JEREMIAH PRESS RELEASE

Fans Campaign To Save Jeremiah

Jeremiah season finale after only seven episodes? But Jeremiah fans want all fifteen episodes!

A special double episode season finale has been announced by Showtime Friday Nov 7th from 10PM-11:30PM and encoring Sunday Nov 9th from 11:30PM-1AM.

Fans who want all fifteen episdodes are asked to make their voices heard by going to either Sean Astin's Jeremiah Gallery or The Abyss and following their 'one click - many emails' method of getting the word out.

Rakshi who runs the Sean Astin devoted Jeremiah Gallery and Monica Hubinette's The Abyss, the leading fan-site dedicated to J Michael Straczynski and his Showtime series, Jeremiah, have been working very hard for the last few days.

What's been taking up their time? Their nationwide call-to-arms has unified fans of the Showtime series Jeremiah, a post-apocalyptic science-fiction series adapted from the comic book by Platinum Studios, starring Luke Perry, Sean Astin (Lord of the Rings) and Malcolm-Jamal Warner, and written and executive produced by J. Michael Straczynski.

Last week, Showtime announced in its weekly newsletter and on its website that Jeremiah's "Season Finale" would air Friday, November 7. Fans took out their calculators and realized that there are eight more produced episodes. So, why no announcement of the already produced third season?

Fans of Jeremiah were quick to jump on the "missing 8" and immediately rang in their opinion on Showtime's message boards. Hours later, the Jeremiah fan-sites (as well as fan-sites for the various stars of the show) began unifying their fans in a collective voice directed at Showtime, MGM and Platinum Studios (the comic book entertainment company which adapted the series from an award-winning comic book) through email, website and message board postings.
