Pan over New York City. Pan around the Statue of Liberty, fast forward to pan around the Empire State building then fast forward to pan over the busy streets of New York. Fast forward to pan down on the NEW DAYS Centre and close in on the entrance. Fade from the entrance to the inside of the centre, inside Eve's apartment where Eve, Craig, James, Jeff, Natalie and Morgan are talking.

Eve - Tell me everything that happened while I was away. Tell me exactly what happened with Arubis and the orb.

Jeff - Eve it was ages ago I'm sure if anything had have happened then it would have had an effect by now.

Eve - Or maybe it's been building. Waiting for just the right moment for it to happen

Craig - What ever "it" is.

Jeff - (sighs)I got a report on some weird things going on in Hell's Kitchen. At first we thought it was just some cult until Alex recognized the symbols. That of the Olympian Gods. Arubis the head honcho talked about bringing back the Gods of Olympus. He had this weird glowing ball, the orb. He said it contained the souls of the Gods and it was found at the ruins of the temple of Ares in Greece.

James - He said one would be the vessel to bring the Gods into the world that's why he brought in these world leaders thinking one of them was it. When they found out Alex was part God Arubis tried to make her the vessel but it all turned out to be fake

Eve - What if it wasn't. What if it was actually meant to being the gods back . What if it actually held their souls.

Craig - That has some validity. When Dahak took over the earth for some time with Ares as his partner they captured the Gods within an orb and held it in his temple.Someone could have found the orb and used to save the gods essence when Xena destroyed them to protect Eve.

Jeff - But Alex destroyed the orb. Whether it was real or not Alex destroyed it so their essence probably just floated away.

Eve - Did you see it being destroyed?

Jeff - Well Alex through one of her lightening balls at it but when it hit the light was so bright and the force of the blow so powerful it knocked us all down.

James - Wait a second. Alex thought it was real. That was why she was so determined to destroy the orb but she changed her mind when she came to after the blast like she was covering something up.

Morgan - And this stuff about the vessel for the Gods. Egan, Eric and Etan were pretty determined to keep Alex away from us. Maybe that essence didn't just float away. Maybe it floated into Alex. Maybe she's the vessel as Arubis intended.

Craig - She does have more energy now, she seems to be more powerful. She blew all of us into the wall when we were fighting against the golden boys and she used to complain about not getting enough sleep but now she's running on no sleep and she doesn't even look tired.

Natalie - I can't sense anything off her. But it's not as if she's not there it's as if I'm being blocked

Eve - And her waking dreams are more frequent. She keeps shouting at someone to go away. As if they were . . . inside her head. In the name of Eli!

Eve quickly runs out of her apartment and everyone follows in panic

Cut to Alex in her loft She in on her knees and rolling around in pain. Alex's hair is wild and her face is covered in tears. She is grabbing on to her head sobbing and screaming

Male voice - How did you think it was going to end?

Female voice - So what exactly is the plan

Male Voice - She probably has developed enough power to kill all of us

Female voice - I say we move on her right away. What's the challenge?

Male voice - I hear she's a babbling idiot

Male voice - And she defied me! No one does that to me! Your curse is nothing compared to the satisfaction I will have when she is mine!

Female Voice - A great commander always looks beyond what their opponent is doing-- to see if there's a deeper strategy

Voices - Kill her Kill her Kill her

Alex - AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Alex can hear a man chuckling from behind her. She quickly turns around and sees the Shiny one himself Apollo dressed in gold laughing at her. Alex screams in anger as she runs to charge at him. She moves to hit him but she catches her wrist.

Apollo - Whoa love!! Where's the fire?

Alex is surprised at the fact that he caught her wrist, that he's real. Apollo seems to know what she's thinking.

Apollo - Oh no I'm not in your head. I'm real. I am Apollo and you are not only my family but my only hope to rebuild my family.

Cut to Alex and Apollo in Alex's loft. Apollo is still holding on to her wrist. Alex tugs her her wrist away.

Alex - Go away!!

Apollo - Come now is that any way to treat family.

Alex - You are not my family!! You are hateful and petty and cruel. You use humans to make yourself feel big . . .you . . you sent those Golden Boys after me to kill me!!

Apollo - No no my dear I sent them to bring you to me

Alex - By any means necessary?

Apollo - No not at all!!

Alex - They drugged me !! They tried to kill me !!!

Apollo - And you dealt with them accordingly

Alex - Shut up!!

Apollo- Well they deserved it!!I would have done the same thing

Alex - Shut up!! I'm nothing like you!!

Apollo - Oh but you are so much more. You have the power of half a dozen Gods in you. The very best of us!!

Alex - (shakes her head) No No. That's impossible!

Apollo - Is it?

Apollo walks over to Alex and touches her head

*flash*

Alex grabs the chains and starts swinging it around. She hits a few cult members out of they way then whips the chains to wrap around Arubis. She then holds up her hand as a blue sphere appears.
Arubis - NO YOU CAN'T!
Alex - I must!!
Alex throws the sphere at the orb smashing it. It blows up in waves of bright lights. Alex is thrown back into a wall and everyone is thrown back on to the ground. Arubis is thrown to the ground causing the spikes on the chain to stick in him.
Cut back to Alex as she falls down unconscious slumped against the wall. There is a bright light that hovers in a small sphere around her chest then fades away.
James - (looks over to Alex)Alex!!(runs over to her and checks her over) Alex! Alex wake up!!(hears Arubis is chuckling slightly and coughing)
Arubis - (whispering)It . . . it is . . . done (head slumps to the side and eyes close as he dies)

*end flash*

Alex jerks away

Alex - No!

Apollo - Yes! The orb was real!! The essence of the gods had to be smashed in order for it to assume a host. You have the strength and the power to hold them all and when the alignment of the planets occur they will be at their peak and they will be born again. You are the one to bring them forth!!! They are getting stronger inside of you making you stronger.

Alex - But . .no I don't want to be like them . . . I don't want to use my powers to hurt people!!

