Midnight - written by Maelstorm

Even in my sleep I can hear your metal armor a mile away?

Yet you continue onward knowing that you will live to see another day.

You think that you hunt me but you are as the moth being led to the flame.

Why come to die for a king that thinks this is only a game?

I have only eaten those fools that come seeking to kill me as their diving right.

Of the foolish things in the world they come to seek an ebony dragon at night.

There is no divinity to this charade you only seek to have hero attached to your name.

If you flee before a forest fire then how is it you hope to stand a chance against my flame?

Must I warn you there are many things in those fairies tales that are very deceiving?

Those bones that clutter around you are the ones who tried taking my life instead of just leaving.
