Hi from Amy, Chris, Camryn, Morgan, and Rocky. Check back from time to time to see what we've been up to. Check out the "What's New" section to see the latest.

This picture of all of us was taken in December 2001. Boy, did Jerry have a hard time getting everyone looking at the camera and smiling!

This picture of our first baby, Admiral Rockefeller, was taken when he was just a pup.

I added our Soileau family picture up here, since it's the most recent of us with Morgan. We just had it taken for Mom last month. She wanted it for her birthday. Needless to say, it was a little late!

What's Old

What's New

September 15:Hey, it's been so long, I've almost forgotten how to update this thing. Camryn and her friend, Julia, were looking at this site, and Julia wanted pictures of her on here, so I put 12 pictures that they've selected on here.

School is fine. I didn't cry when I left Camryn at kindergarten and I was fine leaving Morgan at school, too. I thought that I would lose it both days. Anyway, Camryn loves school, Morgan is having a hard time being left there, but loves playing at school. Camryn is also doing dance again and soccer, so we've been very busy.

May 27:Hi, I'm just getting around to updating the website. Here are some pictures from Morgan's birthday party and Camryn's pictures in her dance recital costume. She is so excited about her recital. She gets to be in the middle because she is one of the few that knows the dance. She can't wait to have her hair curled and makeup on.

Morgan walks everywhere now. During the week, she figured out how to stand up without pulling up on something, so she's been working on that. She is a mess and has a nice little temper. Just ask Julie about our lunch at the mall the other day!

We are hoping to have a nice Memorial Day weekend. Tonight we are having an end of school street party and we are all getting together for pizza. Camryn can't wait and got dressed before 7 this morning and said she was ready and what time were we ordering pizza. Ugh! I told her 6:00, I think she thought it was 6am.

April 23: I'm here to post new pictures from when we had our picnic at Lake Texoma. Camryn was so excited about the picnic. I took them to the bluebonnets first, but all she wanted to know was when we were going to have our picnic. They had a good time playing at the beach. Camryn climbed all of the big rocks. Morgan climbed up one of the big ones too, and I had to pull her down. They played in a cave, and Morgan liked walking in the sand for the first time.

We are excited about Morgan's birthday party. She chose Elmo out of a stuffed animal lineup, so we'll have an Elmo party. I can't believe she is about to be 1 already. She will be walking very soon--she tries so hard, and can stand up by herself a little. She points at everything and babbles a lot. Today she got her very first blackeye.

April 5: Can't believe it's been this long since updating this thing, but I had been spending all of my free time working on the catalog and getting some sewing and needlepoint done. I hope to begin working on scrapbooks again really soon.

The girls are doing great. They play well together and love each other so much. Sometimes if they both wake up before I do, Camryn will climb in the crib with Morgan and I wake up to hear them giggling and having fun together. Camryn is excited about spring and the green grass and pretty flowers. She loved being in LA for Easter and all of the flowers Papa had in his yard.

I can't believe that Morgan will be a year old this month. Time has flown by so quickly. She is so fun and has her own unique strong-willed personality. What a busy-body! She has to touch everything, open everything, climb everything. Everyday, Chris and I are asking each other "Camryn never did that, did she?" She gets into trouble a lot..the funny kind of trouble, where I am saying, "What did you get into now?" and she smiles and crawling away as quickly as possible.

We've got a lot of stuff coming up...Morgan's birthday party is May 1st. Camryn has preschool graduation (I know it's ridiculous) on May 18th. Her class will be performing there. Her dance recital is June 4th and shortly after, she will host a party at the beach club for all of her preschool/dance/playgroup friends. You see, she thinks that for her 10 year old birthday, she will have her birthday party at the beachclub like some of her friends have had. She doesn't get yet that her birthday will never be in the summer no matter how old she gets, so I thought I would have a end of school party for her there. I think she'll have a blast!

See you all later. I hope you enjoy all of the pictures.

September 22:Hi, this was Camryn before her first day of school. She was so excited. She loves school and she runs off when I drop her off and I'm saying "where's my hug?" but she's already gone! She is also doing very well in dancing and she will be in a fall show on October 23rd. They are performing at a nursing home in their halloween costumes. That will be so cute.

We just got back from Lafayette. Friday night we ate dinner at Grandma's house. Bente and Flemming were there along with Flemming's mom and sister. We had a big turkey dinner. Camryn liked playing hide and seek with her Uncle Paul. Saturday we went to Chuck and Nancy's and Suzy and Danielle met us there. Morgan was pretending to fly and laughing at Camryn. She was hamming it up for everyone. Sunday we went to visit Paw Paw and Uncle Jody. Camryn watched Home on the Range and Lion King 1 1/2 about a million times while we were there and ate tons of junk food. She came out of the bedroom and asked for cheetos. d Dad gave her some and she brought them to bed with her. She comes out later and asks for more and I want to know who let her eat cheetos in the bed. She totally ratted dad out..."Papa did!"

