Open with a pan around the Statue of Liberty on a sunny day. Flash to a pan over Manhattan’s busy streets. Flash to outside the Centre as cars drive past. Fade to the sign on the door that says "Closed for Private Party" Fade to inside the centre.

We pan over to Alex and James looking over a group of high school students dancing to some music but most of them are looking at a boy with a baseball bat swinging it around like he's drunk. Pan back to Alex and James who are shaking their heads

James - Never again

Alex - This is the last time I'm doing this.

James - If you and Eve aren't getting a car why is Eve learning how to drive?

Alex - Jeff thought it would be a good idea. He offered to teach her. All I can say is better him then me.

James - Why is that?

Alex - I fear of my life.

James - She can't be that bad

Cut to out side the centre. A car goes speeding past with the sound of . .

Jeff's Voice - NO EVE NO!!

Cut back to the centre. The boy with the baseball bat suddenly puts a hole into the wall and the kids start laughing.

Alex - Oh no!

Alex and James run down to the main level where the kids are laughing. James grabs a few bottles from them and sniffs them.

James - It's alcohol

Alex - This was supposed to be a no drinking party. I'm going to have to ask you kids to leave

Girl - No way! This is my party. I paid for this place

Alex - No, your "Daddy" paid to rent this place and I let him rent it under the agreement there would be no alcohol. Agreement broken, party's off.

Boy with bat - No way Bitch

The Boy swings the bat at Alex and just as he brings it down on her head Alex catches it with one hand. The boy pulls at the bat trying to get it free from her grasp but with no avail.

Alex - Bad move Sparky (Pulls the bat from the boy's grasp) Now I suggest all of you leave

Girl - No way. There's more of us then you and I say we stay!

Group of teenagers - Yeah!

Voice of a man - No!

Everyone turns around. A tall dark haired man in a suit and a faint Scottish accent comes in

Girl - Just like Daddy to send his lawyer

Man - And he told me to check up on you but now I see I must bring you home. Come. All of you! Move it!

The kids don't move

Man - Move or I'll arrange to have all of you thrown in jail

All the teenagers groan and walk out of the centre. Alex just stands there dumbstruck. Until James nudges her.

Alex - Uh! Thanks.

Man - (turns around and smiles) Aidan MacDonald. Lawyer. Sorry about those kids

Alex - (shakes his hand) Alex. Owner. Oh and this is James

Aidan - Nice to meet you. Do you mind if I use your phone?

Alex - Huh?

Aidan - Your phone? The battery in my cell just went dead

James nudges Alex again

Alex - Yeah sure. Up behind the bar

Aidan smiles and walks off and Alex just lets her mouth drop. James just shakes his head smiling.

Cut to Aidan at the bar using the phone.

Aidan - (whispers) She's not here. But her friend is and I think I can work with that.

Cut to out side the centre. A car screeches to a stop as it drives up on the side walk. Close up of Eve and Jeff in the car. Eve is smiling but Jeff looks like he's going to be sick

Eve - I think that went well.

Jeff runs out of the car into the centre. Eve just rolls her eyes and gets out of the car. She looks at a couple walking past holding hands and smiling

Eve(voice over commentary) - Love. It is a powerful emotion. Once upon a time it meant nothing to me. Power, wealth and status were the only things in my mind. Did I ever truly love anyone in that time? I knew only passion and lust but I thought it was love. I knew no different. Ares presented me with a choice and I chose power. I wonder where I would have been if I had chosen love. Could it have saved me? Is love enough to save the people I love now?

Cut to inside the centre as Jeff runs past Alex and James to the bathrooms.

Alex - Told ya!

James and Alex smile as they walk up to Aidan who has just finished using the phone.

Aidan - Thanks for the phone

Alex - (Alex still can't find the words. James nudges her again)You're welcome.

Aidan - Listen, I really feel we should talk about the damages done to your establishment. Perhaps we can work out an agreement

Alex - Sure

Aidan - (takes out a card and writes his home phone number on the back and then hands it to Alex) My card. Please, don't hesitate to call.

