It can be odd the first time to visit a Gor place. We try to make it easy and You to feel welcome. Laws of the Palace for the Free:

• You are guest inside The Palace and must follow the rules of The Palace.

• In the Gor books every part of Gor is different from other parts. It is the same way on Irc Gor, the channels are very different and often created to build a special room from the Owner's interpretation of Gor. A visitor to a Gor room has to follow the old saying "When in Rome do as the Romans do" - and if the visitor's view is very opposite, every one has the right to build a Gor room after own liking. Talking of Gor items is of course welcome, but the decisions inside The Palace are made by the Ubar and His Ubara, often represented by the courtiers of The Palace, the OPed Free Persons.

• Any Free Person present may grant a slave entrance and exit.

• White silks slaves are - as it is all over Gor - protected and restricted. They may not lap or be furred by other than their Owners.

• Visiting slaves, collared or uncollared, are under the protection of The Palace and may not be seen as objects for hunting.

• The yellow and red silks slaves collared to The Palace, Jarl BlueTooth and Mistress Triesha are for use as other slaves - but only if their whois says "unrestricted".

• Do not use more than one slave for a serve as the slaves need to be free to serve others entering the home.

• Slave hunting and collaring is not allowed inside the Palace and will be followed by banning and kicking.

• Slaves may be used for furring in the alcoves of The Palace, but not removed from The Palace for use. You can get information about the alcoves from the OPed Free or from first boy, first girl, second boy or second girl.

• Some visiting Masters and Mistresses find it odd, that inside The Palace the first boy and second boy is addressed by slaves as master and the first girl and the second girl as mistress (all without capital). This custom is though based on the Gor books. In the Gor books the other slaves often call the first girl in the chain mistress. And a new slave in some books is forced to call every other slave mistress.

• Some visitors do not like, that the first boy, first girl, second boy and second boy are OPed in the irc channel. The OP does not mean the slave is over Free. It is just like the situation, where slaves are allowed knives. Normally on Gor slaves are not allowed to use knives, but permission can be given by a Free, With the Irc Op inside the Palace it is just the same. The slave do not use the OP without the Owner's command or permission. The slave is a toy in the Owner's hand, and so is the slave's use of OP. As a matter of fact there is nothing odd or ungorean int it at all, it is just like when slaves use axes for making logs for the hearth - always with permission and under control.