Well, we had fun although the visit seemed so short. We are looking forward to Sundays when everyone will come over and watch the Saints with us. That should be fun!

September 5:Hey everyone, I have a lot of pictures, here are some of them. I don't really have the time or the room to put all of the cute ones on!

The girls are doing great. Morgan is sleeping 10-12 hours at night and taking good naps during the day. She smiles and laughs a lot and has just started squealing and babbling just to hear herself do it. She rolls over and can scoot when she's on her back. She can grab toys and put them in her mouth. She loves to splash in the bathtub.

Camryn is getting so big. She is taking dancing and loves it. She is so cute in her leotard and tights. She is getting good at tapping--her favorite dance on taps is the hokey pokey. She starts school on Wednesday and was really excited about buying new school shoes and clothes but especially about her new purple tinkerbell backpack which is bigger than she is, her Care Bears lunch box and her pretty nap mat. She is so excited about starting school. We met her teachers last week and she wanted to stay. She helps me so much with Morgan. She will give her her binky when I'm driving and loves to play with her and read her stories.

Not much else going on. We will be going to Louisiana in a couple of weeks.

July 15:Life is always interesting at the Richardson household. Camryn got these teeth from a birthday party treat bag. Isn't she beautiful?

She has been keeping me so busy. This week we did dancing twice, the library once, McDonald's, a Planet Pizza birthday party, one playdate at a friend's house, and a swimming playdate over here. She loves dancing and is so cute in her leotard. On the first morning, Chris could hear that she was awake and went to her room to get her. She was completely dressed--tights, leotard, and skirt. It was 7 am and dancing wasn't until 10! She is doing such a good job prancing around on her tippy toes and doing all of the positions and her shuffle step is so funny!

Morgan is great. We got her pictures taken today in our yellow dress. I told the photographer that I didn't want Morgan to smile because I wanted it to match the pictures that I have of me and Camryn. Of course, Morgan was all smiles--that head was just bobbin side to side and she was grinning ear to ear. We thought she was so cute but it wasn't what I wanted. How many moms wished their babies would smile like that when getting their first pictures and here I am rejecting all of these pictures because she's smiling!

She is the happiest baby, not really fussy at all, has a smile for everyone (just ask the photographer who was just trying to get her to sit up). I can't wait for you all to meet her at the baptism (2:30 July 24, St. Edmond's, Congress St.), or if you can't come to that, come to her party afterward at Grandma and Maria's house (ask Mom for directions). See you all soon!

June 28:Here is another picture of our cheesy girls. Doesn't Morgan have the biggest double chin? Everyone is doing okay. Thursday, our friends Deborah, Eddie, Brigid, and Caelyn came from Washington St. to visit, and we had a playgroup pizza party at Camryn's friend Maddie's house. The kids played themselves out in the backyard. At one point they were all crying and I knew that no physical harm had been done to Camryn so I asked what her problem was. She said "I just want to sleep!"

Chuck and Nancy came to visit this weekend. Saturday, Nancy and I went to Joann's and Sam Moon. Sam Moon was full of people, but I love going there! I bought a purse and a wallet and Nancy bought several things as well. Saturday night we went to Macaroni Grill. When I was pregnant there was a drink there that I craved the whole time and couldn't wait until I had Morgan so I could go and get it, but once I got there, it didn't look as good to me anymore. I ended up not getting it, I had a headache anyway. Morgan screamed the entire time. We have no idea what her problem was...she's usually pretty good. Who knows!

Anyway, we have playgroup tomorrow and Morgan has her two month visit to the doctor on Wednesday. That should be a ball. Camryn is excited because I told her that Morgan would give her the sucker she gets for getting shots. Camryn is also happy that she's not the one getting shots!

June 18:Hi everyone. We are all doing well. Morgan started semi-sleeping through the night since Sunday. She still wakes up between 4:30 - 5:30 am, but if we give her a pacifier, she will go back to sleep until 6 - 7. So we aren't feeding her in the middle of the night and we are getting more sleep! Yeah!

Morgan's hair is so cool...I call her Ed Grimley. It won't stay down no matter how much lotion you put on it. She is starting to smile and hold her head up a little bit.

Camryn is still funny and silly. She went to the beach with her daddy for a friend's birthday party on Saturday and had so much fun. She also took swimming lessons and has fun going to the library and playing with her friends. She is still a whiz at the computer and is starting to recognize words in the books I read.