Aidan gives a smile and a wink and walks out

Alex - Come again!( Alex stops herself in embarrassment at her own words) Come again? What the hell am I thinking? Am I mental?

James - No, just hopeless

Alex gives James and angry glare

Cut to outside the centre. Aidan walks out. Eve's back is to him and she thinks it's Jeff

Eve - I was beginning to wonder if you were coming out aga . . .( Turns around and turns white at the sight of Aidan) Tristan?

Flashback

Cut to Ancient Britannia. Livia and her troops are walking past Celtic men who are dressed in plaid and armor. The men have long hair and their faces are dirty but they stand tall and proud. Around them dead bodies lay. Livia looks at them with disgust but smirks at the sight.

Livia - You savages have been spared because you are the strongest of your pathetic army. You fought well but in vain. We are impressed by your bravery. We will spare your lives and in exchange you will become part of our army. You will join us in our battles.

Man - (thick Scottish accent) We will never join the likes of you. You will have to kill us. It would be a better fate

Livia - And who are you?

Man - I am Tristan son of Isaac

Livia - Well Tristan son of Isaac (Livia pulls out a knife and throws it square in the chest of the man behind Tristan. He falls down dead) Don't tempt me

Livia walks to her tent as soon as she gets inside Tristan lets out a roar of rage. He punches out a guard and takes his sword. He stabs the sword into the chest of another guard and slices the head off of another and runs to the tent. Another Roman guard steps in his way. Tristan stabs the guard in the foot with his sword then grabs the guard by the neck and takes him inside Livia's tent.

Inside Livia's tent Livia whips around angry when he just barges in. They stare each other dead in the eyes and Tristan snaps the neck of the guard. Livia curls her lip as the guard falls dead on the ground. Tristan pants heavily and Livia smiles cruelly. They look into each other's eyes before more Roman soldiers run into the tent and take hold of Tristan.

Livia - No! Leave us! And take that corpse with you.

The Romans salute Livia and pick up the dead body and drag him out. Livia and Tristan are alone.

Livia - Who do you think you are?

Tristan - One who will not be under the rule of someone like you

Livia - Wrong. You're a dead man

Livia kicks him in the stomach she goes to kick Tristan again but he grabs her foot. Livia just jumps up and kicks him in the face causing Tristan to let go of her other foot

Tristan - (state of shock) How do you know such moves? You are a woman

Livia - Wrong again. I am the Champion of Rome.

Livia goes to punch him but he blocks all her advances. Tristan goes to kick her but she also blocks him. Livia charges at him but he does the move that soon will become remembered as Livia's trademark move. Livia lands on her stomach stunned. As she gets up she is pushed on to her back as she finds a sword at her neck.

Tristan - Give me one good reason why I shouldn't kill you

Livia -I can give you more why you should but maybe we can find a reason why you shouldn't

Livia looks up at him with a lustful stare and leads back on her elbows and gets in to a seductive position.

Tristan takes the sword away from her neck hesitantly and Livia smirks as she stands up

Tristan - Don't look at me that way you manipulative Bitch!

Livia - Savage!

Tristan - Whore!

Livia - Animal!

Tristan screams out loud and moves to punch her but Livia grabs his arm and throws him on to the ground and she straddles him. She leads down and kisses him lightly on the cheek moving to his ear

Livia - You are a skilled fighter. I want you to join my army. I will make my second in command.

Tristan - Why would I want to do that?

Livia - (sighs)You want your lands, keep them. You want your people free, you can rule over them all. Convince your people to side with the Romans and you will be the most powerful man in all Britannia.

Tristan - And what do you get out of this

Livia - (laughs seductively)The pleasure of your company. Perhaps you can even teach me some moves

Tristan - I think I might need some more convincing.

Tristan rolls on top of Livia in a quick move and they kiss passionately

End Flashback

Eve just stares back at Aidan not knowing what to think.

Aidan - Excuse me?

Eve - Tristan?

Aidan - I'm sorry you have the wrong man!

Aidan walks to his convertible and gets in. Eve just stares at him in utter disbelief.

