EGERTON

 

 

 

The Egerton family of which I treat shares a common ancestor with the Egerton of Egerton Baronets, a large and extant family, the seventh of which Baronets was created Lord Grey of Wilton and Earl of Wilton, and his issue carried the Egerton surname and the Wilton titles and estates into the Grosvenor family.
