You are invited to attend a Knighting ceremony... Yup, after much angst and procrastination, my beloved Padawan has finally achieved Knighthood... *sniff*..... *the vast ceremonial hall in the Jedi temple on Coruscant* SWC Masters & Padawans line each side of the room. AJ stands at one end, her pale green dress glowing in the sunlight as it streams through the tall windows. Enter Icy, dressed in a flowing white gown with delicate embroidery on the sleeves and bodice. She walks the length of the hall in dignified silence, and kneels before her Master. "Padawan, you have worked hard to overcome the tasks I set you. Designing a beautiful wedding dress for Mara Jade, starting long threads on the Nightly board, organizing a 'Red Dwarf' page for a well-known website (  ), writing a fabulous fanfic under extremely restrictive conditions, and designing your own lightsaber. You achieved your final trial of posting a new thread on every forum on the SWC ezboard with your usual flair and aplomb. I now confer on you the title of Jedi Knight."*AJ produces a tiny pair of silver scissors and carefully cuts off Icy's padawan braid* "May you always be as wise, happy, worthy, and kind as you have shown yourself to be during your apprenticeship." *AJ lifts a delicate gold chain from a red velvet cushion and fastens it around Icy's neck. A tiny pink lightsaber hangs from the chain* "A gift of love and respect, my fellow Jedi." She indicates that Icy should rise and turn to face her audience. "Please welcome our newest Knight, my friends." -------------------------------------------- |
