Archie Kennedy is a nice guy, At first, he's always smiling and joking, however this happy Archie doesn't last long. With the return of Jack Simpson, who abused Archie at least physically (we won't get into the other ideas), he quickly becomes more withdrawn. Archie is prone to fits which are mostly caused by Jack's presence. He tries as hard as his friend Horatio to do well, but unfortunantly he seems to keep screwing up his chances of promotion. Finally things start working out for Archie and he begins to make a career in the Navy and regains his self confidence, and is once again the happy Archie we know and love.
