The present members of this family bear the title Prince[ss] of Denmark, Highness, while the children of the monarch and of the heir apparent enjoy the style of Royal Highness. By order of 27 Mar 1953 the succession to the throne was limited to the issue of King Christian X.  In 2008 the Queen announced that the members of the house descended from her would bear the additional titles of Count and Countess de Monpezat.