COMMERCIAL

Cut to inside the centre. Alex is looking at a picture of her and Craig. James comes up beside her.

James - Thinking about Craig? What brought this on?

Alex - It's not like I ever stop thinking about him but . . .I don't know. This is going to sound stupid but I like being desired.

James - Oh you mean Aidan! Yeah I think he likes you too.

Alex - And I like that. When he looked at me there he made me feel like I'm worth having.

James - You feel like you're not?

Alex - Well demon hunting isn't the most glamorous or people accessible job. You tend to cling to those who know the truth. Any one outside the circle could turn against you or be used as bait in a battle. But every now and then I wonder what it would be like to give up that life. Aidan is the kind of guy I could see myself having a life with. (shakes her head) What am I talking about? I only just met the guy and I'm planning my wedding?

James - So what's stopping you from calling him?

Alex - (holds up the photo) I feel like I'm betraying Craig and his memory if I do get with Aidan and move on with my life and give up what I promised Craig.

James - Alex it's okay to feel happy, to want the things that you do. Even if you do go out with this guy that doesn't mean you have to change your whole life for him. Craig would want you to be happy. So give the guy a call, if it turns out to be something then have fun for once, be happy. You don't have to mourn all the time.

Alex thinks about it for a moment and then smiles

Eve walks into the centre. She's stunned.

Alex - Eve?

Eve - Who was that man?

Alex - You mean the total hottie who was just here? Aidan MacDonald (holds up his card) Lawyer.

James - Alex has a crush!

Eve grabs the card out of Alex's hand and looks it over.

Alex- Hey! Eve what is wrong with you? You look like you've seen a ghost!

Eve - I think I have.

Fade from Eve to demon hunting that night. Alex and Eve are walking on along the cemetery grounds.

Eve - It was really creepy Alex. It was a flash from the past and not in a good way at all.

Alex - When are your blasts from the past ever good? I mean Ares, Livia, Lucifer.

Eve - I swear it was him

Alex - It wasn't. How could it be?

Eve - Stranger things have happened

Alex - Very true.

Alex and Eve hear two different screams coming from two different directions.

Alex - Let's split up!

Eve nods and goes running in the direction of one scream while Alex goes the other way.

Cut to Eve running through the cemetery jumping over head stones. She sees a man being attacked by a demon. Eve runs over to the man just as He jumps up and does Livia's classic move. He flips the demon over and jumps up, brings out a sword and slices the demon's head off. Eve is stunned. The man turns around. It's Aidan. He smirks. Eve sees the sword he's carrying

Flashback

Livia watches Tristan training with the other men. He knocks several of them down. He turns around and smiles at her as he swings his clan sword around.

End Flashback

Eve sees the clan sword he's holding.

Aidan - (Out of breath) Livia. I wasn't expecting you. I was hoping to run into Alex

Eve - (breathless) I knew it was you. You're supposed to be . . .

Aidan - Dead? Oh yes Tristan is dead. You killed him long ago Livia. It's Aidan now

Eve - Well as long as were getting names straight you should know Livia that is dead as well. My name is Eve

Aidan - Really? How enterprising! Many people said Livia had just dropped of the planet when I came looking for you. And now 2000 years later here you are. Hiding? Very clever. I guess you knew people like me would be coming after you. He told me you'd be here in New York.

Eve - Who told you?

Aidan - That's for me to know.

Eve - What do you want?

Aidan - You ruined my life. Now I'm going to ruin yours. How's Alex by the way?

Eve - You stay away from her! I'm going to tell her all about you. I'll tell everyone

Aidan - (laughs) I'm a respectable lawyer. You try to expose me and I'll deny it. And who do you think people will believe? Me, a respected citizen, or you, a Looney talking about a man from the past coming to kill you? Even your own friend will turn against you.

Aidan laughs and walks off. Eve is shaken and does not know what to do.

Eve walks back to the point where she left Alex and finds her waiting there.

Alex - False alarm on my end. What about you?

Eve just walks past Alex not saying anything. Alex looks at her curiously not knowing what to say to a very shaken up Eve.

