This is a survey of descendants of King John of England until approximately the end of the Wars of the Roses in 1485. It is not intended to be complete; I have omitted many children and lines of descent, but have tried to include all those with historical significance. Issue of foreign marriages is included only to the extent that they are of interest to English genealogy. In cases in which descendants married other descendants included in this survey, the respective spouses are marked with asterisks, or with the words “above” or “below”. Generally, the issue of the marriages of two descendants are listed under the father.