Apollo - Who says you are hurting anyone!! I've seen you. You are trying to suppress your growing powers and people end up hurting you and taking advantage!! My boys, that stupid mortal Mia . . .Craig. They all defied you. You were right in every case and they still sought to do wrong against you.

Alex - What . . .what will happen to me?When the Gods come forth

Apollo - Anything you want. Your destiny is to usher in a new age of the Olympian Gods and you can be apart of that great society. You can be made a God and do many great things or you can smite those who do wrong to you. The point is You are powerful and strong. Don't suppress it, embrace it.

Alex - But Eve . .. and the others . . What if they find out?

Apollo - They won't find out. I've taken care of that

Alex - They will. I can't hide this forever . . . they look for a way to get the Gods out of me!! . . .Maybe it's for the best . . I can have my life back.

Apollo - (takes Alex by the shoulders and turns her forward toward him sharply) NO!!! . . . .Don't you like being stronger . . .having the power to do anything . . . .

Alex - (cries)I just want the voices to go away!!! I want to have my life back. I don't want things to change!!

Apollo - But things do change and for the better. You can have control as long as you embrace the powers, the entities within you. Once the gods are brought forth you can have the life you've always wanted and you can be given the power to do anything you want. Don't you want to have a wonderful life.

Alex - (nods her head still crying) Yes

Apollo - Listen to me. There is no way to get the Gods out. The only way to stop their re birth is for you to die. Eve is firmly in belief of sacrificing for the greater good!! If she is to find out what you've become she will destroy you.

Cut to Eve and Craig going into Alex's building

Craig - Shouldn't the others be with us?

Eve - No. If everyone comes down on her she'll tense up become overly defensive and push everyone away. We need to find out what's going on and we can't go scaring her off.

Craig - What if she is the vessel? What if she does have the Gods inside of her? She could try to kill you.

Eve - She won't and if she is the vessel then will have to find away of getting the Gods out!

Craig - What if there is no way. We're going to have to end this before they get to strong.

Eve - Could you kill you best friend? Because I couldn't

Craig - If it came to that? Yes. For the greater good

Eve - You've become to hard

Craig - And you can't afford to be soft?

Eve - Craig let's find out what Alex knows first O.K. I don't want to start thinking about things that don't have to be.

Cut to outside Alex's door. Eve and Craig hear Alex's voice.

Alex - ( voice, panicked) Well what do I do?? How do I stop them!!!?

Craig makes the move to open the door when Eve stops him

Eve - Last time I did that I nearly got a vase smashed over my head.(knocks on the door) Alex?

They hear some rustling from inside before Alex opens the door looking mess!

Alex - (surprised) Hi! What are you guys doing here?

Eve - Alex are you O.K.? You've been crying?

Alex - Wha . . Oh yeah . . watching a soppy movie. Whatever(moves aside and let's them in)

Craig - (unconvinced) Who were you talking to?

Eve - Oh um . . .Cupid . .. Popped in to say hi! Had some news. Got spooked when you knocked and took off

Eve - Did he have news on who you have to stop?

Alex - What? . .Oh yeah . .. Some demons Cupid was warning me about.

Craig - Since when has Cupid ever warned you about demons?

Alex - (getting annoyed) Since now. What's with all the questions? When did you get so nosy?

Eve (walks over and touches Alex's shoulder gently) We're worried. We got some disturbing news

Alex - Like?

Eve- Natalie is very worried. She can't sense you (sees Alex roll her eyes) She says she can feel a presence but you are nowhere there is no trace of you like she's being blocked from you. James . . .he hasn't has a vision of you since before the incident with the orb not one

Apollo - (voice Alex remembers) They won't find out. I've taken care of it

Alex - (snaps back) So . . .that's hardly a basis to be worried. It could be anything or nothing at all. Maybe Natalie's sense is off.

Eve - Maybe but Alex we think it might have something to do with the orb you smashed. We think the gods were in that orb and that somehow you've become a vessel to bring them back into the world.

Alex - There is no way that could happen. I would have known. I would have sensed something right away. I would have told you in order to protect you. When that I first heard about that orb and Arubis my first priority was protecting you!!

Eve - And I am forever grateful to you but what if the takeover was so subtle you didn't even notice!!

Alex - That blast was pretty big Eve. I think I would have noticed

Eve - Maybe something did happen

Alex - Or maybe nothing happened?

Eve - But there is still things to account for. Like you are stronger now. You have more power, more energy

Alex - Maybe my godhood is finally starting to work for me maybe I've learned to concentrate it in another area maybe I've been trying to suppress it for so long that sometimes it just blows up!!

Eve - And what about your waking dreams. You talk like there is someone else in the room. Who are you talking too?

Alex - I don't know!! God Eve they're just dreams! They don't mean anything!

Eve - And what about Etan, Egan and Eric

Alex - Psychos who tried to kill me!! Get over it!! Nothing has happened to me so let it go!

Eve - Alex something happened that day with Arubis and that orb and I want you to take some real time to consider the repercussions of that day. Please!!

Alex - (sighs)all right all right. I don't know how I'm exactly supposed to go about that but I'll think over the events of the last few months OK. But right now I have to go to work because I really can't believe you left James in the centre by himself.

Alex goes into the bathroom to get herself ready. Eve sighs and looks to Craig who sitting on the couch

Eve - You could have said something. Anything

Craig - There is nothing I could have said that would change Alex's perspective on things. And I doubt how much influence I have since what happened between her and I. All I know is that everything is different now. Alex is different.

Cut to the centre. Alex is doing some paper work and looking over some figures. The music is beginning to annoy her but she keeps on working. Apollo appears beside her.

Apollo - Whatcha doing?

Alex - (jerks up startled she looks to Apollo sighs and goes back to her paperwork) Trying to get some paperwork done

Apollo - You would rather have this then a life of power and luxury?

