We open with sunlight pouring into the window of Eve's apartment. We fade to where Eve is laying in bed asleep. Close up on Eve's face. Her eyes flutter open. She smiles brightly, stretches and gets out of bed.

Cut to Alex's loft. The sun shines and lights up the whole loft. We fade into Alex's room at the foot of her bed. We can't see Alex yet but there is a loud groan. Alex slowly sits up. Her eyes are half closed, her nose is red and her hair is sticking up on all sides

Alex - AH AH AHHH CHOOOO!!!! (sniff)

Cut to Craig's apartment. The sun is shining through the window. We pan over to where Craig is humming and making breakfast. The phone rings and he picks up

Craig - Hello? Oh hi Mom! . . . Yeah sure I'm fine . . . . No I'm not busy why?(stops short and eyes widen) Oh no!

Screen is cut into three section. Eve, Alex and Craig each have a close up

Eve - It's going to be a great day

Alex - It's going to be a bad day

Craig - AHHHHHHHH!

Eve is downstairs in the centre early morning. There is nobody there but the centre is open. Alex walks in, her jacket hanging off her shoulders. Her hair isn't sticking up but it's still messy. She slowly walks over to a stool by the bar and sits down. Eve has her head down reading a magazine

Eve - You're la (looks up) AHH!

Alex - Wha !? What's wrong?

Eve - Alex, you look sick.

Alex - Maybe because I am Einstein

Eve - Maybe you should go back home and get some rest

Alex - I don't know . . .

Eve - Alex, take the day off and relax. Enjoy it! Like that saying goes "When life hands you lemons, make lemonade!"

Alex - I don't think that's possible

Eve - Why not ?

Alex - AH CHOOO!!!!( As Alex's sneezes and a glass filled with juice blows up and splatters all over Eve and Alex)

Eve - Point taken.

Alex - In my loft I blew up my nightstand and my couch. If I'm gonig to replace all that stuff I can't afford to go home and relax.

Eve - (gets a cloth and starting wiping up all the juice) Well You can't afford to stay here and work either

Craig walks in

Eve - Hi Craig

Craig - We have a problem (looks at Alex) Wow Alex you look really sick

Alex - Thank you Captain Obvious

Craig -(looks at Alex for a minute and grimaces then looks back to Eve) We have to be on guard today. My brother is home

Alex - Oh this day just keeps getting worse

Eve - (confused) Craig that's not a problem.

Alex - Except you haven't met Chris. He's a black magic junkie and he's a bad dresser to boot. Looked like a biker

Craig - I looked up to him for many years. He was okay once but when he turned 16 he started hanging out with a differnt crowd. He would sometimes stay out all night and then come home the next morning on this magic high from doing these spells. Once he did one so powerful and so intoxicating that he didn't realize that the spell was actually the summons of a demon. It attacked our family and it would have killed all of us if it wasn't for . . . (trailes off remembering the night it happened.) Anyway, he left shortly after that and it broke my mother's heart.

Alex - Craig's dad really tore into him that night. He probably left because he was either ashamed or he was afraid that Craig's grandmother and mother would bind his powers.

Craig - But now he's back. Apparently he got home last night. Mom was so happy and Dad seemed really surprised too. Mom says he's changed but . .

Eve - You don't believe her.

Craig - Eve, black magic addiction is more powerful and more destructive then you could ever imagine. You can't just come back from something like that unless your powers are bound. As long as you still have the power, you still use.

Eve - Maybe he did get his powers bound, maybe he has really changed! Do you want to miss this opportunity to set things straight with your brother. You could reforge old bonds. I'd give anything to have known my grandmother, or my brother Solan.

Craig - Eve, Chris is power hungry. If he finds out your from the past or Alex is a semi god he is going find a way tap in to yours or Alex's powers. The more power you have the more intoxicating spells you can do. He'll use any power he has to get his high. I want to believe he's changed but . . .

Eve - People can change. I changed. I don't know why you're fighting this. You have a chance to make things right with your brother.

Alex - (stuffed nose) You don't understand how Chris is Eve, how bad he hurt Craig's family, how he betrayed the family, how he betrayed Craig.

Craig - Not just me, he betrayed his whole calling, an entire legacy, a families oath not to use magic for evil.

Eve - So you're hurt?

Craig - It's just . . .

Eve - You have a chance Craig, don't waste it becuase you're still angry, let it go. (perks up)Make lemonade out of your lemons!