Cut to the next day. Eve is in her apartment. She paces looking very nervous. James walks in and sees this.

James - Hey, Alex said you were pretty upset. What's going on?

Eve - (stops) How much to you know about this Aidan?

James - (shrugs) Not much, I mean apart from what I see on television. This dude is a top defense lawyer, best in the state. He's highly respectable, I think he was awarded citizen of the year once. People love him and he seems like a nice guy. Alex is in to him too.

Eve- What?

James - Yeah and he seems to like her

Eve - This is not good

James - I told her she should give him a call

Eve - Why would you do that?!!!

James - What?

Eve - That man is dangerous.

James - I don't think so. He likes her, she likes him. (walks over to Eve and tries to calm her down) What's the problem?

Eve - (bats his hand away) You don't know what you've done

James - Eve.

Eve just shakes her head and turns away. James takes her arm.

Flashback

Cut to a battle field. The Romans and the Celts are charging together. Flashes of plaid and Roman armor flash past. They are attacking the rebel forces. Heading the fight screaming like a mad man is Tristan. He swings his sword around slashing soldiers left and right. Livia rides in on her horse. Slashing solders as she rides through. She flips off her horse and stabs a soldier in the chest as she lands. Tristan and Livia are pressed back to back. They look at each other and smile.

Flash to Livia's tent where Tristan and Livia are looking intently into each other's eyes smiling. They are both covered in dirt and blood

Flash back to the battle field. Livia stabs a soldier in the stomach with her sword and kicks him off. Tristan cuts the head off of another soldier with a vicious roar.

Flash to Livia's tent. Tristan lets out a low growl as Livia takes off his armor. He turns around and grabs Livia and kisses her. He grips her arms tight

Flash to the battle field. Tristan slashes soldiers in the chest. He grabs on man turns him around and slits his throat. Livia gets her arm cut by one man. She turns around and kicks the sword out of his hand them punches him down. She brings her sword down on his head and kills him.

Flash back to Livia's tent. Livia pushes Tristan away then punches him. She then grabs his head and pulls him in for a searing kiss

Interchange scenes where there is a battle and Livia and Tristan are fighting being covered in the blood as they slash and stab and decapitate soldiers to scenes where Livia and Tristan are in bed kissing

Flash to the battlefield Livia and Tristan stab a Briton soldier at the same time.

Flash back to Livia's tent. Tristan falls on top of Livia in bed. Both Livia and Tristan a sweaty and gasping for air. Tristan rolls off Livia. Both are smiling.

Livia - You are a savage!

Tristan just laughs

Livia - We are planning another attack. Will your men be ready?

Tristan - Always

Livia - A lover and a fighter. I can't wait to take you back to Rome and show you off

Tristan sighs and rolls out of bed. He begins to put on his cloths

Livia - (frowns) That's what you want isn't it? To come back with me to Rome? You could get medals of valor for your service. You can become an actual Commander of Roman legion.

Tristan - I'm not a Roman Livia

Livia - You could have me. Completely

Tristan - (sighs) I know you have to go back to Rome to report to the Emperor but couldn't you come back and be with me

Livia - (looks at him in disgust) And become a farmers wife? I'm the adopted daughter of the Emperor. Rome is my home!

Tristan - And Scotland is mine!!

Livia - (gets up and wraps the blanket around her) Well maybe we can travel together. Claim more land for Rome

Tristan - Scotland isn't part of Rome Livia. That wasn't part of the deal.

Livia - This is all just a deal to you!

Tristan - I meant the part where Scotland fights along side Rome as long as we keep our lands and our heritage

Livia - As Romans! But what about us, don't you want to be together? Wouldn't you do anything for us.

Tristan - I don't know if I want to give up my identity and my home just for us.

Tristan walks out of the tent leaving Livia with a death glare on his retreating back.

End Flashback

James pulls away from Eve in shock

James - What the hell was that!

James backs toward the door

Eve - Did you see something?

James - Your past. Aidan was there but . . .he wasn't . . .

