 Shanae and Tahiri's Knighting Ceremony and Party!!!The Jedi Temple's Gardens glowed with the lamps and fireflies situated around the flowerbeds, and the flourecent lights of Coruscant's night skyline. The members of the Jedi Order (and a few Sith who crashed the party) were situated amidst the flowers and trees, waiting for the ceremony to start. A hush decended as two cloaked figures entered the gardens, their faces hidden in their deep cowls. The pair walked side-by-side, the figure on the right cloaked in deep emerald green, the figure on the left in midnight black. The duo came to the top of a slight hill in the center of the garden, where they could be seen by all. Only then did they throw off their cloaks to reveal their identites - Emerald Angel and Iceheart. Icy was already fingering the little pink lightsaber dangling around her neck. "Stop fidgeting!" Emi hissed to her daughter. "And stand up straight!" The crowd grew silent again as two more figures entered the garden area, again walking side by side. The figure on the right cloaked in purple, with an emerald green border, while the figure on the left was dressed in a black cloak, that revealed a pink lining when she walked. This pair also acended the hill in the center, and took their places in front of Emi and Icy, throwing of their cloaks to reveal themselves as Shanae and Tahiri, the guests of honor. "Fellow Jedi" Emi started, as the crowd quieted once again. "And Sith" she noted, nodding to the cluster of black-clad characters in the back. "Shanae and Tahiri came to us to be trained as Jedi Knights, and did so with an enthusiam that should be a beacon of inspiration to all Padawans. Shanae started her training by bringing an alter-ego to the forefront..." "While Tahiri invented three new devices that will benefit the Republic" Icy interjected. "Shanae then chronicled an episode in the training of Obi-Wan Kenobi under the tutelage of Master Qui-Gon Jinn..." "While Tahiri joined Shanae in role-playing" "As a third task" Emi continued "Shanae and Tahiri collaborated on a web site to help all Star Wars Chicks co-ordinate their wardrobes..." "I'm still addicted" Icy pointed out. "Then, Shanae chronicled My rather extensive family tree..." Emi went on "... and then constructed her lightsaber and wrote a vow to the Jedi Order." "While Tahiri informed us all of the benefits of forgoing footwear..." "Although my Qui-Gon really should keep his boots" Emi interjected. "Hi Quiggles!" she said, waving to the Jedi Master in the crowd. "Focus!" Icy hissed, before continuing. "Tahiri then constructed her own lightsaber, which prepared her for her Trials..." "A lightsaber duel with Shanae!" Emi finished. "Which Tahiri won, although they both put in a wonderful showing!" Icy added. "So now, without further adieu" Icy said, snapping her lightsaber to life, and setting it on "Padawan Knighting." "Kneel, as Padawans" Shanae and Tahiri both kneel before their Masters, as Emi and Icy cut their Padawan braids. "And rise as Jedi Knights!" Emi finished, as the crowd erupts in cheers. Icy held up her hand, using a subtle Force trick to quiet the crowd. "And now, we have a few gifts for you, to celebrate your new rank in the Order!" Emi fastens an "Emerald Angel" locket with a picture of Obi-Wan inside around Shanae's neck, while Icy gives Tahiri a rare black orchid plant. Emi then hands both Knights a box of Godiva chocolate-covered strawberries. "May The Force Be With You!" Emi and Icy both chime, as the crowd again erupts in cheers, and after a moment starts filtering into the Temple Waterfall room for the celebratory party. Fluffy-Wan is already in the middle of the dance floor, doing the Happy Hamster Dance in celebration.  |