Alex - At least it's honest

Apollo - So who says when you are a god you have to be dishonest. You can do anything you want to do anyway you choose to do it.It can be bad or good. That's the beauty of it. It's your choice. And isn't that's what it's all about. Choice.

Alex - I didn't choose to have Gods inside my head

Apollo - Yes but that was destiny but you can choose how to use the advantages of this destiny. Take this pesky paper work for example and this noise. You can just make everyone shut up

Apollo is about to wave his hand at the people but Alex stops him

Alex - Don't!

Apollo - O.K. then let's just finish this up.

Apollo waves his hand over the mass off papers and suddenly they are all in one neat pile with everything completely. Alex looks over it in amazement.

Alex - It's all organized and all the figures are done. I've got a budget!! How did you do that?

Morgan - Do what?

Alex jumps at Morgan being beside her. Morgan looks at Alex confused. Alex looks to Apollo who is still there. He just smiles

Apollo - She can't see me

Alex - Uh . . . I was just talking to myself. I'm amazed really. I just got a budget and I don't know how I did it!

Morgan - Uh .. .yeah

Alex - What are you doing here anyway? I thought you were off solving mysteries with Jeff.

Morgan - Just finished a case. Jeff is dropping by the precinct though looking into the details of an old case. That one with Arubis and the Olympic cult.Eve asked him too

Alex - Arubis is dead. Case closed

Morgan - We just want to know more about the orb

Apollo - Nosy isn't she?

Alex - Why are you so obsessed with the orb? It was fake.

Morgan - Maybe it wasn't! I don't know about you but I think it's a little strange that an orb that was supposed to have the spirits of the gods in it gets destroyed and a few months later a couple of Apollo's servants come looking for you to take on full God hood and a couple weeks after that you start having waking dreams where you are talking to people.

Apollo - Who asked her anyway? Not you I bet!! She is sticking herself in your private life and using it against you!

Alex - It all means nothing. Now if you don't mind I'm going to go check out the equipment to my gym

Morgan - Alex!(grabs her arm and jerks Alex back towards her)

Apollo - That ungreatful brat

Alex - You ungreatful brat!! How dare you touch me!! You know I gave you the benefit of the doubt when you came here!! I gave you a job even when your boyfriend came here and nearly got Eve killed and you dare stick yourself into my life my business. You are creating problems where there are none!!!

Morgan -We are considering all possibilities. You could be in great danger and we are trying to help you even if you don't want it. Why can't you accept that we care about you?

Apollo - She's one to talk!! Abusive boyfriend, running away from her problems, getting into an amazon cult that rejects Artimis, my sister, the very God who created the amazons!

Alex - How dare you criticize my life!! You are not exactly the one to do so especially since you haven't got the greatest track record when it comes to great decisions in life!!

Morgan - You are such a hypocrite you know that!! You preach to Craig and everyone else that when we are helping them it's because we care but in the end you turn around and lash out at everyone who are trying to do the same!!

Apollo - She should mind her own business!!

Alex - Listen to me you amazon reject!!Mind your own goddamn business and I'll mind mine!!!

Alex walks off leaving Morgan stunned. She turns around and heads up to Eve's apartment and warns Eve.

Alex walks around the lower area of the centre where the equipment is.

Apollo - How dare she talk to you like that? But it's all the same with mortals. They just don't appreciate what has been given to them and they have no respect for who gave it to them!! Just look all around at these fools

Alex looks around at the people abusing her gym equipment.

Apollo - You have given them a place to better themselves, you've have given them a chance to change themselves for the better and look what they are doing to the fruits of your labor

Alex steps out of the way as she is almost run over by a pack of kids running out the centre followed by a few youth group leaders.

Apollo - Those imps nearly bowled you over. They have no respect for you.

Alex looks over to the back room entrance where Eve, Morgan and James and standing watching her

Apollo - And your "friends" go behind your back delving into your personal life. They say they care but their first priority is the greater good and if they believe you are a threat they will destroy you if there is no other way. (bends in close to Alex's ear) And there is no other way. However you can change all that. You can change everyone hear if you want

Alex - (turns away and whispers harshly) I've heard promises like that before.

Apollo - All right fine. You can go back to this boring little drab life you have but at least first restore my family.

Alex - What about Eve?

Apollo - What about her? We don't want to destroy her anymore. We realize it was our own fear that got us into trouble all we want is a chance to do things right. Run this world the way it was meant to be run. All you have to do is come with me to Olympus where we can protect you that's all. After the re birth you can do what ever you want. You can have respect, power, run things they way you want, or you can get trampled on and looked down upon by those inferior to you.

Alex is suddenly pushed by someone who tripped over themselves and she finally snaps. She picks up the guy and throws him toward the entrance

Alex -GET OUT!! GET OUT YOU WORTHLESS SCUM!!!!

Alex picks up pieces of gym equipment and throws it at people. The people gasp and are stunned at her outburst

Alex - What are you looking at you insects!!! YOU ARE RUINING MY GYM! MY LIFE!! I'VE GIVEN YOU THIS PLACE AND YOU ARE TEARING IT APART YOU HAVE NO RESPCT FOR ME OR MY WORK!! YOU ARE NOTHING!!! DO YOU HEAR ME! GET OUT! EVERYONE OUT!

Alex picks up a huge dumbbell and begins to swing it around at people. James comes in suddenly and grabs by the waist and holds her back while Eve grabs the dumbbell out of her hand

Eve - GET HER OUT OF HERE!!NOW!!

James picks up Alex who is still ranting and raving and drags her out with Morgan behind

Eve - (runs over to a waitress) Look after things OK. see if you can get people to calm down

The waitress nods as Eve runs out!!

Cut to outside the centre where James throws Alex down. She brushes her self off and pushes James right before Morgan fends her off

Morgan - What the hell is wrong with you?!

Alex - Butt out!!!

Eve - (walks out)HEY!!WHAT IS GOING ON!!

Alex - I get no respect around here

Eve -Trying giving a little and you might get some in return

Alex - Don't give me that tripe!!