Eve - It was Tristan. Aidan is Tristan. He's immortal somehow and he coming to kill me. He's going to hurt Alex.

James - I don't understand any of this

Eve - (grabs on to James) Aidan is not who is says he is. He is going to hurt Alex. You have to help me convince her to stay away from him

James - (pries her hands of him) I saw a lot more then you think and I really don't appreciate you thinking about your ex boy friends while we're together.

Eve - James! Wait, it's not like that . . .

James - Just back off okay.

James walks out of Eve's apartment. Eve sits down on her couch upset and puts her head in her hands

COMMERCIAL

Cut to the centre downstairs. James runs out past Alex and Jeff.

Alex - What wrong with him?

Eve comes running out of the backroom

Eve - James!! (sees James is gone) Oh no!

Alex - What's going on?

Eve - This is so bad! (walks back through to the backroom)

Alex - What is with people today!

Aidan - Excuse me?

Alex turns around and her jaw drops at the sight of Aidan. Jeff looks from Aidan to Alex. He smiles a little bit and looks the other way

Alex - Hi. I was hoping you'd be back

Aidan - Really?

Alex - (realizes what she said) I mean, you left your wallet. Sorry (Pulls in out of her pant pocket) Here it is.

Aidan - You kept it in your pocket?

Alex - Yeah! For safe keeping. There are sticky fingers around here you know.(smiles)

Aidan - Well I don't so much mind now that I've gotten a better look at your smile.

Alex - Oh (blushes) Thank you.

Aidan - Would you like to join me for din . . .

Alex - Yes! . . . I mean sure. I'd like to.

Aidan - Wonderful! Shall I pick you up for seven

Alex - Sure! I'll give you directions to my loft

Aidan - Actually I'm terrible at following direction. How about I just meet you here?

Alex - Oh . . Okay sure.

Aidan - See you at seven (winks)

As Aidan leaves Alex turns around and pumps a yes in the air and does a little dance. Jeff just eyes her strangely

Jeff - Alex, are you sure that was a good idea? I mean, you barely know the guy

Alex - Oh please, everyone knows him. He's on T.V.!

Jeff - Yeah I know about Aidan MacDonald but that's not what I meant.

Alex - Wait a sec! It's four o clock. I have exactly three hours to look better then I ever have in my life. Got to go. Tell Eve to lock up

Alex takes off like a bat out of hell out of the centre. Jeff just shakes his head and goes upstairs to check on Eve.

Cut to Eve's apartment. Jeff knocks on the door and Eve answers

Eve - Hi

Jeff - Hi. Why so blue?

Eve - Well James and his visionary powers caught a glimpse of a memory from my past.

Jeff - So?

Eve - It was a memory of a past lover

Jeff - Yikes!

Eve - It gets worse. The man he saw is immortal and he's out for my head because of what I did to him as Livia.

Jeff - Livia? I just thought your were a prophet for Eli in the past

Eve - Oh that's right. You don't know my whole story. If you set aside a few hours I'll tell you about it some time.

Jeff - I have time tonight. Oh by the way Alex left early to prepare for a date. She wants you to lock up

Eve - (getting worried) Date? With who?

Jeff - Aidan.

Eve - What?!? Oh No!

Jeff - What's wrong?

Eve -That's Tristan!

Jeff - Are you sure?

Eve - Yes!! I ruined his life when I was Livia. I don’t' know how he's immortal but he wants me dead and he's using Alex. We've got to go after her!

Jeff - (grabs on to her) Hold on a second. If what you're saying is true we can't just go spreading that kind of thing around. This guy is well respected you know

Eve - I know! He threatened me last night. He told me Alex won't believe me if he has people like "The Mayor" backing him up! But I can't lose her.

Jeff - This is huge Eve.

Eve - Please Jeff, you have to believe me.

Jeff - (nods) I do. I don't believe Aidan's so squeaky clean either. I did a case involving him a while back. But we need something to back what you say up so we can get Alex back on our side.

Eve - We've got to something and fast.

