I found the best FREE online game on the net. It's brought to you by the same people that brought you "You Don't Know Jack". The program takes a small download (2MB or so) and then you must register a nickname. What Is Acrophobia?? "Acrophobia" according to Bezerk online games, is "the fear of acronyms". An acronym (according to Webster's Collegiate Dictionary) is a word formed from the initial letter or letters of each of the successive parts or major parts of a compound term. In plain English that means, a word formed for the initial characters of a name or saying, (i.e. USA is an acronym for "United States of America", or SOL could be an acronym for "S**t Outta Luck". Acrophobia is a game where you are given between 3, and up to 7 letters, and you must come up with an acronym to fit it within 60 seconds. Once the 60 second timer has run out, everybody who is participating in the game votes on the best answer. Points are then given to the person with the most votes, and points are also given to the person who gives the fastest answer (regardless of whether they receive any participant votes or not). To make the game even more fun, there is a chat window where you can talk with the other players while playing the game. So in other words, you get to meet and chat with new people, and play an exciting and fun game all at the same time.
