Bah. I have to apologize. All the dummy files are on my computer, but they don't want to upload. I may hold off trying again until they're finished. In other news, I've graduated high school. Yay! On to the rush of college, where unlimited fast Internet will allow me to do a lot more with this site. In the meantime, here are some quick links to some recent stories, just to show you all I'm not dead yet. CartervilleAn Excursion Into Hyperspace New splash page. Her name is Raine, and she's from a comic I'm starting with a friend, tentatively titled "Wings." I may put it up when I have a few pages; for now we're working out the story and characters. This was just a color test. Splash image will probably change every time I update art. Dummy pages of the galleries are now up. Pictures will come as soon as I make new thumbnails of what I want to keep. Some of these doodles are from freshman year---I've gotten a lot better, and it's embarassing to see them posted on the Net. I got the writing pages up too, but again, it'll be a while for any real stuff to get on there because I'm redoing a lot of the stories, and I want to change how you can read them. Aside from that, it's just a time issue. Spring break didn't give me nearly as much time as I'd hoped. The rest of the site will still be a long time in coming . . . sorry about that. I have a term paper, high school is wrapping up, college is knocking on the door . . . I just can't afford to devote much time to a website where I'm practically the only visitor. Sad, but true. At least I've got new material, and some plans for revising the old crap. Eventually it'll all be back up, but probably not until summer. For those who actually do want to see more of my art, my Elfwood gallery is updated a lot more often, as it's less work. Yay, art class! I finally got off my butt and made a new front page image for the site! It's watercolor pencil with a little computer help to compensate for a really light scan. In other news, I'm going to be putting up the site piecemeal, as it's way too much trouble to try coding this whole thing at once, and you'd be left waiting forever for the site. Forgive all broken links and links that lead to old pages; it's going to be a bit of a mess for a while. I've pretty much given up on ever getting Journals up to date, but I'll probably still stick them up every now and again, when I get a chance to type them up. I had to take a few stories down in the Writing section, and leave off posting a few more. Dratted contest rules. I can't risk even the appearance of being published. Links are as woefully behind as ever. When I get a better Internet connection (*cough*Broadband*cough*) or more time to wait for my lousy dial-up to download, I'll keep fixing it. If you find a broken link, help me out a little by dropping a line! I'd very much appreciate it. For those who actually like my poor art, Yes, this class does mean I'll be updating more often than I was. The main problem with me is that I like making computer art, which takes forever to finish. Not in the least because my dratted program keeps crashing and erasing ALL my data from the past save (usually a good hour or so of work) and it's too frustrating to have to go back and redo what I lost. But Art class means sketchbook assignments, and that means a good chance I'll upload it if it isn't total crap. And for the curious: this scene is an illustration for a place in one of my stories. The hunk of crystal is a castle-like structure known as the Spires, and used to contain dangerous mages or magical objects. The gryphon is a gryphon, and he's there because I like the little critters. I'm a bit lazy here, though: there should be forest instead of a plain. Oh, well. Maybe I'll just change the story. :) |

The standard warning here: No Stealing. Everything on this site is the result of many hours of work. All art is © me, unless otherwise stated. If you want to use anything here on your own site, I'll probably okay it if you link back to me, but I need to know first. |
