Orange Cone Pandemonium!

Don't understand the orage cone obsession? Would you like to? then read on.

Orange cones are lovely creatures from the plant Conium. They originally came here to bring color to the streets and make people smile. They developed an odd liking for construction, and constantly gathered around construction sites to watch.
Construction workers found that people on the streets would not run over these strange objects no one had seen before. Since there had been a high number of construction workers getting hit by cars in recent months, they decided to take these cones with them. They set them up around the edge of construction, and almost immediately, the number of construction workers getting hit by cars dropped.
You may think this is a good thing...
These cones were here to make people smile, which they did at first... but then when they were held captive at the road construction warehouses, and put out on the street, people saw them all the time. They no longer considered them to be a novelty, or even something to smile about. This upset the cones greatly...
They wanted to make people smile, and when they couldnt, they decided to go back to the home planet, Conium. Unfortunately, the construction workers had begun to put reflecty tape around them, which blocked their super duper wonder marvelous spectacular orange cone powers. They were stuck here!!!
Eventually, the orange cones decided to deal with being stuck on eath, and even the ones without reflecty tape stayed, because they didnt want to leave their friends behind.

I ask you, should we stand for this mistreatment of cones?? The answer is NO!!!
Some cones have been massively mestreated, like this one, which i rescued from a park:

Some have been cleaned to absolute prestige, and conformed into SUBERB CONES!!

And of course, cones breed too, so overpopulation is a problem:

What should we do about this, you ask? The answer is simple. If you see an orange cone being neglected, take it home with you! They only want to make me smile, and my family of 7 (which is sure to grow) has that effect on me each time i walk into my room. Do the right thing!!!