Jeff - Just a minute. I had a thought (Goes over to Eve's computer and opens up a police investigations site and brings up Aidan's profile with a picture) Is this your guy?

Eve - That's him! How did he get on here?

Jeff - We keep track off all leads on cases we do. Two years ago I was working on a case. We were thinking a murder that had just happened recently might be linked to a murder that happened thirty years ago because of the similarities.

Eve - What happened?

Jeff - A guy named Aidan Macdonald was murdered. When I brought up the old case I found he was linked to a Declan Green. Declan was thought to have murdered Aidan to inherited his fortune. (brings up the profile of Declan. The man is identical to the current Aidan) However, Declan died a few days later and since he was the only lead the case went cold and was dropped.

Eve - What happened to the fortune?

Jeff - A distant relative also named Aidan MacDonald inherited it.

Eve - Interesting

Jeff - As it turns out this case has nothing to do with the one I was working on but it did have to do with another case of a Declan Green being murdered fifty years prior. It was thought that Declan Green's Butler, Patrick Tennant killed him but Patrick disappeared and Declan's estranged son also named Declan Green inherited his father's fortune

Eve - So ?

Jeff - You're not going to believe this

Jeff brings up Patrick Tennant's photo and it is identical to Declan Green and Aidan MacDonald.

Eve - They are all Tristan! How come you've never brought any of this up to the other officers.

Jeff - No one believed me and it wasn't pertinent to the current case. I was told to let it go. At best, it was identity theft. But I do think that these cases are linked together by more then coincidence.

Eve - (nods piecing together the puzzle)Tristan couldn't have lived all this time as the same man. He had to hide, he had to assume new identities, new fortunes. He'd lay low with an unassuming identity, kill the man he worked for or got close to, then assume a new identity gaining the fortune of the man he killed.

Jeff - We're not just dealing with a murderer here. We're dealing with . . .

Eve - An immortal. One who wants revenge and one who's dating Alex!!(makes a move to leave)

Jeff - No! Eve, he's probably meeting with her soon. I need to get to her first with this information. I'll warn her. You stay here and lock yourself in.

Eve - But . . .

Jeff - You don't know what this guy has up his sleeve. He is well known in this city. He could get you locked up. We have to be careful about how we handle this and you need to stay safe. I'll bring Alex here, we'll figure out what to do from there.

Eve nods her head and Jeff leaves.

Cut to outside the centre just as Jeff leaves. After he leaves Aidan comes out of the shadows from behind the building. He walks over to the entrance and looks up at the building.

Flashback

Tristan sits at a fire looking at Livia's tent from across the way. A fellow soldier walks up to him

Man - Are you sure you want to do this?

Tristan - Yes. She can give us everything we desire. If I pretend to ally myself with Rome and insinuate myself among them we could learn how they work and we can take over Rome. Then we'd be the dominant empire!

Man - And would you be Emperor?

Tristan - (shrugs) It would be only right. But we could get our lands back and our people will be free and powerful and wealthy beyond all our wildest dreams.

Man - You are weaving a tangled web Tristan. You are treading on unsafe grounds. If you follow through with this deception to get what you desire it will be your destruction.

Tristan - I am doing this for our people

Man - We don't want what you want. We want freedom. You want riches, power and glory. You are doing this for yourself and you are giving up your heritage to do so.

Tristan - (shakes his head and gets up) I'll remember this when I'm ruling over Britannia and you are dead!

Tristan walks over to Livia's tent and enters.

Cut to inside the tent as Tristan's eyes adjust to the dim lighting. He hears Livia laughing. He looks over to see her lying with a dark haired man in black leather.

Tristan - Livia!!

The dark haired man disappears in a flash of blue light and lightening. Livia wraps a blanket around her bare form and looks at Tristan with an annoyed look.

Livia - What do you want?

Tristan - Who was that!?!(picks up a silver gauntlet)

Livia - Ares the God of War

Tristan - Was he? . . Were you . . .? (Livia just nods with no remorse) What about us?