Craig - (grimaces)Where did you dig that old saying up?

Alex - She's been saying it all morning and it's making me sick as if I wasn't already

Eve - Aw give me a break will you. I was having a good day.

Alex - AH CHOO.(the stool that Craig was sitting next to blows up)

Craig - (jumps up) What the hell was that?

Alex - It's me and my damn cold. Every time I sneeze something blows up. I don't understand. Gods don't get colds

Craig - But you're only part god. This is the first time you had to deal with mortality and mortal problems since your godhood was activated. The god part of you must be doing some antibiotic thing and trying to fight off and adapt to the virus in your system.

Alex - Thanks for the diagnosis Doctor Do - Nothing

Eve - Let's just hope this isn't a new power she developing. Alex, Goddess of sneezing, can blow a building up in a single sneeze!

Craig laughs

Alex - You're a laugh riot, seriously I'm dying here.

Eve - Is it just me or is she snappier when she's sick?

Voice from out side - Yoo Hoo! Is anyone in here!? Craig!?

Craig - Oh no it's Chris! Damn, Mom must have told him I'd be here! We've got to get you out of here. We've got to get Alex out of here. We've got (Chris walks in with a suit one and his hair slicked back) to get me glasses because I think I'm seeing things

Eve- You said he was bad dresser

Alex - I retract the statement

Chris - Hey bro! I'm back

Craig - Chris?

Chris - Like the new look?

Craig - It's different

Chris - Hey I've changed.

Craig - (not believing him)Really?

Eve - Craig!

Chris - I don't blame you for thinking different. Black magic addiction is hard to get over.

Craig - You hurt a lot of people.

Chris - I know and I'm really ashamed. I took a good look at my life after I left and I was not happy. It took me eleven years but I finally learned to kick it and get back on the right track. (laughs a little) I guess you could say life handed me some lemons and I made lemonade!

Alex - Oh gross! Craig you're not falling for this are you? And is that "lemons" thing the saying of the day?

Chris - (sighs)Alex . . . (looks at her and grimaces a little) Nice you see you again . . . sort of

Alex - Back off Romeo, and who did you're hair? A greaser!

Chris - Oh Alex, I've missed you and your little quirks( pats her on the head) You know you look beautiful with a runny nose

Alex - I'll have you know . . . ah AH AHHH!!

Eve and Craig lunge forward to stop Alex from sneezing but she doesn't and they both sigh relieved

Eve - I think I'm going to take Alex upstairs and lie her down

Eve helps Alex up and they exit to the backroom

Craig - So . . .

Alex - (voice from the backroom) AHCHOOO!!

We hear the sound of something blowing up

Chris - What was that?

Eve pokes her head out of the door

Eve - It's okay. It is okay. I just tripped and knocked something over. Just a little accident. It's no problem

Craig - (turns back to Chris with a strained smile)Anyway. . . Uh . . . How've you been?

Chris - Changing.

Craig - So I keep hearing.

Chris - I really messed up when that monster I accidentally summoned came and attacked us.

Craig - That wasn't an accident. You knew there would be a price to pay when you use dark magic to get high.

Chris - Yeah I know. And you're right. But I've found away around that now.

Craig - What do you mean? The only way to get over it is to give up dark magic?

Chris - (hesitates) . . . Sure. No more dark magic (Craig looks at him sceptically) I promise.

Craig - (sighs) Well, look I have to go to work but we can get together for dinner at mom's later. We can talk

Chris - Sure no problem. Hey, maybe I can hang around here for awhile. Get to know Eve a little better. She's pretty cute huh?(leans in close to Craig) I was talking to Karen. Is it true? Is she the Messenger of Eli?

Craig - Uh . . . That's not really important. Why don't you just go home. I'm sure Mom would like to hear your life's story . . . again

Chris - (sighs knowing Craig doesn't believe him but smiles anyway) Sure.

Cut to upstairs in Eve's apartment. Eve is ushering Alex into her apartment

Alex - I don't like him. He's sleaze. No, he's worse then sleaze he makes sleaze look good

Eve - Who now?

Alex - Chris. Craig's whole family is Wicca and Chris disgraces them all with his use of black magic.

Eve - He's changed though

Alex - Yeah right and I'm the tooth fairy. AHCHOO! (Eve's Eli symbol blows up)

Eve - ALEX!!