Happy Fathers Day to all you fathers. We love you!

June 07: Hey everyone, we are doing well. We got a visit from Maria and Grandma a couple of weeks ago. Camryn loved having more people here to play with and Morgan loved having people here to hold her. Mom just left yesterday after staying the weekend.

Morgan is doing well and only waking up once during the night. I think she'll be sleeping through the night very soon. We are excited that our friend David, and Chris's sister Suzy will be Morgan's godparents. Her baptism will be July 24th at St. Edmond's. Hope you all can come.

May 25:Morgan's hospital pictures are online. Click here to see them.

May 5:A couple of new pics for everyone who has been complaining! We have been a little busy you know :) Click on the Photo Album Link above. We'll put more up later.

May 1: Greetings Everyone. We have a new member of the family. Say hello to Morgan Olivia Richardson. She was born on April 30 at 12:34 AM. She weights 6 lbs 12 oz and is 19 inches long. Amy and Morgan are doing great.

Here is Camryn holding her new little sister.

More updates will added later once we are home from the hospital.

January 30: Hey everyone. Finally getting around to updating this thing. I figured if I don't get caught up soon, I'll never be able to catch up. I've been working on Camryn's scrapbook, trying to get it up to date so I'll be in good shape when the baby comes.

Camryn is really excited about her baby sister. She wants to know if the baby can have a Belle dress and glass slippers just like she does. She keeps talking about all of the things she will do to help. She moved into her big girl room (she doesn't need the "baby room" anymore--that's for her sister). She really likes her new room. It is so cute.

So lately, we have been playing dress up a lot and going to the library and doctors appointments and playdates. I am trying to get her into a Tuesday/Thursday preschool for the fall. We didn't get into one school and still waiting to find out about the other. We are also calling dancing schools--princess wants to dance!

Camryn is excited about the Easter Bunny ALREADY. She asked to go to the mall the other day to see him and doesn't understand that she has to wait a couple of months. She has her list prepared for him already. She has a couple of dress up items that she'd like to have since she won't wear glass slippers that don't match a particular dress. She's going to be at her Granny & Papa's for Easter. Chris and I will have to stay home, but she is already talking about going with Paran!

August 4: Hi everyone. We're finally getting around to updating the website. We have done so much since the last time we've updated. We went home for Dina's wedding in June and Summer's in July. Jodi, Doug and Gavin came for a visit and we went to the horse races and Six Flags. We had our Fourth of July block party which was really fun. Alan and Paul came for a visit, too.

We just got back from Indiana visiting Chris's grandma and going to a family reunion. The 13-14 hour trip went just fine with our new portable DVD player in the backseat. The reunion was on Saturday at a hotel about 30 minutes from Grandma's house. There was an indoor pool so Camryn had a good time in there. We all went out to eat lunch and then hung out until 9 or 10. Camryn was exhausted.

We went to Holiday World while we were there. There were so many rides for little kids and Camryn rode EVERYTHING! There was a little roller coaster there that she rode with Chris. When they were going up, she had her little arms up in the air. It was so cute. She got to ride Thunder River and she got the wettest of course. She got off the ride and asked for her towel! One ride she rode at least five times. We were there from about 10:30 and when 5:30 came around and it was time to leave, she started crying, "Camryn ride!"

We also got to fish while we were there. She saw me catch a fish. She also liked to sit on the dock. She also got to see some bunnies and two deer. When we got home from eating out on our last night, there was a buck in grandma's yard. Chris was getting her out of her carseat so she could get a better look when the buck ran in the trees. Camryn said, "bye deer". Chris then took her around the other side of the trees where the buck met the doe. Chris said the deer stared at him and Camryn. Chris told her that it was a buck and a doe. Camryn said No, daddy. That's two deer!

May 7: Hey, just wanted to put the Easter pictures up here. We had a great time at Jodi and Doug's for Easter. Camryn loves playing with all of her cousins. By the end of the day, her dress was black, her feet were black, and the rest of her was red from spending the entire day out in the sun. She was delighted that the Easter Bunny gave her fruit snacks, princess books, princess watch, suckers, and a Dora DVD. She also loved that the eggs from the Easter egg hunt had chocolate in them. When we got home, she tried opening all of the eggs I had out here for decorations to see if they had candy.

We recently got the house painted. The outside was peeling bad and we were never thrilled with the color inside. I think that it looks great. Then we bought new knobs for the cabinet doors and our outside doors. Chris will probably finish putting all of those on this weekend while we're gone.

We are looking forward to going home for Mother's Day. Chris has two games on Sunday, so Camryn and I will be making the trip by ourselves.