Eve - What has gotten into you?

Alex - Common sense Eve. That's what's gotten into me. Have you watched those people? Those ungreatful sods!! I have given them a place to better themselves and they throw in my face by abusing the equipment and knocking me down!!

Eve - Alex it was an accident!!

Alex - It is disrespect!!They are nothing but insects!! I am a God and they don't give me one ounce of the respect I deserve!!

Eve - Are listening to yourself?

Alex - I have tried. I have tried to be a good person and it is thrown in my face!! I have lived my life according to everyone else's rules. Craig's, yours, but never my own and where has it got me!! I get beaten by Craig, I get my life pried into by a worthless amazon and three blond boys tried to kill me!! You all disrespect me and I should deal with all who disrespect me the way I dealt with those golden boys!!!

James - What did you do?

Alex - I will not live my life by anyone else's rules then my own!! This is my life!! my rules!! My world!!!And I will destroy all who defy me!!!

Eve - ALEX WHAT DID YOU DO TO ETAN EGAN AND ERIC!!

Alex - I killed them.

COMMERCIAL

Cut to Alex's loft. Eric bursts in the room. He looks to the spot where Alex was supposed to be unconscious on the ground.

Alex - (voice) Looking for someone?

Eric turns around and finds Alex behind him the puncture wounds in her neck and her eyes glowing white.

Eric - How . . .that drug . . . you are supposed to be unconscious for several hours.

Alex - I'm a god, Moron!! The drug has already worked it's way out of my system. And now you are going to pay for that!!

Alex grabs him by the arm. She snaps it back and breaks Eric's arm. He screams in anguish. Alex then takes him by the neck and throws him head first into the wall.

Egan suddenly bursts through the door. He sees Alex awake standing over Eric on his knees and grabbing his head swaying pain.

Egan - Impossible!

Alex suddenly speeds faster then light behind Egan and snaps his neck. He falls down in front of her

Alex - Any thing is possible.

Alex runs over and picks up Eric

Eric - NO NO NO!!

Alex throws Eric and sends him crashing though the window. Alex walks over to Egan and throws him though the already broken window.

Alex stands there looking through the window and Egan and Eric on the ground dead. Etan comes running into the loft

Etan - NOOOOO!!(runs over to the window) My brothers . . . you killed them.

Alex - As I will kill you

Etan - (sinks to his knees) No please . . . I beg of you . . .I am your humble servant . . .

Alex - You said that before and you defied me.

Etan - But . . you can't . . .

Alex - I'm a god I can do anything I want

Alex picks Etan up by the neck and throws him out the window. Alex dusts of her hands, suddenly she looks confused. She begins to sway looking weak and tired. Her eyes return to normal and she faints.

*flash*

Cut to Eve shaking her head

Eve - No . . . .

Alex - Oh yes . .. I killed them . . .(laughs) And I enjoyed it!!!!

James - Why?

Alex - Because they hurt me and so for the first time I got reveange, payback! And it felt good!!!

Morgan - You enjoyed killing

Alex - Hey they weren't exactly innocent. I just gave them what they deserve. I don't even know why I felt guilty about it.

Eve - (getting so upset there are tears in her eyes) Maybe because it's wrong!!

Alex - Or maybe because I was conflicted. I've been trying to supress who I really am. I am a god, I am a superior being.

Eve grabs Alex by the shoulders

Eve - Alex listen to me!! This isn't you! This is the Gods talking. We have to get them out of you. We have to hurry before it's too late!!!!

Alex - What are you going to do if it is too late. Kill me? Come on Eve. Do it! I dare ya!! . . . .(Eve hesitates with pleading eyes) Would you do it if I said please?

Eve - Alex . . . . Alex pushes Eve off her and walks away. James goes after her

James - Alex wait!! Where are you going?

Alex - Anywhere that's away from here! You know James you were right! You said I don't give myself nearly enough credit!! And I agree I deserve way better then this

James - Wait!!

James grabs a hold of Alex's arm and tries to get a vision. He can't. He looks to Alex in surprise.

Alex - Excuse me but I didn't give you permission to touch me . . (Alex shrugs James arm away)

Alex walks away leaving everyone stunned

Cut to Natalie's apartment. Craig and Jeff are both on lab tops.

Jeff - How's the cross referencing historic logs with world police records going?

Craig - Not good . . .I've got at least twenty different cult orbs coming up

Natalie - Narrow it down to those that were found in the last five years cross referencing it with those of Apollo and Ares!!I got some tips off the plain.

Craig does as she instructs and an article comes up on Craig's computer!!

Craig - Great work!! I got something!!

Suddenly there is furious knocking at Natalie's door. Eve runs in crying with James and Morgan behind her. Craig gets up instantly and Eve runs in to his arms. He holds her tightly

Jeff - What's going on!!?

Morgan - It's Alex!! She's snapped!!

James - She killed the Golden Boys

Jeff - She what??

James - She acts superior to everyone. Everyone is nothing more then insects to her. She's acting like . . like

Eve - (sobs out) A God. I've seen it before, in Ares and Athena and all Gods who wanted me dead. They are in her Craig. The Olympian Gods. That orb, it was real.

Craig - We'll get them out of her. I've got a few articles on the orb. We find out what this orb was and we'll find it's weakness and we can find away to stop what has started.

Before Craig goes back to his computer Eve grabs his arm.

Eve - We have to find way Craig. We can't kill her. I can't lose another friend.

Craig, with saddened look, at Eve's declaration, nods his head hesitantly and goes bak to the computer.

Eve - I just wish I knew what was inside of Alex, what she is dealing with. What we're dealing with.

Natalie - I can't help you there Eve. Remember Alex is blocked from me. James can't either. I know what you tried to do James, you tried to get a vision from Alex.

James - And I couldn't. There was nothing.

Eve - So what do we do?

Natalie - It's time to use your powers Eve. To it's fullest potential.

Cut to Alex in her loft. She is looking out her window. Apollo comes up behind her.