Alex - Sorry!

Eve - Go lie down. (pushes Alex in to her room and then walks out of her apartment back to the centre)

Cut to outside the centre. Craig and Chris are standing outside as Craig goes to get in his car

Craig - Come on I'll give you a ride to Mom's

Chris - Why? Mom's house is in an opposite direction to NYU. You will waste gas and be late for work. Go on, I'll catch a cab to Mom's

Craig - Are you sure?

Chris - Yeah go on now

Craig gives one more sceptic look to Chris who just smiles back. Craig gets in to his car and drives off. Chris waves until Craig's car rounds the counter. As soon as the car rounded the corner Chris puts his hand down and glares

Close up on Chris's face as he rolls his eyes

Chris - What a geek (he turns around and faces the centre and blows blue dust over the entrance before strutting in)

COMMERCIAL

Cut to inside Eve comes out of the back room into the centre just as Chris walks in.

Eve - Where's Craig?

Chris - Oh he went off to work. But I thought I'd stay for a while, maybe get to know you better. You know, I've heard a lot of interesting things about you

Eve - Like what?

Chris - Well . . .

We hear a sneeze and the faint sound of something blowing up from upstairs

Chris - Now what was that?

Eve - Nothing!

Chris - Maybe I should go upstairs and check if Alex is okay

Chris walks over to the entrance of the backroom but Eve jumps in front of him to block his way.

Eve - You can't go up there . . . You might catch her cold

Chris glares at Eve but then smiles. He spekas in latin and suddenly Eve is flung backward crashing into the boxes and crates in the backroom. She slips into unconsciousness. Chris walks over to her looking down upon her. He puts his hand on her head

Chris - Now let's find out if you are really the messenger of Eli

We hear another sneeze and something blow up. Chris turns is head to the stairs from where the sound seems to be coming from and leaves Eve alone and ventures upstairs to find out what that was.

Cut to Eve's bedroom. Feathers and shreds of pillow case are floating around. Pan over to Alex who is laying in Eve's bed looking a little upset.

Chris walks in

Chris - Well hi there

Alex - (groans) puleeze Chris I'm really sick and I don't need you hanging around and making things worse

Chris - (fake sickly sweet voice)Well it's just that I heard something blow up and I rushed up here to see if you were alright

Alex - I got upset with sneezing and took out a gun and shot at a pillow. There, satisfied? Now go.

Chris - You are a really bad liar. You want to tell me what's going on?(moves to the bed)

Alex - Wait. Where's Eve?

Chris - Downstairs.(leans in close to Alex as she tries to scoot away from him)

Eve - Not anymore

Chris stands up quickly and turns around to see Eve standing there

Eve - Get away from her!

Chris - I was just seeing if she was okay (walks out of the bedroom )

Eve - Are you okay Alex?

Alex - I'm fine but where were you

Eve - Downstairs unconscious. I think Chris put a whammy on me

Alex - See See. What did I tell you? He's sleaze

Eve - I think he's still into black magic. I've got to call Craig

Eve picks up the phone in her room and dials

Craig (voice on the phone) - Hello?

Eve - Craig I think you are right about Chris. I think he's still into black magic. He used some sort of spell to throw me into a wall with enough force that in knocked me out.

Craig(voice) - Damn it! Okay I'm on my way. Don't let him near Alex. I'll try to be there as quick as I can.

Eve - Alright. I'll hold him off but please hurry. You know how to handle magic better than I.

Eve puts down the phone.

Eve - He's on his way he should be here soon.

Cut to Chris standing at the doorway of Eve's apartment listening in.

Chris -(whispers) No I don't think so.(Chris runs over to the open window and blows some dust from his hand. We see the orange dust swirl out the window and spread out over the roads.) I think Craig is going to hit a little traffic jam.

Chris runs out of Eve's apartment.

Cut the backroom of the centre. Eve walks out of her apartment and downstairs

Cut to the centre. It is still deserted. Only Chris stands there. Eve stops short when she sees him upon entering.

Eve - What are you still doing here?

Chris - Just hanging. Busy little spot you've got here(sarcasm in the tone)

Eve - So business is a little slow. Or maybe you did something to make it that way

Chris - (looks at Eve and smiles) Who knows? Maybe I did, maybe I just want a little alone time with you. I've heard a lot of things about you I just want to know if they are true. Are you the Messenger of Eli?

