  • The Military Order of Coeur de Leon (Living History & Reenactment)
    http://www.caerdubh.com/coeurdeleon/index.html

The order is a military/statesman order made up of knights and men at arms, charged with upholding the laws and values of common decency. Although patterned after the Military Orders of the Crusades such as the Knights Templar, the Order of Coeur de Leon is entirely secular. Members are required to take an Oath of Chivalry and are expected to do their best to live up to that code on pain of dishonor.

This is the home page for the Men (& women) of Warwick, a reenactment group for the Wars of the Roses (1455-1485). The Men of Warwick is a re-enactment group based in Maryland, USA with events and members throughout the northeastern United States.

Midgard was founded in October 2001 to spread knowledge of the Middle Ages by means of battle reenactments and living history displays. Our combat is semi-choreographed with wooden or blunted steel weapons, not competitive, and it is both a LOT of fun and a great crowd-pleaser. Initially we will focus on the period of the Norman Conquest (AD 1066), portraying Normans, Saxons, and Vikings, but other parts of the Middle Ages may be included in the future. There are a number of other fine medieval reenactment groups already, and we hope to work in concert with them. We are a new group but our founding members are all long-time veteran reenactors (medieval and otherwise).
