However, a correspondent has pointed out that there are some minor
differences between what is in ES and what is in The Complete Peerage. Normally
I find that most information in The Complete Peerage is more accurate than
other sources (especially more accurate than what is in other British Peerage
works), but I also find ES to be well researched and up-to-date. That being
