Village Square

    You enter a small square. All around you are people with notepads, scribbling away like mad, in the center of the square is a large statue of a quill.  Beneath the quill is a small plaque adorns the gilded pole. The inscription reads as follows:

To those who read this let it be known
I am Lyris and I protect this town
I shall enforce that to protect ev'ry ear

You are presented with a problem... the problem is, where do you go and what do you do in a town that you can't talk in? It makes you think a little bit too... Who is this Lyris and why won't he let anyone talk?  as you ponder these things you see two buildings open.  An office that seems for submitting some sort of document and a library.  Where do you visit first? Or maybe you should just leave...
