The Don Massaredo
The Don Massaredo is the warden of the prison where Horatio stays after he and his crew have been captured (and ironically where Archie is too). He is kind and takes a liking to Horatio but when Horatio takes the blame for one of his men's attempt to escape, he doesn't believe it but locks him in a hole in the ground for punishment. Later after Horatio saves the lives of members of a Spanish crew, he happily tells him that he has been released.