Apollo - Well you handled that well. Now they know!!

Alex - They knew before.

Apollo- But now they are sure and you have got them practically breathing down your neck. Once they figure out there is no way to get the gods out they will kill you

Alex -(turns to Apollo)First of all they can't kill me because there is no hinds blood left and second they wouldn't kill me even if they knew they had to.

Apollo - You seem very sure of yourself.

Alex - I am, so keep your little golden butt out of my business. I'll deal with it.

Apollo - Well you definitely have the attitude of a God

Alex - Let's get one thing straight! I am not a god, I am many gods and you will do well to remember that. Got it!!!

Apollo - (sighs) Your friends still know and that's going to be a problem because they will continue to try and stop the re birth.

Alex - The way I look at it is there is two ways I can deal with this. One, I can talk to them, persuade them to let this ride out, that the gods deserve a chance like anyone else, appeal to their morals, the very code they live by.

Apollo - And if that doesn't work

Alex - Then I go to plan B. I kill them before they kill me.

Cut back to Natalie's apartment. Craig is scrolling down on the article he pulled up on the orb. With the article is a picture. It's Arubis but he looks completely different then the cloaked man that they dealt with earlier.

James - That's Arubis all right but he . . .

Craig - Was originally an archeologist named Aaron Buchannon. At an archeological dig on the borders of Greece at the site of ruins he finds a glowing ball said to be the find of the century.

Eve - What are the ruins from?

Craig - (scrolls down) A temple. From the markings on the ruins it was a temple dedicated to the God of War

Eve - Ares.

Craig - The orb was found in a cavern underground, under the ruins of where the temple would be. Craig - Something like that. The myths also state that this orb was used to trap the gods of Olympus to make Dahak's ascension easier. When Dahak was defeated Hercules found where the orb was hidden and released the gods. I don't get it though I thought Hercules destroyed that orb.

Eve - Arubis found it in a secret room didn't he? Ares probably kept another one hidden away just in case the first one didn't work or he was going to need to use the other one. He knew what was coming with my birth. He probably was going to save himself before he gave up his immortality.

Craig - Do you think the other gods used this as a fail safe if their plan for going up against Xena to kill you didn't work

Eve - The Gods were over confident but they weren't stupid. Remember Athena was the Goddess of Wisdom it very possible they used the orb as a fail safe. They knew about the orb but no one knew where it was even the all mighty Gods. I suspect that the talismans in Dahak's chamber obscured their view blinded then like when he took over the earth without them knowing in the first place.

Jeff - So why did Arubis or Aaron go all super psycho bad and build this cult to the gods and become a priest?

Craig - (checking his computer) Found an article on that too (reads) Archeologist Aaron Buchannon founder of the fabled Orb of the Gods committed to an institution in Athens today in order to be treated for delusions claiming he was being contacted by the mythical sun god Apollo. Among his claims is plans for the Orb of the Gods being used for the re birth of Olympian Gods in the next alignment of the planets and his insistence on finding the vessel that will carry the gods to term.

Craig - Searching all related articles . . . . Found it! Aaron Buchannon now referring to himself as Arubis has been broken out and smuggled out of Athens. Various fractions who claimed to be cults honouring the various mythical Greek Gods including King Neptune and Artimis. Leaders of the cults calling themselves priests have been lobbying for Arubis's release for weeks stating he is to be the new head priest and bring all of the fractions together to make one cult dedicated to Gods of Olympus.

Jeff - So that explains it. Apollo contacted Arubis finding out he had the orb, made it seem like it was his task to find it and his task to bring the Gods back.

James - And all these other cults who were already around believed in his rants so they all packed it up and moved around before coming to New York where they invaded the summit thinking on of the world leaders would be the vessel not knowing that the perfect vessel was actually Alex.

Morgan - So where Arubis fails the Golden Boys take over finding out Alex was the vessel . . . They weren't really trying to kill her were they?

Craig - No, they were trying to protect her .. .from us . . from Eve because they know we are a threat to the Gods coming back.

Eve - They didn't know one thing though. I will not under any circumstances kill Alex.

James - She sure acted like she didn't want them out.

Eve - She only thinks she doesn't. The Gods are clouding her judgment. They are changing her. Craig get every exorcism spell you can find. Improvise and whip up something special if you have to.

Craig nods and gathers up his lap top and heads out.

Craig - I'll go to my apartment and pick up some stuff.

Natalie - Come back here. You'll be safer here. The centre is not safe anymore

Craig nods and goes out.

Natalie - Eve I know what you're thinking

Eve - I would hope so

Natalie - Those potions alone will not work. You are going to have to mix a few powers of Eli in there if only to get through to Alex.

Eve - I don't know if I can. It's been so long.

Natalie - Eve you could once, you have to do it again and I'm not just talking about calling on the power of Eli to vanquish demons. I'm talking about simply willing yourself to look in one's soul, just by looking at someone you can send them flying into a wall, bringing up a shield to protect yourself, becoming one with the wisdom.

Eve -I . . . I can't . . .

Cut to Craig's apartment. Craig comes in to his dark apartment and quickly sets his lap top down and is about to go into his room when he sees a figure lying on his couch.

Craig - Who's there?

The figure get up and walks over to the table and turns on a light. Alex is standing there in black stilettos where a tight strapless leopard dress that ends somewhere between the thighs and the knees. Her hair is long and sleek and she is wearing dark eye make up.

Craig - (eyes nearly bulging out of his head) Alex?

Alex - (seductive) Hello Craig

As Alex walks toward him Craig takes a few steps back. Alex looks at him questioningly as she stops

Craig - Stay back

Alex - Craig what's wrong?

Craig - I don't know who you but you aren't Alex anymore.

Alex - What's the matter Craig? Don't you find me pretty?