Camryn and I got in the hot tub for a couple of hours the other day. We were warming up the pool, but it was taking too long, so we shut off the heater to the pool and got in the hot tub instead. She is becoming quite adventurous--she puts her ring around her waist and jumps in. I let her go in the big pool the other day--Chris and I sat at the table and watched her. She did pretty well until she tried to climb out from the bench and fell backwards into the pool. Chris jumped in after her. She cried for about a minute and then went right back in!

April 15: Hi, I got some cute pictures that I wanted to share with everyone.

Camryn went to see the Easter Bunny the other day. First we went to Target to buy her some sandals. While we were there, she saw a Cinderella watch and asked to see it. Then she asked to have it. I told her that she should ask the Easter Bunny for one. She asks, "where is he?" We went to the mall, and she was rehearsing all that she was going to say to him..."easter bunny, give me candy...easter bunny, a cinderella watch, easter bunny, camryn presents" She rehearsed these lines until we got right up to him. When she saw him she says, "oh! there he is...camryn hug him?" She sat right up on his lap and took her picture. But she forgot to tell him what she wanted. I think she got gun shy. When I was putting her back in her stroller, she yells, "Easter Bunny! A Cinderella Watch!" I hope he heard her!

Mac, Camryn, Rocky, and I rode up to Lake Texoma to take pictures of Camryn in the bluebonnets. It is so nice up there. There were acres of bluebonnets and not very many people there, so we got great pictures of Camryn and Rocky with no one in the background. The minute we got there, Camryn started pulling flowers out of the ground and smelling them. She also started sitting in the middle of the patches because she knew that's how you take pictures in the bluebonnets.

Then we went to Eisenhower State Park. We brought Camryn to the beach. There were a ton of ladybugs on the rocks, and she kept asking us to put them in her hands.

Mom and Dad have Camryn for the week. We met them at the Louisiana rest area. She was excited to see her granny and papa, and knew that they were taking her to see her nanny. Chris and I stopped at the Horseshoe Casino. It's really nice. I've been shopping and to the spa so far. So far, Camryn hasn't asked for us. We'll be going home on Friday.

March 31: How is everyone? Just wanted to let you all know what we've been up to.

Camryn and I went to see Sesame Street Live and then Chris and I took her to Disney on Ice Princess Classics. She really enjoyed them both. She really liked the Seven Dwarfs and Cinderella's mouse friends. Goofy and Mickey and Minnie were also some of her favorites.

We had a fun time at Mardi Gras. It was kind of cold on the Sunday. Camryn got the hang of the bead throwing and ran to the end of the road at Granny's house to catch beads that were being thrown from a stray float. On the Tuesday, she helped her Papa plant tomatoes and peppers. I don't think she killed any. She really enjoyed digging in the dirt with her own set of tools.

We have gotten to go on walks lately and play at the park. Camryn loves to ride her tricycle and scooter outside. We'll have to get the roller blades out soon.

Mom and Ms. Kris came over last weekend. We were able to finish Camryn's bedding and do some shopping. We spent 4 hours at Gardenridge! We also went to the Arboretum which was nice.

Camryn is talking a lot more and saying sentences. She is really sleeping well in her "big girl" bed and can say her prayers all by herself. She is trying to use the potty--not all of the time, though. Cinderella stickers are her incentive for that. She is getting so big and doing so many big girl things. I can't call her my baby anymore...she says, "I big girl."

She is really looking forward to a visit from the Easter Bunny. She carries her basket around and filled it with bunny erasers that Berta gave her a few years ago.

See you all at Easter!

February 16: Hi, we're here for our monthly update. We haven't done a whole lot since the last time. It has snowed a couple of times since the last time so Camryn gets to wear her rubber boots. When we woke up this morning and showed Camryn the snow, she got really excited. She said "Camryn snow" "mommy snow". I said okay, we'll play in the snow later. She says "Camryn snowball?" I told her yes, she was really happy. There was not enough out there to do anything, we got snow from the top of the patio table and made lots of snowballs. Camryn would throw them at us or the sidewalk and giggle.

She's into helping me in the kitchen. She loves to make rice and stir noodles. She helped me bake a cake and make brownies. She loves to lick the bowl.

She no longer has a pacifier...so she no longer wants to go to bed...which made us have to convert her crib into a daybed because she kept climbing out of it. She hasn't napped at all this week. We still put her in her room for an hour to an hour and a half, but she plays with her toys when she's up there. She does go to bed a little earlier at night, but still plays up there for a little while.

She's almost getting the hang of riding her bike. She pedaled a whole revolution the other day, but then pedaled backward and the bike stopped. When the weather gets nicer, she'll be able to practice more.
