Story: Dilgear, once an allie of Zelgadis, he was betrayed by two of his most trusted friends, Zolf and Rodimus. Now that he has regenerated using his Troll abilities, he plans to regain his pride. Even if it may kill him. With little supplies and allies Dilgear must fight his own battle with just his sword, strength and skill.
Episode Story:Dilgear is a large wolf / troll mix, allowing him the ability to regenerate. He, too, helps in retrieving the statue, however, he serves Rezo rather than Zelgadis. When Zel turns against Rezo, Dilgear follows Rezo and "betrays" Zelgadis. Later on, Dilgear is killed by ever-loyal Zolf and Rodimus; he exclaims, "Just wait til I come back to life!" This leaves lots of people saying "yeah, right...", but he doesn't lie after all. He is alive and talking again in the Slayers Extra 4, which take place between the first and second series! As for rumors, Dilgear is rumored to be Luna's pet dog, Spot. I really don't know if this is true or not; I read it on the internet. But, hey, I guess it could be true...