Craig - (breathing heavy) Pretty is not the word but Alex is being controlled by other entities. The Alex I know would not dress like this

Alex - (smiles) You told me when I was thirteen but I'll always be one of the guys. You meant it as a complement but I was insulted and when I tried dressing like a girl you told me I would never be pretty like Sheila Taylor. That's when I sucker punched you. Finally in high school when Sheila turned you down for what seemed like the one hundredth time you asked me out to the prom but told me not to be too girly about it. I surprised you when I showed up in the pink dress.

Craig - You did look good

Alex - You sure thought so especially when you got drunk and kissed me.

Craig - It wasn't just the drinks. You were very pretty

Alex - To what I have to say. I did come here to talk. It's about the Gods. Look . . .Something big has happened to me. I've changed in major ways

Craig - Alex, you don't have to sugar coat it for me. I read the articles, I got the info, I know what has happened to you. The orb, Arubis, right down to the Golden boys.

Alex - You got the info.

Craig - Yes. You're the vessel that will bring the Gods to term. Right at the time of the planetary alignment will the Gods be reborn from you that to the orb that harbored them in the ruins of the Temple to Ares. Alex you are probably so confused right now, you don't know who to trust or what is right. Alex I know it may seem hard but you have to trust in your friends, in us. The gods may be inside you but they are lying. You can't trust yourself.

Alex - Apollo contacted me

Craig - What?

Alex - Apollo has been talking to me and I don't mean in my head.

Craig - Whatever he's been saying he's been lying to you

Alex - (shakes her head as she sits down) Craig everything is not a conspiracy. You know the gods have had 2000 years to think about things and cool their heels. Remember Aphrodite and my mother and my father and Cupid, they all forgave Eve. The gods just want the same opportunity.

Craig - Sure . . .then they'll take over the world and remake in to suit their needs and shape it so we are in fear of them. They are like that Alex. Petty, selfish and cruel/

Alex - Remember Craig I've been living them for the past few months. They want to do right by the world. Do things differently then before. We talk so much about giving people the chance to change, to learn from their mistakes and do the right thing. Don't the Gods deserve that same chance. They have souls you know. I feel it.

Craig - The only problem is they don't want to change. They think they are superior they think they should own the world.

Alex - (shakes her head) Not anymore

Craig - (pressed on) And even if they could forgive Eve not that they could because it isn't in their nature Eve won't let them rule the world like they did before. She will fight them therefore she will be their enemy and so will I.

Alex - It that how you really think (gets up and walks toward him and caresses his face and chest)

Craig - (getting uncomfortable) Would you be willing to kill me and Eve just prove the Gods have changed?

Alex - (moves in close to Craig's face and whispers against his lips) I don't want it to come to that. Is there any other way I can convince you.

Alex begins to kiss Craig passionately. Craig at first resists but then opens up to Alex's advances. He opens his mouth and Alex slips her tongue in as they begin a passionate battle. Alex puts her arms around his neck and Craig moves his arms around Alex's waist pulling her close. Alex breaks out of the kiss and kisses along Craig's cheek to licks the outer rim of his ear and suck on his lobe. Craig groans and moves into nuzzle Alex's neck. Alex moves her head back and Craig kisses all up and down her throat before returning to Alex mouth as each willingly try to devour each other in another passion filled kiss.

Fade from Alex and Craig into Natalie's apartment. James, Jeff and Morgan are off to the side waiting silently. Eve is kneeling in a circle of candles. Natalie walks outside the circle waving incense and speaking to Eve in soft tones.

Natalie - Go back Eve. Delve into your past and the past of those before you. Enter a realm of mysticism and power. Eve - (struggleing with her last worlds) In the name of Eli and all the powers in heaven I command this evil to be cast back into hell!!!
The ground trembles beneath Lucifer. He begins smoking and smouldering. His skin begins to burn and he screams in pain. Lucifer begins sinking into the ground again and he continous to scream. There is flash of light whiting everything out.

Alex - Was it you? (grabs Craig by the collar and kisses him hard. She pushes him off into the wall again) It wasn't you. Who is rooting around? (realizes somethings and looks to Craig)Where is she?

Craig - Who?

Alex grabs Craig by the throat and throws him against the wall

Alex -EVE!! WHERE IS SHE?!!!

Craig - (through a chocked voice) Centre!

Alex drops Craig and runs out of his apartment.

Cut back to Eve's vision. Natalie's voice is in the background

Natalie - (voice) Remember Eve. Remember your legacy, the powers you passed on, the powers of all Messengers of yore!

There is various images streaming through of men and women banishing demons to hell, fighting battels and dispalying a whole array of powers. But they are also talking to people, bringing families back together and establishing peace. Through this montage of images she sees portraits of all the Messengers of Eli including Elanore of Aquataine and Ewan the Great.

Suddenly all the images Eve has seen go backward at alarming speed until there is the vortex of blue light.

Cut to Eve as she is jerked out of her vision. She falls on to her face and rolls over on to her back. She is exhausted and out of breath.

Eve - I can't . . .I can't do this . . it's too hard.

Natalie - You can Eve. You must

Eve - I need help.

Natalie - I've given you all the help I can. It's up to you now Eve. It's up to you to embrace your powers. You are so much stronger then I am and are more powerful then I could ever be. You are way out of my league.

Eve - (begins sobbing) I can't . . . .I'm not strong . . .I'm just so weak . . .I won't kill my friend but I can't save her with love and a kind word. I have so much to lose. I'm so afraid

Natalie - Of what? Of who you are. You can't hide from it. You must embrace it.You were chosen. Just as Alex had been chosen and must embrace who she is.

Natalie - It is what has to come to pass. Both you and Alex have reached a cross roads in your life when you must face who you are and embrace what is to come. Both of you are meant to build a world on the foundation on the old. If you are the hammer then Alex is the saw. Although it is not her choice she is the one to build a world of fear and you must be the one to build a world of love.

Jeff - And know yourself. You've beaten all odds before and brought your friends back from the brink of destruction. Why should now be any different?

Suddenly the phone rings. Natalie goes over and picks it up. Her eyes go wide as she looks over to Eve. She hands the phone over.