Eve just looks at him not answering

Chris - (smirks) It doesn't matter anyway. Because now I've got bigger fish to fry.(A blast comes from his hand which sends Eve flying in to the wall. He runs over to her on the ground and punches her knocking her out with one hard blow

COMMERCIAL

Cut to the centre. Eve is sitting there by the bar tied up with her mouth gagged. We pan over to Chris's back. He is stripping off his jacket to reveal a leather vest and white shirt. He takes off his pants to reveal leather pants underneath. Then he takes his hands to his head and runs it through his hair really messing it up.

Chris - Ah! That's better! What do you think?

Eve just glares at him. We hear another sneeze from upstairs and something blows up

Chris - Well, if you excuse me, my date awaits.

As Chris exits Eve looks up on top of the bar and sees a glass. She turns around and bangs the bar with her feet until the glass shakes off the edge and crashes on the floor. Eve scoots over and picks up a shard of glad and starts to saw the rope

Chris walks into Eve's room and sees Alex lying there. She sees him and her eyes narrow.

Alex - The return of the biker. What do you want?

Chris - Just to talk. You are doing some . . . unusual things (moves closer)

Alex - Well you look unusual, what's the big deal?

Chris continues to advance on Alex but she quickly scoots of the bed into a defensive stance.

Alex - Back off Chris

Chris - Or what? You'll give me your cold?

Alex - AHCHOO!!(A lamp shatters and glass flies everywhere. Chris ducks covers his head from the flying debris )

Alex runs over and tackels Chris down. Alex is unsually weak so Chris can fight her off. His eyes glow red and suddenly Alex is thrown back off him.

Chris - Well that interesting. You sneeze and something blows up. Let's see what you are.(Chris advances on her with his hands open wide

Cut to Eve on the ground, hands tied behind her back. Close up on the glass shard breaking though the rope. Eve cuts through one strand and breaks the rest on her own.

Eve - (ungags her self) Yes (unties her legs and stands up looks around) Where's Craig? He should have been here by now.

Cut to Craig in his car. He is stuck in a massive traffic jam. He beeps his horn several times then slams his fist down on the wheel realising he's getting nowhere. Right then and there he makes the decision and gets out of his car and continue on to the Centre on foot.

Cut to Chris is Eve's bedroom advancing on Alex. Her hand begins to glow and as she is about to throw a lightening ball at him but it diffuses in her hand

Alex - Oh No!

Chris - (laughs) Looks like all your power is in the sneeze. Oh well, we can take care of that.

Alex is too weak to get up. He advances on Alex and puts his hand on her head. His hands start to glow and a glow surrounds Alex but is begins to fade. He sucking up her life force. Chris looks at her in surprised

Chris - You're a demi god!

Alex begins to scream. Just then Eve jumps on Chris's back shaking him off of Alex who slumps to the ground in a semi consious

Chris throws Eve off his back

Chris - What is your problem?!!!

Eve - I was having a good day! The sun was shining I was healthy and happy but you threw me into a pile of boxes, tied me up and punched me out. You are so going to pay for ruining my good spirits!!!(does a round house kick and kicks him in the face)

Chris - (unfazed by the kick) I'm in a good mood today too. I recentrly acquired the powers of a sucubus. I had to pay a high price but nothing compares to the powers I've been stealing. I've learned how to get the ultimate power high by stealing other peoples powers.

Eve kicks him in the stomach then flips back and kicks him in the face sending him landing on his butt.

Chris - Okay little girl, that one hurt! Now you're going to pay!

Chris picks her up by the neck and throws her into her Eli shrine

Cut to Craig. He runs up to the centre he's about to walk in when he fines himself turning away from the door. He stops and looks back at the door. He walks up to it again and finds himself turning away. He put his hands up and moves them in a circular motion.

Craig - There is some sort a force field blocking the door(peers at the door closely he sees blue dust)You've thought of everything didn't you Chris (Puts his ands up facing the door to the centre) The shield that has been put in place. Seperate.

Craig spreads his arms wide and the blue dust is lifted from the door. He runs in

Cut to Chris in Eve's apartment. Chris is throwing blue energy spheres at her and Eve is dodging them but just barely.

Chris - This God stuff rocks!!

Eve, out of breath leans against a wall. He walks over to her.

Eve - (put her arms up) In the name of Eli and all the powers in heaven I command this evil to be cast out!

