You might wonder why, in this world of scientology and agnosticism, I believe in Jesus Christ. The reason behind this is that in Him, I have found the truth and my salvation. I'm not a fool, I am not going to believe in something that, after I have really studied and read about it, I have found to be a lie. Truly, the reason for faith is acceptance of the belief that the one you have faith in can help you. Jesus saved me - and yes, even you - from the depths of hell. Two thousand years ago, before we were even born, He paid the price of our sins. All of it. And you see, by believing in the fact that He saved us, we can spend our eternal life in heaven - where the streets are paved with gold and everything! Warning though, it is not what we do, not how much faith in Him we have that we are saved. We are saved because of the power and love of the One we have faith in. OK, so you have the faith...the next most obvious thing that comes next is love and gratitude. Think of it this way, the guy died for you - that's how much He loves us. Won't you at least be grateful for what He did? Call it a 'debt of the soul,' a debt we can't ever pay but out of our gratitude, we try to anyway. There are many things you can do to show your gratitude, of course, but generally, you have to devote time and effort and, trust me, I guarantee that this time and effort that you spend getting to know this /Man/ called Jesus, will lead you to really love Him and actually inspire you to want to be like Him. And when you have that want, you will try to do as He says, to love God. And in loving God, you'll love everyone created in His image and likeness, that is, the whole of humanity. And more still, as you love God, you'll love everything that He created. And the world will be a much better place!!!