Eve - Hello?

Craig - (voice) Eve it's Craig. Listen Alex was just here and I don't know what you did but she is pissed and looking for you. I told her you were at the centre so that should buy us some time but it won't take her long to know I duped her. I hope you're ready for this Eve.

Callisto- (voice) All fear is the fear of loss-- and only through that fear-- can we truly love.' You wouldn't have been chosen if you weren't afraid You have has a destiny to fulfill. You were brought here to bring hope to the world-- and if that's to survive-- you must survive. You must be ready to face this challange and if neccesary make a sacrafice..

Raphael - (voice) It will not be an easy choice to make and you will have to make it several times. Are you prepared to do so when the time comes?

Pan out from Eve's eyes as she stares out into space.

Craig - (voice) Eve? Eve are you there?

Eve suddenly drops the phone and runs out of Natalie's apartment.

COMMERCIAL

Cut to the centre as Eve runs is. She stops and looks around in shock. We pan around the centre and see it has been completely trashed. The walls have holes in them the equipment has been broken and the bar has been torn to shreds. It's dark. Eve looks around cautiously.

Eve - Alex?

Alex - (voice) You know. It doesn't look much different now then to how it was when I first bought the place. It was trash. I guess everything does revert back to it's original form (laughs a little) Well not everything.

Alex steps out of the shadows.She is dressed all in leather.

Eve - Alex why are you doing this?

Alex - Well I destroyed this place because the people I had opened it for was doing it any way because they had no respect for me. So I figured better me then them but that's not what you're talking about is it?

Eve - (shakes her head)I don't know what I am suppossed to say to you becuase I'm not even sure if Alex is listening.

Alex - Oh I'm listening, it's just some other people are listening too but I'm sure you knew that already from that little mind search you were doing on me. You shouldn't have invaded my mind Eve.

Eve - I didn't do a mind search! I don't know what happened but what ever it was I couldn't control it. I'm sure you know what that's like

Alex - Not anymore. I'm controling things just fine.

Eve - I don't think you are otherwise you would be fighting what is happeneing to you instead of just letting it take over you. I know what happened. I know everything.

Alex - What makes you think it's bad. I know what they are thinking Eve and it's not what you think. Yes they tried to kill you but they want to set things right. They want to do right by the world.

Eve - Alex, you know better then anyone that the Gods don't change, they do what they want to do because it's the only thing they know. It's in their nature to rule with an iron fist of fear. They believe that because they have powers that they are better then everyone else giving them the right to decide who lives and who dies.

Alex - And how would you know?

Eve - Because I was like them. I worked for them.

Alex - Well you changed and like you and all other people they deserve the chance to change.

Eve - They are not people and they don't want to change. The Gods you are harbouring inside you are killers and even after I had changed were fully intent on killing me .If you let them be reborn you condem me to that fate again and million others. People that you originally worked so hard to protect. You become exactly like the Gods no better

Alex - Aren't you being a little cynical and hypocritical. How dare you judge me. You go around parading as Livia half your life and you are going to judge me on my actions!!

Eve - I don't judge. I help because I've been there. I know what it's like.

Alex -Well I must say you are doing a stellar job of it right now. Just like everyone else I had come to trust in my life. Craig is a drunk and had a murderer takes over his body so he feels it's his right to act like a dick but he's can't be held responsible for his actions but yet he can judge me. Jeff is also a drunk and a hypocrite ready to help for money but he also can't be judged for his actions. He needs to make a living but he can judge me for my life. Morgan is an abused runaway renogade amazon who's problems follows her but forget judgment. She gets absolution but not me! And James that poor pathetic excuse for a member of our team. We keep him around for what? Entertainment. But forget him let's focus on Alex because she's gonig to destroy the world.

Eve - Stop this!

Alex - Well what do you expect!! Everoyne turns on me when they are no better thmeselves. I'm everyone's scapegoat!!!What do you want from me!!!!?

Eve - I WANT MY FRIEND BACK!!

Alex- (scoffs)I have no friends. Least of all you.

Alex makes a move to go when suddenly Morgan jumps on her back. They spin around before Alex grabs Morgan by the hair and flips her off. That when James and Jeff appear and both kick a leg out from under Alex so she falls down doing the splits. Before each can kick her Alex swings her legs together and flips backward to land on her feet. This gives Craig the oputunity to throw several vials at her feet.

At this time several colours, smoke and spirits form a cacoon around Alex swriling around her so fast that she can't move.

Craig - Now Eve do it now!! Cast the Gods out. These exocism potions give you leverage since they are not demons

Eve - In the name of Eli and all the powers in heaven I command that this presence be cast out.

A spark strikes as Alex but nothing happenes

Eve - In the name of Eli and all the powers in heaven I command that this presence be cast out.

Another spark stikes but again nothing

Eve - In the name of Eli and all the powers in heaven I command that this presence be cast out!!

Nothing happens. Alex rolls her eyes. She brings her hands together then spreads them wide in one fluid motion. With that the cacoon is broken and in a flash of blue light everyone is thrown back into the walls. Eve is the only to get up and face Alex again. Alex is about to go out when Eve steps in front of her. Alex sighs

Alex - You know I really don't want to get in a fight with you. If you were really my friends you'd trust me and just ride this out.

Eve doesn't move

Alex - I will hit you

Eve - Then you better do it now because I'm not letting you walk out that door. If you are in there Alex you know that by doing so everything we've wroked so hard for won't survive, innocent people will die. In order for love to exist, the balance kept, you and I must survive, the gods aren't known for sharing and compromise

Alex - (sighs and rolls her eyes) O.K. All right. Fine. Well go on. Spout your little speech. That is what you do at times like these right?

Eve - What do you want me to say? Huh? You want me to preach some philosophical monlogue! Alex knows it all and she beleives in it!! No one is judging you Alex, we are trying to make you understand but whoever is in there is making you focus on everything that is bad and on past mistakes, never the resolution!! I'm a warrior and philosopher but right now I am just your friend and I'm asking you to not go out that door.