A blue light comes out of her hands and passes through Chris. He looks stunned for a moment then smiles

Chris - That doesn't work on me! I still have a soul

Eve - However faint it may be.

Chris - I was going to leave you alone when I found out about Alex but now you've really pissed me off (grabs a hold of Eve's head and stars sucking the life force out of her like he did with Alex)

Eve begins to scream then all of a sudden Chris sneezes such a fierce sneeze he lets go of Eve and flies back to land on his back

Chris - What the hell?

Eve - Looks like when you stole Alex's power you got her cold too!(kicks Chris in the face and scoots away from him)

Chris - So!(gets up to attack Eve again but he gets tapped on the shoulder)

Pan around and we see Craig

Craig - Hi there! (punches Chris in the face) Oh Yeah! I've wanted to do that for a long time.(Grabs Chris by the hair)

Chris - Not the hair! Not the hair! Bro, Bro, listen to me! I'm sorry! I didn't mean it!

Craig - Shut up Chris!(puts his other hand to Eve's head)Let the power that Chris stole leave his body and make Eve whole

A blue light leaves Chris's body and seeps into Eve. She looks a lot stronger now. She grabs Chris from Craig and throws him head first into a wall knocking him out. Craig just looks at her

Eve - He ruined my day. Don't look me like that just help me get him into my room. He stole Alex's life force too.

Craig and Eve drag Chris into Eve's room where Alex lay on the floor motionless. They lay Chris next too her. Craig put his hand on Chris's head then on Alex's

Craig - The power which Chris stole be returned to Alex and make her whole

Again a blue light streams out of Chris and into Alex. She wakes up

Alex - Wha . . ? What happened

Eve - Chris. He stole your life force. We got it back

Alex - What did I tell you?(sniffs) Hey! My cold's gone!

Eve - AHCHOO!!

Craig - Oops! I must have given you Alex's cold when I was transferring the power Chris stole back to you

Eve - Well give it back!

Alex begins to back away slowly

Alex - Well, we can't for two reasons. One, we really can't afford more things to be blown up by me

Eve - What's the second?

Alex - You'd have to catch me first(runs out of the apartment)

COMMERCIAL

Cut to Alex, Craig and Chris. downstairs in the centre. Chris's hands are tied and he is espessially weak from the power transfer

Craig - My grandmother had a spell in her book for just an occassion. (looks to Chris) She seemed to foresee the path you'd go down. That addiction has a predictable road. She'd knew you'd get the powers of a sucubus so she got a spell to overcome them. I just want to know how you got those powers. You don't become a sucubus over night.

Chris - Don't concern yourself with the business of scary people Little Bro. It's a road you don't want to go down.

Alex - Well thanks to you and that spell you cast over the centre to prevent people from coming here, I've had no business all day! For your sake, you better hope my business isn't ruined

Craig - Don't worry, I got rid of the dust

Chris - So it was a brilliant plan, you didn't have to use Grandma's spell to bind my powers.

Craig - It was the only way to stop you and it will last long enough for me to get you home

Chris - (Eyes widen) You wouldn't

Craig - The only person capable of stopping you and more able than me is Mom. She'll bind your powers for good. But that's why you left in the first place isn't it? So she couldn't bind them eleven years ago.

Chris - One thing you'll realize as you get older is that power is the only thing that matters. Those with the power get to make all the rules and those who were born with it shouldn't be anything less then what they are.

Alex - Well you're less then scum so the binding of your powers will be a step for you.

Craig - Don't look so sad Chris. Look at it this way. This is the perfect chance to take the lemons life has handed you and make lemonade

Chris - I never did like that saying

Cut to Eve's room. Alex walks in with a box. Eve in lying on her bed with out any pillows. Her eyes are puffy and her nose is red

Alex - Hi.

Eve - I don't like you. Did you know that? I am really not liking you at all right now.

Alex - I know. I brought you something (pulls out pillows and puts them under Eve's head then take out a lamp to set it on the nightstand) Pillows to replace the ones a blew up and a new lamp. And I'm working on getting a new Eli symbol for your shrine.

Eve - Thanks.

Alex - Now remember, get plenty of rest and drink plenty of juice to get that vitamin c and you know nothing has more vitamin c then citrus juice.

Eve - What do you mean?

Alex - (takes out a glass of lemonade) Drink up!

Eve just stares at it wide eyed and afraid.
