Georg von Mauchenheim genannt Bechtoldsheim and of Reinhild Osswald.]

Nikolaus von der Hagen (second and youngest son of Jürgen von der Hagen and of Countess Lilli von Kanitz [herself the sixth and youngest child of the late Count Hans von Kanitz and of Princess Karoline of Lippe]) will marry Maja Poppe.
[She is a daughter of Bernd Poppe and of Maren Helm. The engagement was announced in December 2000.]

Princess Simone zur Lippe-Biesterfeld [née Arnoux, daughter of Henri Arnoux and of Louise, née Lyan, and widow of Prince Ernst Aschwin, brother of Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands] died at The Hague on 21 November.
 

LUXEMBURG

Knud Johan Ludvig, Count Holstein (eldest son of the late Joseph, Count Holstein and of the late Countess Christine Hamilton and husband of Princess Marie Gabrielle of Luxemburg) died on June 25th.
 

MECKLENBURG-SCHWERIN

Friedrich Franz, Hereditary Grand Duke of Mecklenburg (eldest son of the late Friedrich Franz IV, Grand Duke of Mecklenburg in Schwerin and of the late Princess Alexandrine of Hanover and husband of Karin-Elisabeth von Schaper) died in Blankenese near Hamburg, Germany on July 31st.
[He had been divorced from his wife in 1967, but he had remarried her in 1977.]
 

MECKLENBURG-STRELITZ

Ricarda Freiin v.dem Bussche-Ippenburg (b.1978, daughter of Alhard Frhr v.dem Bussche-Ippenburg and of Elisabeth Duchess of Mecklenburg) married Werner Diego v.Bergen. The civil marriage took place on 7 December at Frankfurt/Main. The religious marriage is scheduled to occur at Lüdenscheid on 25 August 2002.
[He is son of Dr. Willwerner von Bergen and Elisabeth Christa von Oertzen]
 

MONACO

Anne Michelle, Baroness de Massy (née Lütken, b.28 Nov 1959, third wife of Baron Christian de Massy, son of Princess Antoinette of Monaco) died in London on 25 November.
 

NETHERLANDS

Prince Maurits of Orange-Nassau (eldest son of Pieter van Vollenhoven and of Princess Margriet of the Netherlands) and his wife Marilène van den Broek had their first child, Anastasia (Anna) Margriet Joséphine van Lippe-Biesterfeld van Vollenhoven, born in Amsterdam on April 15th.

Prince Constantijn of the Netherlands (third and youngest son of Prince Claus of the Netherlands and of Beatrix, Queen of the Netherlands) married Petra Laurentien Brinkhorst in a civil ceremony in The Hague on May 17th. A religious ceremony took place at the Grote or Sint-Jacob's Kerk in The Hague on May 19th.
[She is the second and youngest child and the only daughter of Laurens Jan Brinkhorst, Dutch minister of agriculture, and of Jantien Heringa and she was born in Leiden, The Netherlands on May 25th, 1966. The engagement took place at Huis ten Bosch palace in The Hague on December 16th, 2000.]
 

NORWAY

Crown Prince Haakon Magnus of Norway (only son of Harald V, King of Norway and of Sonja Haraldsen) married Mette-Marit Tjessem Høiby at the Domchurch in Oslo on August 25th.
[She is the fourth and youngest child of Sven Olaf Bjarte Høiby (himself a son of Bjarne Høiby and of Ingrid Tvedt) and of his former wife Marit Tjessem (herself a daughter of Sverre Tjessem and of Brita Fosso and remarried to Rolf Berntsen) and she was born in Kristiansand, Vest-Agder, Norway on August 19th. 1973.]
 

OLDENBURG

Duke Paul-Wladimir of Oldenburg (only son of Duke Friedrich August of Oldenburg and of his first wife Princess Marie-Cecile of Prussia) married María del Pilar Méndez de Vigo y Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg at the Klosterkirche in Bronnbach an der Tauber, Germany on January 20th.
[She is the only daughter of Jaime Méndez de Vigo y del Arco and of Princess Monika of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg. The engagement was announced in October 2000.]
 

PARMA

Princess Victoire of Bourbon of Parma (third and youngest daughter of Prince Michel of Bourbon of Parma and of Princess Yolande de Broglie-Revel) died at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Hauts-de-Seine, France on January 24th.
[She had been divorced from her first husband Baron Ernst von Gecmen-Waldek and she had remarried (in 1993) Carlos Ernesto Rodriguez.]

Gaetano Oehmichen (son of Hans Joachim Oehmichen and of Princess Diana of Bourbon-Parma) and his wife, Julika Reich, had a son, Robert Hans-Joachim Gerhard, in Kiel on 3 March.

Princess Margarita of Bourbon of Parma, Countess of Colorno (eldest daughter of Carlos Hugo, Duke of Parma and of his former wife Princess Irene of the Netherlands) married Edwin Karel Willem de Roy van Zuydewijn in a civil ceremony in Amsterdam on June 19th. A religious ceremony took place in the cathedral of Sainte-Marie in Auch, Gers, France on September 22nd.
[He is a son of Leo de Roy van Zuydewijn and of Wijnanda Eleonore van Gulden and he was born on at Amsterdam on June 19th, 1966.]

Princess Maria of Bourbon-Parma (b.1914, daughter of King Vittorio Emanuele III of Italy and of Princess Elena of Montenegro), widow of Prince Luigi of Bourbon-Parma, died at Mandelieu on 4 December.
 

PORTUGAL

Miguel Maria Bonneville van Uden (son of Nuno Miguel de Bragança van Uden [himself son of Nicolaas van Uden and of his wife, Infanta Maria Adelaide of Portugal]) and his wife, née Ana Mafalda Lopes, had their second child, Maria Ana do Carmen Lopes van Uden, on 16 July.
[Their first child, Miguel Maria, was born on 16 Oct 1997.]
 

