A group of rag-tag fourth graders sit on the playground at Nichols Elementary. Silently, unbeknownst to their teachers, they conspire. They work carefully and diligently for weeks on end until a goal can be established. May 22. Days roll past, and finally the much anticipated day arrives. A day of harmony and peace, as it coincides with the birth of a good friend. In preparation, one of the founding members prints off multiple pages, advertising the group's mission. A national holiday celibrating weasels.

Much anticipation follows the second annual "Weasel Day". Members across the globe [city] organize vast systems of pro-weasel advertising. As the day arrives, the boys, now the oldest in their school, run the plan flawlessly. Another fantastic day.
Much questioning comes with the boys' dedication to the weasels. Why on Earth would they praise such odd and foul creatures? The following chart shows their reasoning:

As May 22 rolls around, the boys lose interest in their cause. Now the youngest in their school, they face ridicule and embarrassment from their elders. Weasel day is put away. Who would know that the holiday may never return again?
As they grew older, weasel day was slowly forgotten. But why? There is no reason! We need to return to these days of glory! Celebrate Weasel day!