Alex moves to the side but Eve blocks her

Eve - Don't

Alex- Is that all you got?

Alex moves but Eve blocks her again.

Alex - You are really starting to annoy me

Eve - I can't let you bring fear into this world. If Alex was still in there somewhere she would try to fight it because she worked for everything as hard as I have.

Alex hears voices inside her head. Before Eves eyes visions on the Furies come to mask Alex's face for a brief moment

Furies - Kill her Kill her Kill her!!

Alex - (shakes them off) Right that's it

Alex forms a sphere and throws it at Eve. Eve puts her hand up and the sphere fizzels out on some invisible shield. Alex is as shocked as Eve

Alex – All right that was a fluke

Alex forms another sphere and throws it at Eve again and as before Eve blocks it just by willing it.

Alex - O.K this is getting annoying!

Eve - I'm asking you one last time. Stay and we can help you fight this

Alex - If you were my friend you'd let me go

Eve - It's because you are my friend that I'm not

Alex moves to push Eve aside but Eve just punches Alex straight in the nose. Alex stumbels back looking straight up. She looks back down at Eve and her nose is bleeding.

Alex - Now that was just rude. I am trying to be gracious but you are PUSHING IT!!

Alex moves again to attack Eve but Eve bends down to kick the legs out from under Alex. Alex falls to the ground. As Eve moves to kick Alex again Alex catches her leg and flips her over. Eve crashes to the ground. Alex jumps on Eve to knock her out with her elbow but Eve dodges and is able to catch Alex from behind and gets her in a choke hold.

Eve - Alex listen to me. Just stay! W can find a way to save you. We don't have to do this.

Alex pokes Eve in the eyes making her let go. Alex gets up quickly grabs Eve by the hair and kicks her in the face making her fall on her back. Alex runs up and kicks Eve in the stomach. Eve stumbles to the side barely taking the kick but still manages to stand. Alex then manages to punch Eve in the stomach. Eve is bended over and barely able to stand as she is winded. She looks up at Alex who is smiling smugly and feeling in control..

Eve squints at Alex and sees various gods faces melding with Alex's face. Eve's eyes snap open and though she only sees Alex's face now, she knows the truth.

Eve runs and tackels Alex down at the waist. Alex is able to roll on top. She punches Eve one making Eve's nose bleed.

Alex - I owed you for that.

Eve swings her leg over and flips Alex off and over. Alex get up quickly and gets a still disoriented Eve in a choke hold

Alex - I won't let you stop me!!Are you ready to die?

Eve - I still have a mission to protect people. It's unfortunate you are what I have to protect them from.

Eve elbows Alex in the side twice. Eve twists Alex's arm back and sends Alex crashing down. Alex just then brings a knife out of her boot and swings around to slice Eve in the face. Eve swings away from Alex and touches her bleeding cheek. Alex runs at Eve with the knife and brings Eve down on her back. Alex jumps on top and the knife comes piercingly close to Eve's eye. Eve is just able to catch Alex's wrist and hold the knife away. Both Alex and Eve's hands shake as each slowly struggle with who has power over the knife. Eve manages to turn the knife away and roll on top where she somersaults over Alex getting the knife away from her. Eve stands up ready to attack with the knife. Alex is still laying on her back. She begins to laugh. She get up slowly now looking bored.

Alex - I hope you've got some hinds blood on the knife.

Eve throws the knife down

Eve - You're not Alex anymore.

Eve punches Alex twice in the face then back hands her, punches her in the chest, then uppercuts her and punches her in the chest again. Alex finally catches her arm, swings around and knees Eve in the back, then chops her in the neck. As Alex pulls back to punch her again Eve uses this opening to jump up and kick Alex in the chest wiht both feet. Eve falls down with Alex. Alex scrambles to get up to grab the knife but Eve grabs her by the shirt and flips her over. Alex gets up and turns to find Eve jumping up and corkscrew kicking her in the chest. Alex falls to the ground hard. She looks like she is not moving and that's when Eve takes a breath as she stands looking down on Alex. Just then Alex rises up from the ground looking unfazed. Eve acts quickly and runs up the wall that gives her leverage to do a handless cartwheel kicking Alex in the face. Alex get up slowly again and looks at Eve. Suddenly Alex runs at Eve screaming as she jumps up and punches Eve down. Alex then swings around and backhands Eve then punches her in the chest. Eve makes a wild swing but Alex catches her arm. Alex pulls the arm and brings her leg up over it and snap kicks Eve in the head twice. She lets go of Eve who is standing there stunned. Alex jumps up and kicks Eve in the chin making her go flying back and skids on the ground into the wall.

At this point Morgan, Craig, James and Jeff have gotten up, still aching, but have seen the battle between friends. They are all looking at her ashamed. Eve gets up slowly but leans agaisnt the wall.

Alex - Well I guess I now know who my friends are. None of you understand who I am, what I am or what I'm trying to do. So I'm going to go to the only people who truely understand me.

With that Alex sharply turns and walks out of the centre.

*flash*

James - I . . uh . .. I has a vision about you the other day (sees Alex roll her eyes) Now wait I sec Alex. I saw you walking away from everyone saying you were going to the only people who understood you. I don't want you to feel like no one cares or understands so much to the point that you need to leave.

*end flash*

James - Oh no. It's happened.

Eve - What's happened.

James - Before the fight with Arubis I had a vision of Alex. It showed her saying she was going to the only people who understood her before walking out. I didn't realize then the warning and now it's too late. She's going to the only people who understand her.

Eve - The Gods of Olympus

Cut Alex knocking on an elaborate door. A few second pass. When the door opens Cupid is standing there. He looks at Alex confused.

Alex - You said if I ever need you or anyone, you would be there because we're family. Did you mean that?

Cupid nods

Alex - Then can I come in?

Cupid steps aside and lets Alex in and he calmly closes the door behind her.
