I was born Sept. 22, 1977. I am a Fort Wayne native and have lived here all of my life. I have studied different art techniques and basics since childhood and experimented with different forms of art as well. I truely do enjoy creating things. Especially ones that are unique but not necessarily in essence; although, presenting a new image or idea to the world is what I feel leads us to evolve. And I think this is necessary for us to grow. These people, I feel, who change our philosophies and perceptions on art truely are the artists.
As for me, I cannot explain myself clearly. At least when it comes to describing the type of art I desire to create. What I would truely enjoy, more than making a name for myself, becoming locally known, or anything in that sense, is just mastering my thoughts into effective visual images. Meaning, I want to be able to manipulate my chosen medium quickly and efficiently, capturing in that moment what is stimulating my mind. That is why Impressionism is so appealing to me. Quick and effective strokes can still make the same impact if not more. My thinking is once again evolving and rationalizing meaning on a different level. Art has taken on a new personality with me once again. And as I continue studying the greats, I'm sure their works will unveil a deeper understanding to personal happiness through the use of color and subject matter. Picasso has been also playing a huge influence in my thinking lately. Keep those gears turning.
I feel people need to communicate ideas, thoughts and feelings when dealing with art in any of its many forms, especially in an open environment. Where would we be if aesthetics were programmed in our conscience minds?
