The Dragon - written by Tigrath

With wings of leather,

with hide of scales,

His race appears

in many tales.

In legend and myth,

story and song,

The side of the dragon

always appears wrong.

"He kidnapped the princess!"

"Our best knight went to slay him!"

There are many ways that

man tries to incriminate them.

Dragons... "gigantic fire-breathing

demons" of old,

Are nowhere near as bad

or evil as humans have told.

Humans...knowledge-seeking,

power hungry bipeds a-plenty,

Of all the mistakes they've made,

they haven't realized many.

As long as the earth

remains human-ridden,

The society of dragons

will walk the shadows, well-hidden.