PRUSSIA

Prince Philip of Prussia (son of Prince Friedrich Wilhelm of Prussia and of his first wife Waltraud Freydag) and his wife Anna Christine Soltau had their fourth child and third daughter, Princess Anna Sophie of Prussia, born in March or April.
 

REUSS

Prince Heinrich XVIII Reuss (youngest son of Prince Heinrich XI Reuss and of Baroness Ulfa von Dörnberg) married Diana von Hagen in a civil ceremony in Berlin on February 16th. A religious ceremony took place in Wettenhausen, Germany on April 28th.
[She is a daughter of Georg von Hagen (himself the eldest child of the late Wilhelm von Hagen and of Countess Marie Louise Fugger of Babenhausen) and of Countess Antonia Zichy de Zich et Vásenkeö and she was born in Augsburg, Germany on May 6th, 1972.]

Prince Heinrich XVII Reuss (son of the late Prince Heinrich III Reuss and of his second wife Countess Odylia of Castell-Castell) married Letizia Hoffmann in Vienna on 22 September.
[She is a daughter of Alex Hoffmann and of Noelle Scaler Walser (now Donna Noelle dei Principi del Drago) and was born in Geneva on 31 Aug 1969.]

The Rt Rev Peter Everard Coleman, Bishop Suffragan of Crediton, 1984-96, and since then assistant Bishop in the Diocese of Bath & Wells, died as the result of  of a car accident on 27 December. He was married to Princess Elisabeth-Donata Reuss (daughter of Heinrich XXXIX Prince Reuss and of Antonia Gräfin zu Castell-Castell), by whom he had four children.

Prince Heinrich XIV Reuss (only son of Heinrich IV, Prince Reuss and of Princess Marie Luise of Salm-Horstmar) and his wife Baroness Johanna Raitz von Frentz (only daughter of Baron Jan Raitz von Frentz and of Baroness Maria Kunigunde von Hoenning O'Carroll) are expecting their second child.

RUSSIA

Princess Vera Konstantinovna of Russia (daughter of the late Grand Duke Konstantin of Russia and of the late Princess Elisabeth of Saxe-Altenburg) died in New York on January 11th.

Michael Romanoff (only child of Michael Romanoff [himself the only son of the late Prince Feodor Alexandrovitch of Russia and of his morganatic wife the late Princess Irina Pavlovna Paley] and of his first wife Helga Staufenberger) died in Mumbai, India on January 24th.
[The deceased leaves a natural daughter, Tatiana Romanoff (born in 1986), by María de las Mercedes Ustrell y Cabani, who is now the second wife of his father.]

Olga Kuilkovsky [daughter of Tikhon Kulikovsky, himself the son of Grand Duchess Olga Alexandrovna and her second husband, Nikolai Kulikovsky] and her husband, José Cordeiro, had a fourth son, named Victor.
 

SAXE-MEININGEN

Princess Désirée Alexandra Felicitas Rosemarie Feodora of Schaumburg-Lippe (only daughter of Prince Wilhelm of Schaumburg-Lippe and of Ilona Hentschel von Gilgenheimb) married Michael Frederik Iuel in Glesborg, Denmark on September 1st.
[He is the youngest son of the late Niels Iuel (himself a son of the late Christian Frederik Iuel and of the late Kate Harriet Ryan Treschov) and of Jonkvrouwe Sylvia Wendela Pretoria van Lennep (herself the fourth and youngest child of the late Jonkheer Willem Frederik van Lennep and of the late Cécile Marie Roosmale Nepveu) and he was born in Århus, Denmark on October 1969. Prince Pedro of Bourbon-Two Sicilies (only son of Infante Carlos of Spain,Pr of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, and of Princess Anne of France) married Sofía Landaluce y Melgarejo at the chapel of the Puerto de Hierro club in Madrid on March 30th.
[She is a daughter of José Manuel Landaluce and of Blanca Meljarejo (herself a grandaughter of a duke de San Fernando de Quiroga). Prince Pedro and Sofía Landaluce y Melgarejo already have a son, Jaime de Borbón y Landaluce, born in 1993.]

Frédéric Denizot (son of Michel Denizot and Maria Christina di Borbone [dei conti di Roccaguglielma]) and his wife Ariane de Pineton de Chambrun (daughter of Count Jean-François de Pineton de Chambrun and Josalee Douglas) had a son, Aymar Denizot, born in Paris on August 10th.

Princess Cecylia Lubomirska (daughter of the late Prince Kasimierz Lubomirski and of the late Countess Therese Wodzicka and widow of Prince Gabriel of Bourbon-Two Sicilies) died at São Paulo, Brazil on 20 September.

Princess Ines of Bourbon-Two Sicilies (third daughter of Infant Carlos of Spain, Pr of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, and of Princess Anne of France) married Nobile Michele Carrelli Palombi in Toledo, Spain on October 13th.

Alejandro Garcia-Atance and his wife, Sonia Morales y de Borbón (daughter of Princess Ines of Bourbon-Two Sicilies and of the late Don Luis Morales y Aguado) had a daughter, Sofia, in Madrid on 24 December.

Prince Vladimir of Yugoslavia (son of the late Prince Andrej of Yugoslavia and of his second wife Princess Kira of Leiningen) and his wife Brigitte Müller had a stillborn son.

Catherine Oxenberg (daughter of Princess Jelisavetta of Yugoslavia and of her first husband Howard Oxenberg) and her second husband Casper Van Dien had their first child [together], Maya Van Dien, born in Los Angeles on September 20th.
