Turtles

This page has some links to info on different kinds of reptiles here in North Jersey. I (Clay) spend most of the summer not spent paintballing looking for snakes and turtles. I have one pet snapping turtle, named Merticus, and a Green Iguana, but he is needless to say, not native to here. Check out our links page for the Snappers and Others Turtle Club banner and link. I have listed native species that are most common here, and that I have personally found or seen. I have never caught a black snake or black racer, but have seen them.

Pictures are on the way, for now my scanner is down, and I can't get any new pics until summer anyway. This page will hopefully be expanded on a good deal over the summer. But not likely until then.
