Seibel vs. Plunkett

A woman says a brawl outside a Kansas bar led to damages done to her car that her insurance company won't cover. Now, she's in Curtis Court suing the man she says is responsible for the damages. The defendant claims he is not responsible for any of the damages.

Armstrong vs. Hill

Two best friends from New York take their differences to Curtis Court to settle a dispute over the details of night out that ended with the plaintiff's car being damaged.

Tuesday, January 2nd

Scafuro vs. Sanson

Things went very wrong for two New Jersey best friends when they decided to move in together. Now, the girls who considered themselves sisters they were so close, are in Curtis Court arguing over utility bills and the security deposit.

Wednesday, January 3rd

Root vs. Curtis

A couple that met while in the Navy and carried on a ten year long distance relationship is now in Curtis Court arguing over a loan she allegedly made him while they were seeing each other. He claims that the only reason she's suing him is because she's jealous that he has moved on with his life.

Birch vs. Layaou

A woman is suing her stepsister and husband for money she loaned them to buy a house. The couple claims that a work arrangement was made to repay the debt and that he has worked off the money he owes the plaintiff.

Thursday, January 4th

Hannigan vs. Lee

Two women roommates are in Curtis Court arguing over money the plaintiff says she loaned the defendant. In addition to the monetary issues, James tries to reconcile the damages the loan has done to their daughters' relationship.

Friday, January 5th

Perkowski vs. Natale

A woman is suing the mother of one of her son's best friends. The woman claims that the defendant's son stole her son's bike and kept the parts under their house. The defendant claims that her son found the bike and since it's not registered, it can't be proven that it is indeed the plaintiff's bike.

Monday, January 8th

Brooks vs. Hanauer

A Virginia couple who rented a house to a friend of their daughters is now in Curtis Court suing the man for unpaid rent and damages to the house. The man claims vandals did the damage after he moved out.

Tuesday, January 9th

Staley vs. Bryce

A hairstylist is suing her friend over the cost of a hairdo. The defendant says she didn't pay because the braids that were put in her hair fell out after only two days. The plaintiff claims that a friend witnessed the defendant swimming at the beach causing the braids to fall out. A hair styling expert is brought to the courtroom to help James Curtis settle the dispute.

Evans vs. Petree

A Missouri woman is suing her former roommate for money she says he owes her. The defendant claims he has already paid back most of the money he owes and that the only reason she is suing is because he kicked her friends out of the apartment.

Wednesday, January 10th

Louis vs. Chin

A dispute between a woman and her ex-finacee over alleged missing funds from a joint account lands two exes in Curtis Court.

Thursday, January 11th

Jones vs. Jones

A Philadelphia woman is suing her younger brother for money she says she loaned her brother to buy a car. She claims she told her brother that if he graduated on time, he would not have to pay back the loan but since he didn't, he owes her. LaRon claims that he did graduate on time and that his sister won't honor her part of the deal.

Friday, January 12th

Wilczynski vs. Roney

A Philadelphia woman who says she loaned her on and off boyfriend of five years her cell phone now wants the man to pay the phone bills he accrued. The man, who has a two year old daughter with the plaintiff, claims the she wanted him to have the phone and there was never an agreement that he would pay the bill.

Massi vs. Pittman

Two former coworkers from North Carolina who were both looking for a place to live decided to move in together. Before long, the two didn't get along and the plaintiff decided to get a new job and move out. Then things went really wrong. Now her and her former roommate are in Curtis Court trying to settle their differences.

Monday, January 15th

Quick vs. Erwin

A couple that moved in together after knowing each other for only three months is now in Curtis Court arguing over an alleged loan the man needed to buy a truck. The man says the truck purchase was something they did as a couple and that the plaintiff forgets about the electrical work he did for her after they broke up.

Bates vs. Tarrant

A New York woman is suing a man she dated for money she says she lent the man while they dated. The man claims that he had no definitive period to pay back the loan and that she's only suing because she is jealous of his new girlfriend.

Tuesday, January 16th

Cardello vs. Brown

A nineteen year old Connecticut girl who threw a lingerie party at her home is suing one of her friends for the cost of an outfit. The plaintiff claims that she fronted the money to buy the lingerie and is now stuck with an outfit she doesn't want because the defendant won't pay her. The defendant claims she doesn't have money to buy the lingerie and never asked the plaintiff to front the money.

Wednesday, January 17th

Haynes vs. Lett

A Brooklyn woman is accusing her former pastor of duping her out of approximately $3,000. The plaintiff says the pastor promised to help her marital problems disappear if she made donations to the church. The pastor denies ever asking the plaintiff for money, insists that her church is legitimate, and says that she tried to help save the plaintiff's marriage.

Thursday, January 18th

Ancrum vs. Thomas

A Bronx woman who was going to be away in the military for five months claims she came home only to find out that the car she says she lent a friend had been sold. The defendant claims that the plaintiff had sold her the car for $600 before she left.

Safferstein vs. Kovalik

A Connecticut woman is suing a roofer for damage done to her car by falling shingles. The defendant claims he told her to move her car out of the driveway so he could put in a dumpster and that she parked too close to the dumpster.

Friday, January 19th

Clough vs. Sculthorpe

Two Michigan women are in Curtis Court arguing over the details of a living situation gone bad. The plaintiff claims that the defendant gave her only one day's notice when she abruptly decided to move out. The defendant says everything went sour when her roommate starting dating a man and that relationship forced her to move out.

Monday, January 22nd

Jernigan vs. Alden

A Florida man who sold a woman a trailer is suing her for the balance of payment he says she owes him. The woman claims that the man promised but failed to give her the trailer attachments needed to keep the trailer from swaying on the road and thus she held up the final payment.

Tuesday, January 23rd

Davidson vs. Brown

When a single mother of two moved in with a single father of two things seemed like they were headed for a very Brady-like wedding. However, the defendant claims he had an engagement ring but wasn't going to officially propose until he was sure things were working out. Unfortunately, things didn't work out, and now they're in Curtis Court trying to settle their differences.

Wednesday, January 24th

Daniels vs. Delp

A twenty-one year old Ohio woman is suing her ex-roommate for over $2500 worth of unpaid bills. She claims that the bulk of these charges were collect calls from the defendant's husband. The defendant claims that all of the bills were not hers and that she already paid her roommate $1400.

Reynolds vs. Garris

"Psycho Sublet"

When a sublet agreement made between two New York women goes wrong the women turn to Curtis Court arguing over whether the plaintiff deserves the deposit she put down back.

Thursday, January 25th

Small vs. Jordan

Two singer song writers from Brooklyn involved in a financial dispute that has them both singing the blues call on James Curtis to settle their dispute in Curtis Court.

Friday, January 26th

Gloria vs. Tania

A New Jersey woman is suing her sister for $3000 worth of interior decorating. She claims that her sister did shoddy work and that her house still looks like a work in progress. The plaintiff believes that her sister likes the decorating but just doesn't want to pay up.

Wolin vs. Sklarski

"Sweet Revenge"

A twenty-four year old woman is suing a man she was dating for bail money she says she lent him. The man claims the plaintiff was persistent on bailing him out of jail even though he had others offering to give him the money. He believes that she is suing because he went back with his wife.
