~*~ A Masters' Words ~*~
The wind did howl a mournful song ...
In the growing twilight dim ~
Where a woman knelt at a fresh turned grave...
With collar in hand, she mourned for him.
A submissive who had no Master ...
She who would give, but with none to take ~
She wailed her grief to the cold, unfeeling skies...
A pain only her Master could better make.
My Master" she whispered through her tears ...
"I cannot live this way ~
I am lost and alone, like a ship without rudder or sail ...
Drifting from day to day".
You were my life, my Master, my love ...
My flesh heart and soul to mold as only you could ~
But the pain in my heart that I feel at your loss...
Is beyond any I could have ever stood .
My days, they have no meaning ...
My nights, they have no end ~
I reach out in the darkness but I am alone ...
I need my lover, my Master, my friend.
This pain is beyond all that I can endure ...
I cannot go on alone ~
And so I choose to end it here...
As I kneel beside your stone.
From her purse she drew a dagger sharp ...
And placed it to her breast ~
A sudden thrust, a moment of pain...
And then she would have her rest.
But as she took a final breath ...
The wind did moan soft and low ~
And softly heard in the graveyard still...
Was the voice that she did so well know.
"My pet" said the words upon the wind ...
That spoke unto her heart ~
"You are as you were born to be...
Your life can play no other part".
I have molded your heart, your body and mind...
With the flogger, the whip and the crop ~
And now you would destroy that which I did create?
My love, I say unto you that this must stop"
"The path I walk you will walk one day...
Such is the fate of mortal man ~
And one day we will again meet upon that path...
And once more you will kneel before where I stand"
"But that day is not today my pet...
For now, we must walk apart ~
Wear your collar with pride upon your throat my pet...
As I do upon my heart".
"Live your life and live it well ...
And when down that path you run ~
You'll have no grief as the darkness gathers...
For you'll know that your labors have been well done."
"Now go my pet and live the life...
That you were born to lead ~
Help your Sisters and Brothers alike...
To understand this burning, soaring need".
You represent me now my pet...
For you are what I was forced to leave behind ~
A living memorial to what I was and am ...
A true submissive, of heart and soul and mind."
The wind did fade there by the grave...
But she knew what she did hear ~
Her Masters voice, and love and touch...
Were still ringing in her ears.
She stood there by the graveside ...
And the dagger dropped unheeded at her side~
"As you order my Master" she said with a smile ...
"I shall yet serve with pride".
And then she took a single short step backward ...
And bowed, a gesture of respect and love ~
To the Master who had reached from beyond the grave...
And who looked down upon her from above.