Livia - Us? Ha! There was never any us. There is only power. You knew as well as I this only a deal

Tristan - (tries to think quick using emotion to worm his way back in favor)I didn't mean between us. I would have given up everything I am for you. Doesn't that mean anything?

Livia - Only that you are a fool and so easy to con

Tristan - I would have given everything to you!

Livia - You don't have anything that I can take anymore. I have all I want from you and Ares has offered me more.

Tristan - YOU USED ME!! JUST TO GET A HOLD OF MY LANDS!!! WELL YOU WON'T KEEP IT!!

Livia - YOU'RE GOING TO STOP ME!?

Tristan - Damn right I will!

Livia - You're a fool Tristan!

Tristan - And you're a dead woman!

Tristan storms out of the tent with the look of murder on his face

End Flashback

Cut to inside the centre. Eve runs out from the backroom with a sword in her hand ready to lock the centre door. Aidan walks in with an angry look on his face. Eve stops dead in her tracks and causing her to inch back when seeing Aidan.

Aidan - Hello Livia

Eve - My name is Eve

Aidan - Changing your name does not change what you have done.

Eve - I could say the same about you. I know about those men your murdered.

Aidan - And that makes you better than me? For two thousand years I've walked this earth damned and alone. I took comfort in thinking that maybe you suffered with an excruciating death but here you are alive and comfortable without any pain or regret over what you did.

Eve - You're wrong. Everyday I have to deal with what I did as Livia. I'm sorry for what I did to you. I regret everything that happened between us.

Aidan - Regret? What do you know about regret? After you burned my village and two other villages I was shunned from my home! I was regarded as a demon and a traitor. They said . . . they said by trying to find a way to take over Rome I would damn myself . . .

Eve - What?

Aidan - But they were wrong! You, like the devil you are, tempted me with it, used me to gain my homeland and then . . . then you ruined me.

Eve - Tristan . . .

Aidan - TRISTAN IS DEAD!!! And that's all thanks to you and that bastard Ares but I took care of him like I will take care of you now

Eve - I am so sorry for the pain I've caused you. If I could make up for it . . .

Aidan - (laughs in a crazy way) I was told that you would try to convince me you've changed. And yet, here you are with a sword!

Eve throws the sword over to the door.

Eve - Fine. You want revenge, here I am

Aidan walks over to her and looks her straight in the eye

Aidan - It's no fun if you don't fight back. (punches her in the face) But that won't stop me.

Eve lay on the ground moaning for a moment and as she gets up on her hands and knees Aidan kicks her in the stomach. She screams gasping for air. Aidan comes around to Eve's head to kick her there but Eve flips up to stand on her hands and puts her legs around Aidan's neck. She brings herself up punches him in the face then flips him over. Eve gets up and scrambles away from him. Aidan gets up and smiles

Aidan - Haven't lost the old touch I see

Aidan flips over to Eve and grabs her by the hair.

Aidan - You are such a hypocrite. You claim to have changed but you are still fighting like a bad ass bitch

Eve - You can do what you want to me I don't care. The only reason I'm fighting back is because of what you might do to my friends if I'm not around to stop you.

Aidan - (puts her hands around Eve's neck ready to snap it) If you are referring to Alex, she means nothing to me.

Just as Aidan is about to snap Eve's neck. Alex screams

Alex - NO!

Aidan looks up and he gets Alex jabbing a sword in his chest. He let's Eve go falling to the floor

Flashback

On the battle ground Rome was winning. Roman soldiers kill all of the opposing side. Livia comes riding slashing men with her sword. Livia flips off her horse and brutally kills a man stabbing him repeatedly

Livia - DIE BARBARIANS!!!!!

Tristan sees this and grabs a Gaelic soldier’s spear and throws it at Livia hitting her in her back. She falls down. She breaks the spear off. She gets up and sees Tristan in the distance

Livia - KILL THEM ALL!!!THE WHOLE REGIMENT AND THE VILLAGES! BURN THEM TO THE GROUND. I WANT THEM ALL DESTROYED BEFORE THE SUN GOES DOWN.

All the soldiers begin their attacks. It is brutal and even more forceful then before. The opposing force is losing.

