An effort to comprehensively
catalog the circulating recordings of Bob Dylan’s gospel-based live
performances from November 1979 through May 1980
WHERE
I’M AT:
I am currently
concentrating on the autumn 1979 tour only.
I already have all 26 Dylan sets known to circulate from this leg on
analog tape or cdr of widely varying quality.
Of these 26 shows, I have confirmed 10 complete shows, including all
performances by the backing band, and an eleventh which lacks only one song by
the backing band. I have concentrated
on identifying recordings at the expense of seeking high quality
recordings. I would now like to begin
archiving Master and near-Master tapes to cd-r.