Livia walks over to Tristan. He runs at her and attacks. She runs toward him and uses the move he first used on her sending him to land on his stomach. He gets up to find Livia standing over him

Tristan - How can you do this?

Livia - All's fair in love and war

Then Livia stabs Tristan in the heart. Livia takes her sword out and wipes the blade. She then walks off as Tristan lay on the ground dying.

Cut to the sundown. There is a fire in the distance and the villages are being destroyed. You can hear the screaming. Pan over to Tristan who lays there still breathing but just barely. We pan down to his hand. A golden apple rolls down and hits his hand. Slowly Tristan picks it up. He sees that it has a black X burned into it. He takes this as a sign and bites into it.

End Flashback

Eve - Alex!

Alex - I'm sorry I just . . . He was about to . . (she stops when there is a groan heard)

Pan over to Aidan. He gets up with the sword sticking out of his chest. He pulls it out with a grunt

Aidan - I forgot how much swords hurt(throws the sword on the ground)

Alex - How!

Eve - He's immortal. Although I don't know how.

Aidan - A little thing called the golden apple. You didn't count on someone saving me did you. Well, just so you know, there is someone out there who hates you as much as I do

Alex - Forget that. (Alex rolls on the ground and gets the sword)Not even an immortal can live through having his head chopped off.

She holds the sword up high and is about to chop his head off when he just looks at her with a sincere look of hurt in his eyes.

Alex is affected by the look.

Eve - Alex?

Alex - I can't. (throws the sword down) Get out of here!

Eve - What are you doing?

Alex - (to Aidan) If I see you here again I will kill you

Aidan gets up. He looks at Alex and then to Eve. He nods and walks out. Eve looks at Alex in disbelief

Alex - I couldn't do it.

Eve - No, no it's alright. I'm proud of you

Alex - What?

Eve - If you killed him you would have been just like him. That's not what we do. I'm glad you showed such restraint. But he is troubled and he is a murderer. We need to stop him because he will do it again.

Alex - (thinking about the look he gave her) What if he has a soul? What if he's redeemable?

Eve - I wish that were true but I don't think it is. Alex, there is a lot you need to know.

COMMERCIAL

Cut to inside the Centre. It's evening. Jeff comes running in the centre out of breath. He sees Eve

Jeff - Eve! Alex wasn't there she might . . . (sees Alex) Be here

Eve - Aidan showed up almost right after you left.

Alex - Yeah, I had come back to see if Eve closed up when I heard a struggle inside. There was Aidan fighting Eve and ready to kill her. I was about to kill him but . . . I couldn't take the shot.

Eve - I'm sorry you had to see that and be put in that position. I know you liked Tris . . .I mean Aidan

Alex - Yeah I did but I think I liked the thought of being liked even more. I just jumped right in without thinking about it. I feel kind of stupid now after everything you told me about that jerk. I totally let my guard down and he played me.

Eve - Alex never feel stupid about loving someone.

Alex - Probably wouldn't have worked out anyway. He's like what, a couple thousand years older then me.

Jeff - This guy isn't good news. Don't let your guard down now. He might come back or he might kill again. I think we need to find a way to stop him

Eve - (sighs) You're right but I wish some things would just stay in the past

Jeff and Alex both give Eve a look

Eve - Except for me of course

Jeff - Speaking of the past, are you ready to give me your life story? I've got a right to know.

Alex - Hoo boy we are in for a long haul

Eve - (smiles) Well my story starts before I was born. With a man named Eli, an angel named Callisto, a prophesy and a woman named Xena . . .

Cut to a wooded area. Aidan is walking along looking behind him every few feet. He makes his way in behind a bush. When he looks back to the front of him He sees a dark shadowed figure in front of him. He stops in his tracks suddenly and is startled. He regains his composure.

Aidan - I was caught (The dark figure approaches) I know! I know I let my emotions get the better of me. I wanted to destroy her right there and then and I deviated from the plan. If we want to destroy Eve we have to do it through her friends. I will do it your way now. I can get to Alex.
